Having your meter set at 200 worked to your benefit. I set my 400 speed film to 200 all the time to brighten things up a bit. Nice video and great photos!

I found one of these at a flea market about a month ago for $5 (yes, that was the actual price, not a meme price). It's my first film camera in probably over 30 years, and I learned halfway through the first reel after getting back my shots that I needed to replace the light seals, which were non existent (I had fat white stripes on the top and bottom of the scanned negs). So not only did I get to come back to film, I also got a chance to learn how to replace light seals!

ohhh nice! $5 is an amazing price! I haven't had to replace light seals yet, but I also don't really mind light leaks. It does sound annoying though if it was giant white stripes on the top and bottom! Plus, it's always fun to learn how to repair vintage cameras! Thanks so much for watching! :)

Dear Myles. Unfortunately i don't remember the brand, but i called a similar my first camera my own. So simple to handle and use.I was annoyed as well, wenn the flash got weaker with the battery and i wasn't able as well to see what film was inside.
Nazare is such a nice and smal costal town, with it's several historical buildings and churches. The tram so cool. And of course a cat. 😊 (in Lisbon) The coffeehouse combined clothing store with it's half rounded windows. Really wunderful.
The detour to Lisbon suggested itself. The distance between Nazare and Lisbon is not that far. Even more wunderful if you were able to visit your sister in law giving it a familly touch. The igrejda de Santa Clara is really impressive. Thank you for sharing your wunferful impressions and pics. Guess i should put Nazare on my travel List. I'm looking forward to part 2.

Vinegar works good on battery corrosion too. Just a few minutes. Love this camera, makes you look like a tourist when shooting it too. Oh, if nobody has mentioned it yet, I think the dark corner on the photo was from the camera strap getting in the way.
