the mother is so emotionally manipulative. her husband has basically become a pet to her because she puts up a tantrum and he doesn’t want to deal with it. poor guy. the mother is ruining the family.

Actually this is the dynamic of my parents as well. My mother is acts irrationally or throws a tantrum, and my father will just go along with it and and enable her behavior he just so there isn’t confrontation. Even if she is completely wrong or acting completely crazy. It’s really frustrating to live with. Sometimes I feel bad for my father, but at the same time over all these years they’ve been married he has completely enabled my mothers bad attitude, irrational behavior and built this dynamic with her.
Much probably like how this husband enables her bad behavior by being complacent
