Gave me some perspective on some very great ideas on custom building ours, I also like the idea of your tire and wheel set up along with just about everything else you did. Good job, glad I ran across your video and seeing it from Texas.
Excellent job! I love it! Perfect to keep the wind off you, heater to help even more, able to remove windows & doors, tires that you can ride on the road without wearing tread out!! Great thought into this!
I live in NC and inherited my small family farm. We were looking for something that I could use out there and I ran across an 06 rhino that had not been modded out. I like the way you did yours a lot. I’m a fabricator myself and I’m going to be building stuff for mine. This is a pretty slick little unit you have. I have younger grandkids, so a back seat is definitely in order. Much love to you guys 🤙🤙
I'm glad I could give you some ideas to improve yours. Good luck with it. Oh I used a conduit bender on the door frames and bought raw steel tube in the same size as conduit so I could weld and paint.
I bought some (ABS Black Plastic Sheet .060 - 1/16" x 48" x 72” Textured 1 Side Vacuum Forming) supper durable just Drill and pop rivet it on and it looks pro! Lasts a lot longer than canvas! You could easily switch your canvas over to this being you got the frame done.
Great customizing buddy! NOT nitpicking your work...just a few comments...We've 've got a 07 and love it...the motor is stock but we aren't wanting to go 90 in a side by side, we're happy just cruisin...We also added some mods and cosmetics. Your rope winch cord will work with breaks but I would go ahead and fit it with a cable, all sizes available at great prices at Harbor Freight. Your jeep heater is awesome, I fit ours with my own box behind the radiator and installed a inline fan for 4 inch PVC and ducted it right into the floor between our feet...not as good as your's but works. Your 15 inch tires with the mod on the rim's to work is GREAT...just a little advise on your rear spacers, way back when we put custom rims with oversized tires on ours and we just had to replace all 4 wheel bearings...3 of them were real bad, keep an eye on yours, especially the rear ones. Again...GREAT WORK...thanks for showing it!
I'm looking for a rhino for trail riding. Your setup is really nice . I use a flat strap for plowing, I just just store a synthetic cable for trail riding in the trunk, that 80 angle off the fairlead will snap metal and synthetic ropes but with the flat strap having a smaller min radius it works well
If your winch rope is breaking at the knot it's because it is not supposed to be tied with a knot. It is supposed to be looped and splice with a fid. It will not break then.
nice job.... to get rid of the faded color on your plastics . mix 60% thinner and 40% boiled linseed oil . mix very well and apply in a circular motion with a soft rag. if it is to heavy try rubbing it with steel wool number 0000. grettings from El Salvador
Great mods! I just bought a 2007 Rhino and I'm looking to make some mods. Currently it just clicks when trying to start. Battery? I hope that's all it is. Can you tell me where you got the rear fender flares and the floor console?
Awesome wood stove open and you have a fire place i have a homemade utv similar to a Yamaha Rhino my dads looks similar to a Polaris Ranger mine is camouflage both was built before Side by Sides and UTVs was ever made
Love it,, that is sweet. Wish I had one just like it, for real Getting old an need to plow the driveway I'm getting a 2006 rhino this week Nov 6-7 18 , love to have the heater, Could you please tell me what major problem you have had, what goes bad on 06 rhinos Thank you very much
The biggest problem is it's a carb not fuel injection. For work around home it was fine. Trail ridding it was a different story. They like to over heat because there jetted to lean and they will over heat and vapor lock. Very frustrating. I sold the machine about 6 months ago. Thanks for watching.

Your air intake looks modified. Is the air box in the consul? I could not see the intake vents. also, I see you have a 32 Roadster body. Making a street rod or a driver?
I ran the air intake up to the front under the hood for more fresh air and less nose. 29' body building a blown flathead for it. I have videos of the ford build.
I tried to run an intake under the hood but it ran like crap and I did not want to start jetting. I tried with first vacuum hose then went to 2.5 inch. It acted goofy at mid to hi rpm. I will check out the roadster. Thanks. If you get time can you do one on the air induction? I have one on electric fuel pump.
Sorry I do not remember the size off hand. Maybe I mentioned it in the video somewhere. They where 28.5 tall with about 8 psi of air in them. Hope this helps

Very nice work. As a fabricator of 26+ years-very clean and sleek! Love the fab work on fitting the wheels. Keep up the great work.
I have a 660 and have to say incredible build. Definitely will follow your suit for the paint, heater, and canvas!!

Glad I could help somehow

fantastic work! looks Really sharp.

Nice job nothing better than building it yourself
That is one purpose built Rhino. Really impressed with the wheel work. Gutsy, I say.
Garage door insulation would work nice in those doors
Good idea

I love the doors, we might have to do some Rzr doors as I've never cared for any that are on the market today.
TheDillio187 custom is always best!!

What did you use for the rear seat?
Bought one off of Ebay for a Yamaha Rhino rear seat
Hi. Nice rhino. What kind of windshield do you have for your rhino ?
I just used some left over plexiglass from another project. I used great care when cleaning it so not to scratch it.
@@toddclyne3493 thank you.
Nice machine
