Gotta appreciate how they went with the same musical style as Thorium & Sprit with keeping it sounding vanilla despite the stunning visuals
Pretty sure that's because the artists making them are the same, Salvati and Sbubby.
Yeah in my opinion these two particularly salvatati are THE best musical composers for terraria mods. Calamity is a whole different vibe so their music is great too! But spirit and starlight being my two favourite mods will make a fun playthrough together as I think they’d mesh quite well

@@id1550 Spirit is available for 1.4.3!! It just recently managed to port and now they are working on a hardmode update while waiting for tmodloader 1.4.4 to come out of its beta to finally port it there i think
This is what terraria bosses SHOULD be like imo, ive always felt kind of dissapointed with them, both in vanilla and in calamity. These arent just big enemies, these are legit boss battles. The mod is still in alpha, theres still more to come, and im honored to be able to say one of the lead programmers is a friend of mine and a really cool dude
this mod really feels like something else, everything is just stunning, really makes you wonder what the future of terraria modding is gonna be like
Gotta admit that Terraria Evolution was insane. From a goofy ahh eye that floats to a Hollow Knight Boss pasing to stuff like the Echo Mechs. Man Minecraft-only players would be envy if they don't have stuff like this.

This seems more cold and calculated than normal terraria bosses , the bosses in this aren't sporadic in their movements and they specifically target you with attacks that aren't area of affect, the music does them justice.
Sadly terraria will only get less and less mods after this.
Honestly, with how this mod looks, I think you were very right with clarifying in the title that it is, in fact, a terraria mod. Can't wait to see what they will do with hardmode.

I'm a little sad that this requires you play the 1.4.4 TMod beta, but I'm still ecstatic to see such a great mod finally coming to recent versions.
Tbh i like the 1.4.4 beta more than 1.4.3 and to me this is an improvement despite the bugs and crashes

@@thegoldenraysoftheglorious1180 there are so many QoL mods that are incompatible (most notably dash hotkeys, magic storage, alchemist npc and recipe browser) that simply dont work on tmod 1.4.4. its really annoying.
@@broohmygod yes but that is just because they haven't been ported yet. What I am saying is that I love the qol stuff that is provided in 1.4.4 even more than thr qol mods for 1.4.3
@@thegoldenraysoftheglorious1180 yeah, i know how long tmod ports take. my point is that i much prefer what mods we have on 1.4.3 than 1.4.4’s QoLs. i really doubt that VITAL improvements to the game like the aforementioned dash keybind (and other content mods) are inferior than some 1.4.4 changes. who knows? some mods may not even make the port. sure - if you really like 1.4.4 then i guess theres no changing opinions

The mod keeps improving and I see a bright future for starlight river. The quality is insane and there are so many great mechanics to these bosses. Lovely visuals and music too!
I was scrolling on my phone and the video started autoplaying, for the first 20 seconds (until I checked the title) I wasn't sure what game it was. Absolutely stunning!

From what I understand, they're dropping it in big parts. It's already "fully released," technically, but they haven't touched anything in hard mode yet... which will most likely be their next step. The current release actually took a surprisingly fast time to come out.

The theme for the auroroacle is the most bad ass and banger theme ive heard for any terraria boss
Personally this mod is the peak Terraria. IDK if anything can top it at this point. I don't think Calamity is even as close to this level (Personally loved Calamity for the content)
The presentation alone is enough for me to say this is what could have been Terraria 2. This is the only mod where it step outside the boundaries and pushed it to it absolute limit. Truly this is giving me hype.

This looks good, but even though the quality of visuals is on the same level as infernum or astrageldon 2.0, I really want to see the harder bosses in the mod because the good visuals just don't feel as impactful without the entire screen blinding you

Those bosses handed my sorry ass to me several times, but it was basically just way easier when i learned their patterns, feels a lot like dark souls, and it isn't THAT ridiculously unbalanced either, it's really fun

The fact that normal enemies can continue to spawn in during the Ceiros fight and can sometimes even get into the arena seems really annoying.

@@meepmopx1841 Yeah, idk how they let that through. There is also how the 3D effect for the Glassweaver glitched, leaving it just floating in the air.
The only problem with this mod is that it's literally better than the base game, like imagine fighting a boss like one of these and going back to Eater Of Worlds, not to mention that this is probably never going to work in Multiplayer normally

So what is this mod about? Are this boss arenas placed somewhere in the world? Can it be destroyed or you finally have to fight on cool, balanced and well prepared by developers arena?
