Hello, I hope you are having a beautiful and creative day. I sent the day in my sewing room too and now I get to sit and watch you while I hand quilt. I hope you have a fabulous week ahead. Thank you for your time and posting this video!
I just enjoy watching your videos !! I haven’t gotten the courage to even try to make a quilt square, let alone a quilt top. But you sure do make me want to .❤️❤️🥰
Becky, just go for it! Once you do you’ll want to learn more!!! And the more you do, the more you learn & the better you’ll become! Try a table runner or a hot pad - just go for it!!!
YOU CAN make a block, and a quilt!! Today’s quilters have so many tools that just weren’t around when I learned to quilt from my grandmother. We had Kansas City star patterns, newspapers to trace the pattern on, a pair of scissors. and in my case, a treadle machine!!
Thankyou for the tips! I know it has it's downsides but I've started pressing seams open on pinwheels to reduce the bulk and using my slotted trimmer to square up the triangles.
Thanks for giving us these tips !! ✌🏻♥️
Thank you, Rob for the great reminders!
Rob perfect video to may pinwheel problem. the bulk was an issue. thanks for assuring me it is part of the process.
Thanks so much for this video! I'm getting ready to make a pinwheel quilt and this was perfect timing!
Brilliant has always, always learning from you. Thank you. Dave uk
Thanks, Rob!

Thanks! Just the refresher I needed. Currently working in HST.
Informative and useful, as always. Thanks Rob.
This honestly came one day too late for me....however, now I will know the right way!
Very helpful Rob, thanks.

I also found spraying a little water makes it easy to open then press
WOW!!
Would you do a tutorial for an ON POINT quilt?. Love your videos!!
Thank you
Love your videos. Im learning how to quilt and I watch all you videos. Can you do one on how to square a diamond shape ( 60* angles). Thanks.
My opinion is that the Martelli rulers with the fussy cut windows are the perfect rulers for squaring blocks of any kind
Hi rob. From Santa Maria ❤️❤️
You could also measure from the center line out
Is this live?
Do you press OPEN that last seam - the one that joins the two rows of blocks? If you press it to one side, it will be too bulky on that side, right?
I want to know how to make the quilt behind you?!!
