This model is advertised as the world's first high capacity toner tank that will save thousands of dollars on printing black and white materials, perfect for small businesses and home offices.
They also claim it has the lowest cost of ownership for any laser printer in its class. HP designed the Neverstop printer to print thousands of pages right out of the box - up to 5,000 pages. We had to check it out!
The HP toner reload kit has 2,500 more pages worth of toner and only costs around $16, which is much cheaper than other types of toner. This device can print at 21 pages per minute, which is fast compared to other models. It connects to the HP smart app, which allows you to command the printer from different devices.
For example, you can scan files with your phone, and then share them to the cloud, email, or printer.
After seeing all of the features this model advertises, we were curious to see how it would stand up to real use in an office.

Here is what we found when we tested the HP Neverstop printer:
It's a large and powerful laser printer that is simple and requires minimal maintenance. It has a large toner capacity, that doesn't require frequent cartridge changing. The paper tray is large, so you can print large documents without having to manually feed in more paper.
The HP Neverstop is on the higher end of the price range, costing around $330. Considering the price point and huge capacity, this printer is best for a mid-sized office that needs to efficiently print a lot of black and white pages. It is perfect for a law office, or a home with several students.
To test the high capacity functionality, we had the machine print an entire 1,000-page textbook in one sitting. The printer got the job done with only a few brief pauses to reload the paper and every couple of hundred pages when it seemed to overheat a bit. After a few minutes rest, it kicked back into gear.
The quality was consistent from the beginning to the end of the job, and it only used up a small amount of the total toner capacity. We also sent printing jobs from across the city and found that the documents were printed when we returned to the office.
Overall, the HP Neverstop Laser Printer is a powerful and user-friendly office printer, ideal for a company that prints a lot of black and white documents. Here are the cons: we have very few complaints about this printer. Black and white printing can be limiting if you also need to print color. Printing double-sided pages is manual, so you will have to flip each page.
