As a wuwa player, I agree. This game can be played either go casual or hardcore. They put echoe system overworld so it's our choice to go hard core farming and do tacet or just do tacet only, depends on us. The story is up to us if we go skip or continue. Puzzles are easy which doesn't take time to clear. Chest astrites reward are compressed instead of making lots of multiple chests to explore with a few astrites. The best thing by far is they giving out free 5S. not just a free 5S, but a 5S that can resolve skill issue, can work with any team, overworld & ToA friendly, easiest to build, cheap to upgrade since they gave 60% mats for his upgrade. Even though the game has some problems, they are trying their best to fix and give the best update. This is by far I think, I'm gonna be loyal with. The more they listen, the better the future this game is gonna be.
How is he overworld friendly tho. He does very little damage without his liberation active and in overworld it always feels like a waste to use ults (like Jiyan), you’ll spend more time watching the same ult animation for many many times. If you are still early in the game then it’s fine but after sol level 7 it takes forever for Jiyan and him to clear overworld enemies without ult active. If he’s overworld friendly then everyone is overworld friendly!
@@Flowers4Fischl That's a you problem cause my Jiyan and Yao can clear overworld enemies without using their ults just because of their powerful skills (sol level 7). +Using ults in the overworld is NOT a waste cause it saves time and..where are you gonna use it otherwise? Farming? You will get energy fast after killing enemies anyway. Holograms? Those are a one-time only thing. ToA? It gives you free ults. Illusive Realm? That's irrelevant. Just use intros frequently and they'll get energy faster, + there are consumables that make you get energy faster as well
@@Flowers4Fischl oh, probably you don't know the existence of Mech abomination that can clear mobs in seconds, some people use full lingering set or 2p thunder+2p lingering with mech abo on him
yup! unlike genshit that's a slog to go through. People love to scream no content, but at least the content that we have are extremely high quality, no repetitive trash and is actually fun. Cant say much for the idiots who play genshit and defend it like their worthless. Lives depends on it😂😂.
They need to add weekly challenges aside from dailies tbh and you know what? A monthly/weekly reset of the holograms would actually be nice. Illusive realms also need to be permanent.
Isn't the illusive realm permanent? But the rewards need to reset weekly for tuners and echo exp. Only the astrites and other things need to reset per patch
The echoids event is actually fun in coop. You can clear it by yourself and get all the main rewards, but with a friend you can strategize and tackle separate doors especially at higher levels.
@@mellowvalentine9354 you misunderstand. I cleared all by myself easily, and my characters are built. It’s just even easier and allows for higher scores with someone (who is competent) cause you can each tackle a door when multiple of them open up simultaneously. It can clear faster and cause less damage to the middle tower. Idk what made you make that comment lmao
@@kawaiimika7974if ur using same char + tactics then yes, u'll find it less interesting. I tried out several chars and oh boy, I was having sm fun hhhh like jiyan's infinite ult, changli's double ults, danjin's risky playstyle and more. I built danjin with as many shields as possible 😂
Wuwa is really a great game, you can play casually and sweaty based on your mood. Really F2P friendly and combat is top tier for me I would really love to try other 4 stars, but the weekly boss materials are lacking and echo exp are way too limited.
to bad 4 star weapons kind of suck, pity system sucks compared to PGR that is 100% in their character pools, there's literally pool for 60 pulls you are guaranteed the character
@@PaulMiskimmon nah, I have to agree with the character rate, clown. I'll support them because they're Kuro, but goddamn if they should've implement a similar gacha like their other game.
they need to make money "clown" tho game requires a higher upkeep than pgr so of course their monetization needs to be more expansive, like use your brain holy.
Also, if Kuro moves forward with the Co-Op feature and make it permanent, I'd like them to incorporate more character cosmetics then. I'd like to see how other players express themselves in how they dress up their characters. For example, wouldn't it be cool to see a Jinhsi wearing a black jumpsuit and her hair down like Calcharcoal? Or a Changli in a teddy lingerie or swimsuit like in Tower of Fantasy, but that would be coomer talk Point is, let players show off what they got!
I love the game so far but its really lacking repeatable Endgame content. We only have TOA We need resetting Holograms, do it like the Stylish Mode with a mix of Babel Tower from PGR
Great optimistic take. I agree, but I think they need to double down on the good stuff and trim the typical gacha stuff as I think it's clashing with what's so attractive to the people drawn to the game. Typical gachas are about resource and task management. They're not "meant to be played" for the most part. HSR being a pretty perfect example. But, WuWa attracts people that want to push the buttons. Then kinda forces them into this task management gacha routine that doesn't focus on what's best about the game. I want to see them break away from that mold. There's lots of ways but basically make sure if people are spending 5-15 minutes playing every day they're spending them in the area the game shines most. I would hate to see the game miss out on players that would love it because it forces them to do stuff they do not feel like doing for no good reason.
