I bought mine yesterday at Best Buy, they are great, I’m so impressed. I was worried about the quality of the calls and I have no complaints. I’m a new shokz fan.
“Partnering” with the company means this is not a review. This an unboxing, and a sponsored one at that. Be clear about what is a “review” and what is sponsored. Reviews should be an opinion piece, detailing your usage, describing pros and cons of a product, and all without the possibility of your opinion being influenced by the company that made it. You may have given your true feelings here, but how can we trust that if you also got paid to make the video?
Thanks Kevin, just awaiting delivery of my new OpenFfit Air. Already a Shokz user with both bone conduction and original Openfit. Great choice. Bill from Scotland
The mics are kinda crazy! Been watching quite a lot of headphone reviews lately and these are impressive. Is it because it's not sharing mics/processing with noise cancellation or just superior hardware? If they sound good too, I may have to look into if I can get them here!
@@dundundun4242 I hope kevin does do well because he puts in the work. The point is if you switch from a popular tutorial channel to a steady stream of sponsored video and product reviews, it may have unintended consequences. 🤷♂️
Thanks for the note. I genuinely appreciate the feedback as it helps me understand how the content is being received. I've had more sponsored content recently, although the goal is to provide valuable and informative content that helps viewers. Sponsored videos allow me to continue creating content and improving the channel. However, I hear the feedback on leaning too heavily in that direction and will re-evaluate the balance, so the majority of the videos remain focused on the tutorials and topics that brought you all here in the first place. Again, appreciate the feedback!
@@KevinStratvert Hey Kevin, Thanks, and for the record. I’m not trying to be a jerk, or the enemy. Rather stating that it seems your recent posts have been an abrupt, noticeable shift…. and that could sour some people. Some suggestions if I may. Perhaps create a “State of Kevin Statvert video” where you talk about some behind the scenes happenings, and that you will be creating more sponsored content. Think of it as giving people a heads up since it’s better to pre-empt than just implement. Or, perhaps, create a brand-new channel where you post videos dedicated to sponsored content, and/ or product videos. Similar to what the Critical Drinker did a while back. He started a gaming review channel completely separate from his main channel. He made the announcement on his main channel and the ones interested in gaming content subscribed to the new one. The idea being you can easily gets thousands of subs from your main channel, of which would be interested in just the review side of things. And I’m totally cool with you making major bank given all the hard work you’ve done. Just don’t want to see everything implode. Hope this helps 🙏
Kevin I love the great educational videos you do hence the reason to subscribe your channel I wonder if this is a paid advertising or you're making a move to change your channel to a shop. $120 for a headphone? I don't think %5 of your subscribers afford it🤪 I hope you will explain thanks
I googled Shokz discount code and was able to get these online for 15% using code “sarah15”. If you order from Shokz you get a free case for the headphones. I was able to save about $18 with the code. In total paid $110 compared to picking them up from Best Buy for $129 with taxes and all without the case. Just thought I would help you out if you interested.
For many things that's spot on, but if you get value out of them, it's a worthy investment. Think of buying a PC for work. It depreciates but you get value from it.
Nice resume ! I will bought them on Black Friday. Or better tomorow. They are on sale $ 99 at Amazon. I practice amateur cycling so I'm very excited to used them. Hope I can also change my iPhone 7 ( I know, its old ) to a 14 - 16. Greetings from the land of the best coffee in the world, Colombia !

Exactly!!
🙌Thanks,Kevin, for this awesome review!
I just wanted to let you know, every time I need a ‘how to’ electronic you always come through. I search you for everything. Such a useful source.
Great Job Kevin. I always love your presentations. Keep it up
I love my shokz headphones. May try these. ❤

That mic sound is pretty good.
I like the concept of these headphones. Thanks for the in dept review
You said nothing about the actual sound quality. How's the bass response, does it sound tinny, etc.
check out the @regancipher review. He included binaural recordings so you can actually hear what they sound like
I wonder how compatible they are with eyeglasses. I bought wrap arounds before and I had to return them due to the fit with my glasses.
Don’t see your link to purchase
The microphones sound pretty good, usually headphones microphones sound pretty terrible. But these shocked me.
Can they function as hearing aids for those with mild hearing loss? Is there an equalizer to boost or filter out certain frequencies?
Luv your work, yet gotta ask. Noticed a trend of you promoting and pitching products. That the move you wanna make?
Cmon man, let the man earn some money he deserves it

Are there any controls that click "Skip the ad?" I am dead serious. Thank you!
bought this openfit air a week a go, the sound is so small when you wear it outdoor :( , i prefer bone conduction technology rather than open ear

I feel the same, and commented above. He can run his channel however he wants, yet the risk of becoming a sellout is starting to emanate.
I figured you'd have a link to buy them and possibly a discount code? I guess not.

Regarding the OpenFit ear buds by Shokz...Can you use one ear bud at a time and still have all the functionally of using both?
Yes I just picked them up and you can use the individually.
They are a consumable that decreases in value. They are not an investment.
For many things that's spot on, but if you get value out of them, it's a worthy investment. Think of buying a PC for work. It depreciates but you get value from it.
What? What headphones are you considering as "investment" :D
What are some things that you thought could be improved?
I figured they don’t ship to Canada
The price is 120$
Oh my god!!!
I would buy it of they do ship to Saudi Arabia. It is 2024 and brands don’t appreciate that they can profit from around the world.
The amount of times the word "headphones" is being used 😩😩
Wireless headphones will certainly increase chances of getting brain damage or cancer.
😂
