Very interesting how Osprey still has full control over design and production despite most labor being in Vietnam. I imagine Mystery Ranch, Eberlestock and other high-end pack companies do something similar. It bothers me that companies like Arcteryx that do not focus on packs don't do the same with their Vietnam-made packs.

Absolutely fantastic! Thank you for the upload, I'm looking for a manufacturing house for a fitness and work out harness, that uses similar Parts as a backpack. Any suggestions on where to look. It seems like Vietnam is in the top spot as far as quality goes for me

All Osprey packs are manufactured in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Where the principle designer and Osprey founder, Mike Pfotenhauer lives close by with his family to oversee production.
