Very nice video, i have used all of these methods before except the first. This looks very interesting and effective. I will definitely be trying this method.
Very nice. In the 1st case how did you manage to change the water in the food container, Obviously you would have changed the water instead of just topping with more water. Atleast once a week you have to replace it with fresh water, if not the cutting will rot.
Thank you very much! You asked a very good question and I should've addressed this in the video. Missed it because I did exactly the way you said. Only topping with more water as soon as the water was reaching bottom of the pot. Whenever I propagate plants in water, in 99% cases I do the same even though it's better to change the water. Agree, we may not get 100% successful result and in this case, only 2 didn't root. They turned yellow and was about to rot. As soon as I spot them, removed them immediately. As I didn't change water, you can see lots of Algae in the roots at 4:18
Wow very interesting Here green pothos plant is $1, pothos with white+green leaves is $2,5, silver pothos is $3. I like maranta tricolor (praying plant) leaves, because it has green, white and red color in its leaves.
Glad you liked it and Thank you very much for your feedback! Almost same..($1 = 82 INR) Even I liked Maranta tricolor too...but honestly saying, very difficult to grow and care for, specially in my place :-(
@GardeningUpbeat mine died. I didn't care for it in a right way. Later I read that it grows well in peat moss. I tried to revive it, it did feel better in peat moss, but the remained part was too small and it died finally.
Sure, we can...but after some months, you might have to add some more to the soil mix as they would get decomposed over time. It's not 100% mandatory to use Perlite. We can also use sand..but it's better, if we can add. Make the potting mix really soft and airy.
How much manure? Does the plant require a lot of humidity? Was it happening before or after the manure was added? I saw this question so I fig I'd ask.
It's not exactly covering..if we don't keep something with uneven surfaces, the soil or roots would eventually block the drainage wholes. Plus, water drains out much faster while we keep some object on the drainage holes. Please note, it's not completely blocking and that is why I said "uneven surface". Thank you and you can try it once!
Very nice sharing 👍🏻👍🏻🤗🤗
Thank you! 🤗

Very nice. Is this method applicable for broken heart also.
Thank you very much! Sure, applicable to all plants that can be grown on Moss stick or those which have aerial roots.
@@GardeningUpbeat Thank you very much

🌹🌹🌹🌹!!!! Can we substitute perlite with same % of rice husk ?

Hi grading upbeat my flower leaves are drying I don’t why despite putting manure help me pls

@DanielAbraham-sc2py, Can you please specify which plants?
@ habicos
Why are you covering the drainage hole with rocks?

One thing i have realised, more than fertilizer location of this plant matter the most
Agree with you...not only Pothos, most of the indoor plants mostly focus on lighting and location..
