Yes me too I put Croatia instead Sweden to go in the final,cause the performance of Tusse was mediocre. His preformance on Melodifesivalen was so much better. Albina was great 😊

Problem for croatia in my opinion is that she basically had the same type of song as isreal, cyprus, azerbadzjan and malta and she was unfortunately the weakest one of these. She lost a lot of votes from fans of the genre to these other entries.

People who love these songs are more likely to vote for those other ones, resulting in croatia getting the short end of the stick and even being outvoted by sweden that might have had less fans of the genre but because it was the only one with this type of song it did receive all of those votes.

Croatia was one of my favourites and I was really sad that they didn't get through, personally I would take out Norway and put Croatia in, people are hyping up Norway but there were much better songs last night that should have gone through instead of Norway, I do respect Tix as an artist and he's talented but this song is just not it 😩

I was in the arena this afternoon (family show) and I have to say that the Croatian entry really stood out in the arena with all the lasers and lights. It was amazing. When I watched it on TV tonight it was still amazing but the vibe I felt that afternoon didn't come through on TV. Definitely deserved a spot though, so sad.. Also wanted Lesley in the final because I really felt her positive energy and her staging was really original and cool. I wish we had more final spots.

Semi final 2 is much more open but there are a handful of Good songs there so it's still gonna be hard. From semi final 2 i want Albania, Finland, Latvia, Ireland, Serbia and Moldova to go through 😍😍
She did. I have to be honest and say the Croatian song was weakest and most forgettable of the other similar songs (Azerbaijan, Cyprus , malta) but she is beautiful and has a great voice. She definitely deserved a spot over Sweden anyway
I think she had too much to focus on with the over-complicated staging and it took her focus away, she wasn’t connecting with her lyrics because she had too much to think about, and I think her vocals suffered as a result

Personally, I am very satisfied with the qualifiers, considering this semifinal was a bloodbath. I am soo happy for everyone who qualified, especially for TIX, and while I'm sad for the artists who didn't qualify, this was just a very emotional night, seeing Eurovision finally happening after 2 years and with public too!! I felt all the artists were very emotional tonight and in my opinion, it just was a very beautiful night for the Eurovision community all in all. ❤️

Two of my big favourites are out. One of them is Australia which I did not thought would make it to the final anyway but still I'm very upset. The other one is Croatia. I wasn't sure about their qualification but my optimism overweighed my pessimism. Devastated that it didn't go through. But I'm very happy for Belgium who I thought would stay in the semi final therefore it's balanced. This was such a tough semi final.
A few opinions there: Azerbaijan slayed staging , Russia slayed staging,Ukraine slayed staging, Belgium being classy,Israel whistle notes, Ireland is biggest disappointment for me ( almost without colours if you compare her staging to the rest of the semi entries, her singing wasn't great, she needed great support from her backing vocalists but i couldn't heard them sadly),N.Macedonia nice but not enough, Destiny claimed her ticket to the final, Lithuania, Cyprus , Norway as expected;Sweden ( unfair but juries+ people who are thinking that every entry that Sweden choose= top 5).....Romania lost on the stage, sadly i had good guts about Australia,unfortnately Slovenia without power gospel choir isn't good enough to fly to final. And Croatia- minute of silence for ESC fans.

I was very impressed with Belgium and Israel the most!! Well deserved. I feel bad for Albina and Ana the most actually. Malta and Russia already were epic, so they were 100% in the final.
Let's be real: Albina brought Superbowl to Rotterdam, she made everyone happy with this performance, one of the top 3 performances of the night. Her not being im the finals is beyond underrated. This performance screams eurovision. So sad she will not be in the finals which she deserved so much 🇭🇷💜
It's true. Out of the all the female dance-pop performers,charisma-wise she stands out the most. Her vocals never failed me. I hope Croatians are still very proud of her,it's just Europe underrating the Balkan countries.
I'm probably way off but I wonder if Norway was announced first to try and reduce the stress on Tix which would heighten his tourettes. On a similar note, I wonder if Iceland will be announced early on Thursday because Dadi's wife is pregnant.
Musically speaking, Belgium was by far the best. I liked Ukraine too, their performance was incredibly artistic. Everything else was quite forgettable.
Today I watched Go_A’s Kateryna’s ( Ukraine) interview. I didn’t realise she had such a terribly hard childhood. It turned out since she was 8 she and her mother where kicked out of the house they lived by her nice ( in the middle on night in the snow), had no place to live and stayed in a house with no windows where water would freeze during winter. She also almost died from a raptured tumour in her lungs and had part of her lungs removed . I couldn’t watch it without crying . I respect her on a totally different level now. Especially how she was telling the story of her life without any bitterness or self pity .
I think that Croatia should stop sending songs to Eurovision. Underrated always and forever... It just doesn't make any sense to send any Croatian song to Eurovision ever again...
Go Belgiuuuuum! I watched the Semi Final with my Roommates, who usually don‘t watch eurovision and their favourits were Lithuania, Ukraine, Croatia and Norway! Croatia deserved to go through instead of Sweden or Azerbaijan imo.
Ireland and Australia were my no.1 and 2 this year before rehearsals totally understand why Ireland didn’t make it with the vocals but I’m so gutted about Australia since despite Montaigne being a bit awkward she has such a good performance.
Ok, before announcing Belgium, I was really scared, I wanted Belgium and Croatia and I was so sure Croatia would have gone through and that I was the only one to love Belgium. I am so devastated for Albina 😭

I genuinely cried when Ireland didn't qualify. Like full on balled my eyes out. Vocals could be improved but staging was an absolute masterpiece with its hand drawn style and stuff...I WISHED it qualified but it didn't.
Wow im not even a swede, but there is a reason why there are so many popular swedish producers and songwriters, they are just amazing at it. I'm also devastated about Croatia, she killed it. But there is no reason to take Sweden down for this.

