  • The amplifier on transistors is very easy to assemble. The output amplifier on transistors is fundamentally different from the input or the preliminary one. The main differences are the relatively large power consumption and low output impedance. Therefore, special circuit solutions are used to meet the above requirements. Passing the history of the development of tube and transistor amplifiers, let us dwell on the output amplifier circuit, which at the present time has become most widespread. It uses two transistors of different semiconductor structure, included in the scheme with a common collector. This circuit is called push-pull, since only one transistor operates every half-cycle. In order to reduce the transient distortion, called the "step", both transistors are slightly opened slightly by means of a voltage drop across the diodes.
