That looks like a really tasty bakery item. You have made me hungry with a craving for a sweet pastry. 🤤
Rogale świętomarcińskie - uwielbiam.
Pozdrawiam z Poznania
I love Rogal MArciński It;s very tasty.
I like drozdzowki always with sth to drink- cofee, tea, pepsi , coke, juice, kompot. It is more delicious that way
Hello Rob, You can get it in whole Wielkopolska, in bakeries with certificate. Mniam 😊
I'm jealous and hungry now ;). Enjoy.
Was this song AI generated?
Probably
It was. I thought it was very impressive
@@RobReacts1 It's impressive, not going to lie, but thankfully AI still can't fool us 😁
There are actually 2 meals for 11th of November for celebrating St Martin's Day. Apart from the Rogals, you eat Goose (often its duck because it's cheaper and more available) with Poznań's "pyzy" that you've tried in the other video. Rogal for breakfast and then duck & pyzy for dinner
Luck would have it, you've got one from Fawor, allegedly the oldest baker company in Poznań.
The specifications of the rogal is as follows:
- Margarine-based Danish pastry
- Filling made of white poppy seeds, sponge biscuits, egg mixture, margarine, nuts, raisins, candied fruit, and almond extract
- Specific way of rolling and glazing
- Weighing between 150 and 250 grams
And apparently one of those is roughly 1200 calories
That song - so brilliant idea! :)
That video made me hungry. :)
Smacznego !!!!!!!!!
Pro tip to anyone wanting to try those - best time to do it is late October when bakeries make them extra good and filled way better than this one Rob had. It's the time when ppl are buying and taste testing them to know where they will buy a whole bunch for St Martin's Day and few days before I find they usually are not as good since they have to make 10 times more than usually and often quality drops. Otherwise, they're amazing!
Also arround 11th on Novemeber they can be bought probably in most bakeries in Poland?
it's been at least 2 years or more, that i started seeing them regulary in my local bakery in Warsaw...
and I didn't have problems to buy some in smaller cities/towns when i went to visit familly arround 11th of Nov...
Good things spread almost as fast as diesease...
fun fact: its 850 - 1200 kcal in one Rogal Świętomarciński. it's a full meal :D
OMG!!! Shocking!
@@stw4006 I think its the poppy filling. its very dense. BUT THEY ARE SO GOOD.
@@Liwaj42 Yep, they are delicious
😲 the song about Rogal Swiętojański?!?!? That is a surprise .
Pop in to a good polish shop in UK aroud 11.11 and you might buy it similar.
I'm not from Pozan, but I like regional specialities.
I'm bit jealous of a nice weather you are having in Poland now. I can not believe this constant layers of clouds we having in uk this year is natural.
Cheers
Yea good shout. Yea the weather was lovely, much better than back at home.
Oh Rob, I didn't know you were going to be in Poznań, just 50km away from me.
You can buy such croissants all over Poland, but they can't be called Świętomarcińskie. Besides, they will usually be bigger and cheaper (in my city about 7PLN for a croissant twice as big as those from the Croissant Museum in Poznań)
Yum Yum Yum😊😊😊
The rogal świętomarciński is a very big deal in Poznań. Every year, before 11 November, local newspapers publish a ranking of the best croissants in Poznań. Have you been to Rogalowe Muzeum?
I didn't have time unfortunately
Did you know that the recipe of this croissant, which was registered as a regional product protected by EU law, is not a traditional recipe, but a recipe from the communist times with vegetable oil in the composition? It's just that businessmen decided to save on production and registered a shitty product, and now real St. Martin's croissants can probably only be found in one confectionery shop and this confectionery and any other that makes traditional croissants, cannot use the name "St. Martin's Croissant"
Smakowite!😋👍
Mm this is yummy 😋
Plz write lyrics of this song ❤ i ve just found it at the end 🎉 nice done.
Super!!!
Heaven for your taste, hell for your diet 🤗
Who needs to diet... 🤣
@@RobReacts1 The taste is so unique because they contain white poppy seeds. White poppy seeds are very healthy.
@@RobReacts1 Women. They always see themselves as 'to fat' so they are permamently on diet... with some short brakes when they have a mental brakedown (refusing yourself delicious foods can lead to mental brakedowns!) and ... overeat and then they cry, because all that effort put into diet is now gone after 1 evening... so they eat even more to eat their sorrow to soon realise they don't like the way they look...and so the cycle begins again...
Seen that so many times in my life 😂
Are you in Poland to pick up your car? 😂
Uwielbiam te rogale. Kiedys nawet probowalam je zrobic.
@@Ewelka8 wyszly, wyszly.
suck sh&t on another Grand Final loss bro. Sydney are like the pig's end of the competition these days. Ultra chokers forevermore
I'm glad that you tried what we recommended 😊 When the 11th of November is approaching, you can buy them in other cities too 😁
I will see if they do them in our polish shops here on that day!
@@RobReacts1 Maybe ask before, but I doubt it 😶
Hey Rob,
Thanks for sharing this delicious delight with us. Enjoy your time in Poland and keep those vlogs rolling.
-Mark from Florida, USA
Pozdrawiam!
Rob, why didn't you let your fans know you were going to Poznań?
I'm sorry to say, but you went to one of the worst croissants in the city. This is an industrial company that slaps croissants en masse, like toasted bread.
If you want to eat a delicious croissant, handmade with real white poppy seeds, let me know.
Greetings from a native Poznańian
no i poszedł do najbliższego favora na Wielkiej przy rynku
I'm wainting for a OST of this video :)
I have a very sweet tooth!
@@RobReacts1 👍👍😂😂
It's funny - You eat and I feel the taste :)
Rogal świętomarcińki (Croissant of St. Martin's Day) is available not only in Poznan. In my city near Warsaw, you can also buy it at Biedronka.
food from lidl/biedronka is considered as dog food
@@Seba-dr7vv Yes, for dogs like you, that's for sure. As I understand it, you consider Polish agricultural crops to be dog food.
@@Seba-dr7vv With the latest data on the popularity of discounters, 37% of Poles stock up at Biedronka and 35% at Lidl. It's easy for you to insult 72% of Polish society.
And you Rob, as I see it, agree that food from Biedronka and Lidl is only suitable for dog food. Do you consider Poles to be dogs?
@@Seba-dr7vv Do you consider Poles to be dogs?
To add to that, the non-original rogale (that can't use the name "rogal świętomarciński") are often better because they can use butter instead of margarine, almonds instead of almond flavoring etc.
Piątka!!!!!ja to samoxD😊😊😊
Każda pliszka swój ogonek chwali😂
Rogale lepsze :)+
imitations of this rogal are far more tasty
As a polish i think that's 12pln is a lot for one crossaint, for example crossaint with chocolate is abiut 2,30pln right now? It's fun to see that foreigners are trying our specials. If you're interested you should try "wodzianka" It's special soup on świętokrzyskie, made with bread and water. Ut doesn't sound very nice, but it tastes well
12pln for a pastry isnt that bad acctually, jagodzianka cost up to 30pln in some places
Don't compare industrial croissants with St. Martin's croissant. First of all, it is much larger than those cheap crap and is made of better quality ingredients.
Oh of course.
