That beautiful shot during LGDTB > Pleas of Waker Houser in the wings over his Dad’s shoulder watching and taking it in. Makes me choke up and really grateful to have been there. Watching a snapshot in time…we all knew there was no better place to be on the planet than right then and right there between those monoliths. Nowhere.
A love SUPrEME x 3 So appropriate with Bramlett up there on sax blowing his heart out What an amazing night/run and time to be alive I drove to KC Starlight after these shows and snuck in to watch soundcheck…that’s how I found out the inevitable was a reality….no stool…no Mesa. It was a strangely appropriate way to find out, didn’t need anyone to tell me. Miss him every day since. Selah.
i also discover them in 93, i befriended a guy who moved up from alabama to kansas city and introduced me to them. they became my favorite band very quickly and i’d play the first 5 albums over and over and over again for years trying to get friends to hear this amazing collection of music and creative jams. many friends couldn’t see the beauty and greatness i did and have ever since! first show in 95 and many after that. i’ve never been able to get enough. miss you mikey and todd! This show is one of my favorites, wish i could’ve been there!
1993 was so a good yr. I, too, had my 1st introduction to Panic from my older sister & bf who were cool hippie college kids. I was hooked. I couldn't believe the lyrics and storybook i had opened up. I felt lucky and just wanted to tell everyone I knew. Some got it; most didn't. One phrase i always heard, "I just don't get it". lol. But, I did , and have always been a good ambassador to everything Panic since. "As Panic grabbed my legs, you know, it pulled me in" All these years later I still have a huge place in my heart for the music and memories. I met a lot of kids from all over the country during my travels who had a similar passion...some of the best people on the planet. Scars and all. Well I could go on and on but I just wanted to open up to this comment thread because yall did too.
My last Mikey show! Coming off of the first Bonnaroo ever, the high couldn't possibly have been higher!!! Thanks a million!!! RIP Mikey!

I have loved this band since I saw them in 1993, they were touring for the "Everday" Album.
Me too! Vail, Co first show💜 they just rolled through Wilmington, NC in May and it was very awesome!

✌💀👍🎸🎵🎶🧠🌌♾❤⚡
I saw the everyday tour as well, 3x. It was the best tour!!
This is really good. I was picking peppers with Leah Song in NC when this happened. zzz
Thx for my fav RR run. 7-5-02 would be nice. So close to MH one last time.
Michael Houser and boys, sad evening but mikey is enjoying ever last few shows....
Don't let it turn me inside out!
Rising appalachia.
That Barstools might be the best of all time and that's saying something
No words ..go see if you understand it ..you are hooked
I miss the loud out front JB guitar solos in Barstools...
Freddie used to pop tops on Saturday, sippin in the sun. WSMFP
So glad I've subbed Okie BOOM

@@OkieDeadhead keep on truckin. Everyday. I'm looking forward as is Okie. 🤜🤛
I was about 40th row, still have the stub somewhere haha
WSMFP
love seeing Mikey smile() much love to WSP
What about that JB guitar work in Weight of the World at 1:05
🔥 🔥 🔥
AND...41:41 in Tie Your Shoes. Holy Crow. I thought his guitar was just a security blanket/stage prop all these years.
Go watch the earth will swallow you, and the porch scene with him and Mikey playing driving acoustic. JB is an extremely talented guitarist.
Pusherman
Pressing business
Can anyone hear JB’s guitar?
I never understood why they wouldn't TURN JB UP!
@@bryanpace5248he turned himself down
JB is the voice and spirit-guitar players play guitar
Oh what? So Widespread Panic isn't a scene band? No kidding.
