When I was a kid I dreamed someone would create something like this. I'll never forget when a Vietnam Vet showed me this vintage French Army Ruck he had, and the old WW2 packs and some other foreign Army stuff. And all of us just had ALICE's, and we had hoped a company like Mystery Ranch existed to fill that much needed void. I would be proud to work for them. You guys make dependable products that are built to last.

Loved my fire pack when I was out on the line. Finally got myself a personal bag recently, good to see in the factory!

Yeah that was a great video! It is awesome to be able to see where our packs come from, and the pride that the company has for their product. Very cool

I still have and use my Dana Design pack I bought in 91/92... every bit as good 25 years later... truly the most profound product I've purchased.

I’m a firefighter, I will not use any other pack. They are top tier and customer service is amazing

I have an old Dana Terraplane as well as a Bomb Pack that I use every day.
Both have survived the years better than their owner . I have a couple Mystery Ranch packs and they set the bar for all others in my opinion but amazingly my 30 ish year old Dana Design packs were so far ahead of their time that in 2021 the design, materials and ergonomics
are as modern as any of the top brands sold today though in all fairness the color schemes of some of the flashier packs does tend to give away their age. Great video. Thank you

Don't have a Dana Design pack since that was before my hiking career, but I have 3 different Mystery Ranch packs, and they're all absolutely amazing. By far the best packs I've ever used.

I'm searching for a Dana Designs Racer X, or an example of one. What would be the modern equivalent?

Great video and well made. Unfortunately, we'll now have to call them just "Ranch".

Im told only the military bags are made in Bozeman. Is this correct?

No some are made in Clark field, all the NICE frames are made in America though.
