Damn !! Sam every second of this film is worth all the planning, shooting, mental strengthening that you guys would have been through !! Mind Blowwwwn as always :D
Your videos are very encouraging and motivating, thank you so much for being amazing. P.S. The film is astonishing, but I find BTS videos even more interesting !
As a scuba instructor myself, i would say that even with all the preparations with technical stuff, this is truly a dangerous project. Dcs, dci, narco, freezing temp, all related with compressed air could be fatal but seeing how safety measurement being taken(by Sam's narration), this is a truly well executed project, if not perfect. I'm glad you guys were all safe. Just awesome.
@@victorblondel1902 There are a lot of rules in scubadiving that overcompensate, like in this example, where the true danger is specifically in holding your breath AND ASCENDING. However we are taught as a general rule of thumb to never hold your breath wether you're going up or down despite the fact that from a scientifical standpoint there is actually little danger in holding your breath as you descend lower. That does not mean you should start to go around breaking these rules willy nilly (especially if you're not a trained professional) and start holding your breath, going on a flight 7 hours after a dive, ascending at 3m per minute, or ignoring the 3-5 safety stop. The reason why? because they HAVE TO overcompensate for the simple fact that diving is always an extremely dangerous sport. Even when you know your shit and do everything right, countless things can go wrong and situations can worsen extremely quicky when you’re down in the deep. A good friend of mine's uncle, Robert Palmer, was one of Britain's leading Technical Cave divers; he was a fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and was known for his exploration and documentation of the Blue Holes in the Bahamas. needless to say he was an expert with troves of experience. One day he went on a dive in egypt with a group of other experienced colleagues when they noticed he suddenly began to descend rapidly down into the blue. two of his colleagues raced down to reach him but were unable to, having dived down to 100m. They never recovered his body, or worked out what had gone wrong. The underwater world is beautiful, but cruel. so we make rules that are safe and double safe to minimise the chances of anything ever going wrong, but even then we are always at the mercy of the sea.
You’ve really inspired me to continue my RUclips channel after all these tough years. Can’t wait to look back and see it’s as big as yours one day. Thank man 🔥
Absoutely incredible, Sam. Didn't look away for one second from beginning to end, absolutely masterful storytelling and such an incredible experience. Loved this behind-the-scenes look just as much as the final film itself - you and Chelsea and Josiah and Sasha make such an epic team!
What good is sony's dynamic range if everything is graded into trump vision? All the skin tones are somewhere between carrot and orange, the rest is teal-puke.
Man this was just surreal. I love how you took us through the BTS journey. The context made all the difference. I bet if you hadn’t talked about the whole process, it would be impossible for an average viewer to know the struggle behind filming this short. Love the work mate 🙌🏽
@@MrJayParkez if im not wrong, they broke up n back together again, n then i don't know, kind of break up or just need time from each other,Sam went to Indonesia n chelsea stay in Hawai, but on December 2020 on Xmas he surprised her n they back together since then.. I swear im gonna cry if they break up again😬
Right there, deep down under if i was you, id have put a ring on her, sam. amazing film and such a great story telling. may you two stick together untill the end🙏🏽
Yall are so badass. This is awesome and it's so cool seeing you all pushing personal limits for the creative vision. This took a lot of planning, hard work, skill, dedication, and courage. Thank you for the inspiration! Also eating up #koldercreative
The film was gorgeous when I saw it first come out. And now, seeing how much work went in it behind the scenes, I am mind blown!! Amazing work like always!!
Divine content and very good story telling. Chelsea is a real woman and the level of effort and sacrifice she is giving in order to rendezvous with his man is next level. This is how it should be and I hope other females get inspired by your relationship and creation as well. 💫❤️🦋
This is the life I aspire for, the crazy adventurous ideas are the oxygen you guys breathe!! All the planning and the effort invested in this work are more than worth it, I felt amazing watching your journey and the short film ANGELITA afterwards! words cannot help me describing all this, I'd say as we say in Tunisia 'tniiik ferras' mind blowing.
Nicely done:) this reminded me of Guillaume Nery and Julie Gautier's film of Beyonce's Running. I'm a hobby diver and I'm amazed by all the preparations and trials with diving. I still remember the stiffness and shivering I felt while diving in Norway a few years back. Without a dedicated and professional team, life can be lost in such unnatural conditions to the human body. Respect 4 what you went through to finish the project. Great teamwork too:)
I have dived in this location back in 2017. How I wish I was diving, and you guys were there shooting. That would have been just wow. You could have used me as stunt double. Just saying 😋😋😋
Amazing behind the scenes man! What a shoot👌🏽
@Maple Why not cool?
Big fan of you guys.
**Goosebumps** I have never seen something so beautiful. And wishing Happy birthday underwater was the sweetest thing Chelsea did for Sam :)
waiting for the 2nd part of kashmir series sir! Big fan 🤩

Never mix free diving and scuba diving.
I thought we should NEVER hold our breath underwater when breathing from compressed air ?

All of the technical information, scuba related, were way of. I wonder if they even have their C-cards.
