Just wanna say this thing to fellow Indians is please, keep BTS and your future different from each other. Don't go and study something that is not even your interest but for the sake of Korea you might be doing it. Korean people themselves are traveling abroad for better education which shows us the reality as well. Loving BTS and kdramas is definitely the best thing but don't let that affect your real life. BTS chose the path because of their passion towards music and not because they were just obsessed with a particular language or with the country.
If you don't mind I would like to say something Actually there are some factors based on studying abroad 1. Education Not only korean student but students all over world want to study in abroad even US students also want to study abroad even though US has best educational systems , South Korea is one of the top-performing OECD countries in reading literacy, mathematics and sciences with the average student scoring about 519, compared with the OECD average of 493, placing it ninth in the world. The country has one of the world's highest-educated labour forces among OECD countries. 2. Culture - Korean culture is also most traditional culture after India nd also country is developed so a place where you get tradition as well as technology is very good 3. People - ofc. Just above in video they mentioned nature of Koreans so many times nd they really respect as well they will help you as much as possible 4. How much you know about country - yes if you really want to go korea you would read about korea for sure Nd you are saying that people are going korea for kdrama and kpop (BTS etc.) Then my dear you should know people know about a country through there ups and downs nd kpop and kdrama are very important factors in economic growth as well as tourism Nd for last , yes every country have there ups and downs same with korea AIR CONDITION OF KOREA IS REALLY BAD nd in your country there might be downs liek in my country INDIA - it is unsafe for girls , it's has bad air , genration gap , indian students are one of the most depressed students So let's just accpet you want to go in a country because of the their good thing Hope you would understand 🤦💜

Nowhere I said India is better than Korea or other countries etc. Going to Korea to learn Korean literature and then thinking that you might be preferred for a teacher's job over an original Korean speaker is ridiculous. It's an example of what I wanted to say. Though kpop and kdrama pay huge % to gdp of Korea, what good is it doing to your personal life though? This really inspired me so much for my dream.. I'm 16 now.. In 11th Grade.. I'm an Indian.. I'm studying science now.. And I'm not sure if I can go to study there or not , now ( parents permission u know) I will try my best.. I really love South Korea a lot.. To the people saying K-Pop or K-Drama should never be the reason to study in Korea, remember that something always has to be a gateway for you to get interested in a culture. Piyu, the girl from Mumbai in this video, got interested in Korea because of boyband TVXQ and KBS TV dramas, i know tons and tons of foreigners who study in India because of their love for Bollywood or indian dance and music, who's to say those are any less noble reasons to study abroad than say, money. Im sure a lot of K-Pop and K-Drama fans are watching this, if you realise that u probably wont meet your fave oppas in Korea and have THOROUGHLY researched the scope of your preferred major in Korea, India and elsewhere, then definitely go ahead and follow through with your dreams to study in Korea, fighting!

They- studying at korea in dormitory Me - my parents did not let me go to even Osmania University Hyderabad even though I am in Hyderabad. I really wanted to go to Osmania and worked hard to get enter the university and studied hard in 12 high school . I was very happy that I got 98% in my 12 so that I can enter University. At the moment my parents stopped me enter University as I have to stay just miles away from them, My dreams shattered and hardwork went vain 😔. Now I am 18nyears old and thinking y did I even wasted my precious past years only like a book worm who never enjoyed life. Now I am pursuing my degree in Loyola I thought at the least I can have a little fun in my end of teenage atleast but since it's lockdown my fun is also shattered even without making any friends.😭😭😭😭😭😭god y , y r u doing this to me . Like I would say India is a better option to study in than Korea but if you can't really make it in India US,UK, Singapore ate better than Korea, they are english speaking countries it would be much easier for you..for Arts I guess Korea is a good option like for Dance and Music except for them I think India is a better option..and I guess living cost is way to costly there and as a student you can even imagine, even the local people complain about it..but I guess it would good for tour not for settling there..there must be a reason why it was that popular forigen studies option even when we Indians have been traveling abroad for studying since a long time...and most of the times if you are studying science out of India its just cause you could not make it in the entrance exams and don't wanna waste one year..but I guess any average scorer in India good get into a prestigious college in India, cause our level of education is a bit higher i guess..

Every country has different aspects that may or may not be comfortable for a person going to study or stay in other country. Before going to another country a person has to love that country. The person must have the urge to know,love and (cope up) with that country's lifestyle,climate etc. Therefore these issues are not"Problems" but they should be written as " Adjustments".If some one is not comfortable in these adjustments, it's better to stay in their home country.

To the people saying K-Pop or K-Drama should never be the reason to study in Korea, remember that something always has to be a gateway for you to get interested in a culture. Piyu, the girl from Mumbai in this video, got interested in Korea because of boyband TVXQ and KBS TV dramas, i know tons and tons of foreigners who study in India because of their love for Bollywood or indian dance and music, who's to say those are any less noble reasons to study abroad than say, money. Im sure a lot of K-Pop and K-Drama fans are watching this, if you realise that u probably wont meet your fave oppas in Korea and have THOROUGHLY researched the scope of your preferred major in Korea, India and elsewhere, then definitely go ahead and follow through with your dreams to study in Korea, fighting!

Me - my parents did not let me go to even Osmania University Hyderabad even though I am in Hyderabad. I really wanted to go to Osmania and worked hard to get enter the university and studied hard in 12 high school . I was very happy that I got 98% in my 12 so that I can enter University. At the moment my parents stopped me enter University as I have to stay just miles away from them, My dreams shattered and hardwork went vain 😔. Now I am 18nyears old and thinking y did I even wasted my precious past years only like a book worm who never enjoyed life. Now I am pursuing my degree in Loyola I thought at the least I can have a little fun in my end of teenage atleast but since it's lockdown my fun is also shattered even without making any friends.😭😭😭😭😭😭god y , y r u doing this to me . I feel like my life is controlled by parents and situations. I think I am going to die without enjoying my teenage or even without making any memories 😭😭😭😭😭😭

Like I would say India is a better option to study in than Korea but if you can't really make it in India US,UK, Singapore ate better than Korea, they are english speaking countries it would be much easier for you..for Arts I guess Korea is a good option like for Dance and Music except for them I think India is a better option..and I guess living cost is way to costly there and as a student you can even imagine, even the local people complain about it..but I guess it would good for tour not for settling there..there must be a reason why it was that popular forigen studies option even when we Indians have been traveling abroad for studying since a long time...and most of the times if you are studying science out of India its just cause you could not make it in the entrance exams and don't wanna waste one year..but I guess any average scorer in India good get into a prestigious college in India, cause our level of education is a bit higher i guess..

Every country has different aspects that may or may not be comfortable for a person going to study or stay in other country. Before going to another country a person has to love that country. The person must have the urge to know,love and (cope up) with that country's lifestyle,climate etc. Therefore these issues are not"Problems" but they should be written as " Adjustments".If some one is not comfortable in these adjustments, it's better to stay in their home country.
