How Rhoynars Came to Westeros? History of Rhoynars in Game of Thrones

The third and final group to migrate en masse to Westeros were the Rhoynar, a people whose origins lay along the mighty river Rhoyne in Essos. They revered the river, often referring to it as their mother, and established their most significant settlements on its banks. Each subsequent city was more beautiful than the last, flourishing with music and art. However, these cities operated independently, each governed by its own prince or princess, as women held equal status to men in Rhoynar society.
