Nice job LSV. You had a nice local man help show you around. Makes me want to go back to Th. to try diff food. Looks like Koh Samui has a totally diff vibe than Bangkok. Thumbs up to you for trying durian!
Thank you! Having a local person with you to show you around is a must in my opinion, as you experience a new country through the eyes of a local and not through the eyes of a tourist. The vibe of Bangkok is completely different indeed. During this trip, I created content there as well. It will published in the next few months. Durian has become one of my favorite fruits. Have tried different quality levels and I love the texture and flavor. I still don't think it is stinky haha! It does have a strong smell though so maybe that is why it is known as the stinky fruit.
I think when traveling to another country you should the treat people as they were treated in this video. And never treat them as if you are better which I have seen or thought I seen in videos made by others. The guide was honest hard working and knowledgeable. I enjoyed this travel video.
Thank you for your thoughtful comment! I completely agree that treating people with respect and kindness when traveling to another country is so important. It's all about embracing different cultures and being open-minded. I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
@@luxsolovoyager HUH? In this video you're on a guided tour of a common market. What's not touristy here? There are a thousand videos on YT just like this.
@@steverosse I am not on a guided tour. This man is a local man driving for a car hire company. I asked him to accompany me in this local market to try their food and help me communicate with the vendors. This market is not a common touristy market. I am the ONLY tourist there. Everyone else is local.
@@luxsolovoyager Search for "Thailand Market." There are already dozens of videos of the exact same thing. And the driver was giving you a tour. He was your guide. Thus, it was a guided tour. And the title is still blatant click bait that has nothing to do with the video. I still maintain that to do that takes courage. Again, I salute you.
