Everyday feels like a war with myself. The psychological effects my childhood has had on me has been daunting. I’m always stressed and anxious over minor things about myself and lately ive been depressed. I know you made a video and one thing you mentioned is that the less you accept yourself the more distress you’re going to experience, but its been so hard. Mixed with perfection its been very hard. If you can make a video or give any pointers thatll be greatly appreciated. Thank u ❤️

You can NOT modify what narcissist's have done but only deliberately forget which I'm NOT doing ! For me it's walking & praying & I know to do this so that would make me bad to me to not love myself.......................... You are good to yourself if you'd happen to love yourself!

You surpass my counselors; I would ask for this information and received more of a Rogerian approach which wasn't helpful. I don't need to hear my voice echo. @@DocSnipes The most useful, practical, and easy skill (my "go-to" technique) is by far the diaphragmatic breathing. Until I discovered DBT? My go to coping skill was CRYING. Literally, I would flee a stressful situation and go find somewhere private to cry 😢 until I felt capable enough to rejoin society. That's awful to admit, I know, but since discovering these skills? and your channel? I rarely ever cry anymore and as a side benefit? My immune system has become much stronger and I rarely ever catch a cold or get sick anymore. My intention now is to help everyone learn about the benefits of DBT🙂.

Doc got a question for you. Thought maybe you Might know.
Where's the switch Doc? Where do we go from being innocent, loving accepting of pretty much everyone and trusting children to whatever we are as adults?
Been thinking about it and I really don't know where or how that happens. 🤷🏻‍♂️
    P. S. Ok not trying to sandbag you or anything like that. Just thought maybe they taught you that somewhere along the lines.

Immerse yourself in pleasant distracting thoughts😂🤣😅😆😁😄😃😀🙂😂🤣😅😆😁😄😃Think about anything positive you could do & do it................even if it's taking a walk & singing the bad thoughts away.............imagining the bad thoughts to leave you! Shout SHOUT let it all out! These are the thing's that I leave behind ! They're gone ! They're vaporizing in the air! I love myself ! I'm walking feeling good & maybe I'll volunteer & be made fun of..............who cares...............they can't take away my joy! To do anything positive against fretting about the past & future cause only bad ever happened to you WON'T WORK but cause you to be at your worst!

what do you think about this: we're either religious or non-religious. from a religious world view everybody is either good or bad and will end up either in heaven or in hell and no matter what you've done, Jesus or your prophet of choice will save you.
from a non-religious view nobody might be truly bad or good, as there exist no hell or heaven