Yeah, in the first semi are 13 songs, that deserving a final spot. Second semifinal are most likely only 7 or 8 songs. But don't forget that it isn't always all about the finals. We all are blessed every year with so much wonderful songs, and can listen to them how often we want to. Thx to all participants every year.
A friendly reminder: if a song didn’t qualify, it simply means it was less liked by the televoters and juries, than the other songs. Everyone who made it to the final deserves to be there. I’m sorry if your favourite didn’t make it, and I know it’s frustrating, but there’s no reason to bring other artists down.

Cyprus, Croatia, Israel, and Azerbaijan all in the same semifinal, it was always going to be a very very tall order for all 4 upbeat young female performers to qualify out of 10, sad for Croatia
@@ivanalesic8133 The balkans have been underrated for years now, which is sad. Croatia having a song that is loved by many people this year since 2010s is a great achievement for them already. It would've been a great Croatian comeback if Albina qualified IMO.

Personally, I am very satisfied with the qualifiers, considering this semifinal was a bloodbath. I am soo happy for everyone who qualified, especially for TIX, and while I'm sad for the artists who didn't qualify, this was just a very emotional night, seeing Eurovision finally happening after 2 years and with public too!! I felt all the artists were very emotional tonight and in my opinion, it just was a very beautiful night for the Eurovision community all in all. ❤️

Two of my big favourites are out. One of them is Australia which I did not thought would make it to the final anyway but still I'm very upset. The other one is Croatia. I wasn't sure about their qualification but my optimism overweighed my pessimism. Devastated that it didn't go through. But I'm very happy for Belgium who I thought would stay in the semi final therefore it's balanced. This was such a tough semi final.
A few opinions there: Azerbaijan slayed staging , Russia slayed staging,Ukraine slayed staging, Belgium being classy,Israel whistle notes, Ireland is biggest disappointment for me ( almost without colours if you compare her staging to the rest of the semi entries, her singing wasn't great, she needed great support from her backing vocalists but i couldn't heard them sadly),N.Macedonia nice but not enough, Destiny claimed her ticket to the final, Lithuania, Cyprus , Norway as expected;Sweden ( unfair but juries+ people who are thinking that every entry that Sweden choose= top 5).....Romania lost on the stage, sadly i had good guts about Australia,unfortnately Slovenia without power gospel choir isn't good enough to fly to final.

Let's be real: Albina brought Superbowl to Rotterdam, she made everyone happy with this performance, one of the top 3 performances of the night. Her not being im the finals is beyond underrated. This performance screams eurovision. So sad she will not be in the finals which she deserved so much 🇭🇷💜
It's true. Out of the all the female dance-pop performers,charisma-wise she stands out the most. Her vocals never failed me. I hope Croatians are still very proud of her,it's just Europe underrating the Balkan countries.

I'm probably way off but I wonder if Norway was announced first to try and reduce the stress on Tix which would heighten his tourettes. On a similar note, I wonder if Iceland will be announced early on Thursday because Dadi's wife is pregnant.
Musically speaking, Belgium was by far the best. I liked Ukraine too, their performance was incredibly artistic. Everything else was quite forgettable.
Croatia has also a place in my heart because of best football in Europe.

Today I watched Go_A’s Kateryna’s ( Ukraine) interview. I didn’t realise she had such a terribly hard childhood. It turned out since she was 8 she and her mother where kicked out of the house they lived by her nice ( in the middle on night in the snow), had no place to live and stayed in a house with no windows where water would freeze during winter. She also almost died from a raptured tumour in her lungs and had part of her lungs removed . I couldn’t watch it without crying . I respect her on a totally different level now. Especially how she was telling the story of her life without any bitterness or self pity .
Can you give me a link for it? I want to watch it. It really must've been hard for her.

Ireland and Australia were my no.1 and 2 this year before rehearsals totally understand why Ireland didn’t make it with the vocals but I’m so gutted about Australia since despite Montaigne being a bit awkward she has such a good performance.

I genuinely cried when Ireland didn't qualify. Like full on balled my eyes out. Vocals could be improved but staging was an absolute masterpiece with its hand drawn style and stuff...I WISHED it qualified but it didn't.

Belgium: class, style, elegance, fitting vibe creation, great song, great singing, great reputation, x-factor Geike, Johnny.would.be.proud. I can’t see this winning because it lacks ‘blown awayness’, but Eurovision needs these kinds of acts to get high scores to stay credible and relevant
Lithuania: not a classic, but we need this right now
Malta: it looks like a gorgeous beautiful delicious pie but when you actually bite in it, it doesn’t taste all that good
Russia: liking the beat very much, a little distracted with all that’s going on, and sadly her message gets lost a bit when she raps in Russian. Biggest problem I have here is that what Russia tries to represent isn’t wat their government is all about so I’m a bit confused and don’t know how to interpret it.
Sweden: good song, good moves, bad styling, worst singing
Norway: good song, cheap staging (as in ‘hmmm we sing about angels and demons, let’s dress up like that and we can stop thinking about it’), TIX loves attention a little bit too much

Yeah, in the first semi are 13 songs, that deserving a final spot. Second semifinal are most likely only 7 or 8 songs.
But don't forget that it isn't always all about the finals. We all are blessed every year with so much wonderful songs, and can listen to them how often we want to. Thx to all participants every year.

A friendly reminder: if a song didn’t qualify, it simply means it was less liked by the televoters and juries, than the other songs. Everyone who made it to the final deserves to be there. I’m sorry if your favourite didn’t make it, and I know it’s frustrating, but there’s no reason to bring other artists down.
