  • Voge R125 review. The perfect beginner motorcycle? In the uk you can ride one of you are 17 years old or older. All you need is a provisional driving licence and have completed a CBT. This bike at £2799 is really good value and should definitely be considered for your first bike or if you are looking at down sizing for something a bit lighter.

      Im a big lad and had 74mph out of it. Thats including having a heavy laptop bag (with large work laptop and security chain) on my back. Im not so bothered about the top speed, the pull away from standing is the most impressive. Most other 125cc with my grizzly arse on it felt sluggish when pulling off@@GillyBikes

    It's a nice looking bike, i own the cb125r and the frame and exhaust remind me of mine. Anyway not taking anything away from that one as it looks good. I like the display more than my cb tho, colours! Still, being in my mid 40s lol i prefer analog. If people like me can get past the stigma of none Japanese or rated branded bikes, you will be getting a lot of a 125 for under 3k! this Voge has 11kw which is on par with most top 125 bikes. My cb125r is a 2018 plate so it's only 9.7kw. I think that only matters past 60 and or drag racing lol.. I guess im comparing to my old 125 bikes like my cg125.. I can get away from lights or junctions so much better. I'd assume this would do that even faster!

    • @GillyBikes
      @GillyBikes  11 месяцев назад +2

      It’s a great bike that’s for sure. I think voge wants to compete with the big boys with this bike. I think it will do well as long as people give the brand a go. Voge are an established brand but very new to the uk and a lot of people will need convincing.

    • @pthornley1981
      @pthornley1981 11 месяцев назад

      I think current owners have bought at the right time. These bikes are worth way more than £3k otr. As they are relatively new to the UK, would imagine once word gets round, the prices will go up. Current price is an absolute steal. I've had the more established Japanese bikes at double the price and this Voge feels streets ahead with the styling, the dash, full ABS and the power (for a 125) and the LED lights and strips on the fuel tank are the icing on the cake@@GillyBikes

      It’s a fair question. For the uk they are brand new but the company have been trading in other parts of the world for years. Everything I’ve seen about them is positive. They make engines for BMW and Kawasaki. I was that impressed I bought a Voge 300 rally.

      This is nowhere near as good as the bulletproof, tried and tested honda CB125f. I have one with the old needle clocks which I prefer being 57, but nobody knows how reliable this new vogue is.

    • @GillyBikes

      @loonytoon4921 they have been in the uk for 1 year and I’ve not heard anything bad. I myself bought a Voge 300 rally and it’s been used and abused over the last year. I still love it and it’s still going strong with no issues. What I would say is when you buy a new bike you generally get a nice long warranty. I’m pretty sure Voge come with a 2 year warranty so any issues and it gets fixed for free. if you buy a second hand bike at best you might get a 3 month warranty. It all depends On what your plan is? Are you planning on keeping a 125 For a few years? Are you planning on keeping it a year? If you’re planning on going for a big bike or just using a bike until you pass a car test then I would look for something that won’t lose to much money.