Thank you for this comment! This is one of the main reasons I can't get into gachas for too long due to it feeling like a chore. I think these gacha games can all try to focus more on their strengths. I know they have these resource and tasks management to gate down how fast you complete content till the next update, but it really brings down the overall experience.
@@Drstrange3000 Yeah, the gameplay loop that satisfies someone playing an auto-battler is not going to work on someone who was attracted by ads of Devil May Cry/Elden Ring style gameplay.
I'm returning to Wuthering Waves to get Xiangli Yao. I feel like Kuro Games improved their game in many ways, since I haven't entered WuWa for three months or so. It's good to see that they are accepting the feedback from the players, it makes me very happy to be honest.
glad they are listening, but wish they did more especially compare to PGR, has more stuff to do it does consume more your time, but it knows its true focus the combat, Wuwa is kind in the middle i loved 1.1 story, 1.0 was slog to get through, i hope 1.2 is good, but i feel story very divided all over the place, combat is for sure solid, but can be cheesy at times, or weird stuff can happen i feel combat isn't as tight as PGR
One of the reasons why I like them as a company. The "community" seems to be vocal and receptive towards criticisms of the game we all love as well, which is honestly refreshing.
Weekly challenges would be great, or weekly recurring challenges would be a good addition, esp during weekends since more people have more time on weekends. It will also help if there are coop missions every week.
As a Chixia main I was surprised to see you using her so much in the footage since most people don't seem to like her. Looking forward to your upcoming video. I might have to try her with Changli again; something about Changli wasn't clicking for me so I've been using Zhezhi with Chixia lately instead.
Wuwa is super generous and well built but my main motivation to play any game is its story. I feel like all this filler content we are getting now should have built up the story to the Trenidian battle. Apart from Jihnsi's patch the rest felt misplaced. It felt like doing thesame grind with different characters.
Illusive realm is my favorite by far and my second is tied with ToA and Holograms. I prefer ToA for optimizing rotations for better time (improving my swap cancels, apm, etc etc) while Holograms are a fun, learn the pattern of the boss and dodge and parry challenge (similar to souls like games). Honestly the end game is pretty balanced imo. Just waiting to see if they can improve upon them.
My only Depths of Illusive Realm nitpick is that I want to be that powerful when fighting bosses in the overworld but can't because it's exclusive to that place (and I am f2p ) lol Damn if I don't feel like a god playing DoIR; all those fantastic buffs! Insane game mode and I love it to bits.
While enjoying the combat, i also enjoy good character development so i would love the story writing team to keep some character relevant far into the story as far as it still make sense and create connections with other main casts, some clashes of interest are even better as it adds more depths to characters. Currently playing Limbus company beside wuwa as story focused game, the storytelling of that game especially the character development aspect is what i hope Kuro would learn from the most to not make a mistake of becoming a "telling" story like certain "best storytelling" games.
I feel the game has a ton of potential. The core combat and traversal is fantastic. Great feedback loop with tons of variety in terms of enemy design and a good blend between risk and reward. Such as being successful with both parry or dodging. Both netting different rewards and giving tons of satisfying feedback. Very little to complain about when it comes to raw feel and satisfying design. Perhaps a bit contentious but I like TOA from a hardcore perspective. Rotations and optimizing invuls with boss mechanics is super satisfying and fun. It's rewarding trying different team comps and trying to optimize their rotations for the best damage. I do agree it's stat checky, but I like how it encourages to learn and optimize team comps for damage rotations and encourages learning character kits to optimize their combo routing. Changli Yao as team for instance is SUPER satisfying to me even if I can't get the rotations down all the time. Super rewarding once you get the feel for it and once you get in the swing of landing the combo and getting under a minute 30, oooph so good. I will say from a casual perspective pretty boring game mode. I love the new illusive realm they are getting a lot better with adding the right characters, but I do feel it's limited right now. TenTen said it best when you sit there and spam invul and eventually brute force your way through the content. I do like it and think it has real potential, I think some of the echoes are inherently problematic for the game mode (like Bell). Fun mode and I vibe getting in their and love building my Xiangli yao to be a tank with nukes. Super fun. My biggest issue with the game is Overworld exploration is fun, but once the puzzles, the holograms, and the quests are done there isn't a big incentive to explore again. Yea farming is nice and the game is awesome in that it lets you farm arguably THE WORST item in any gacha game, but getting the actually items to actually help farming CAN not be dropped in the overworld. Which sort of defeats the purpose of farming them in the overworld. Like why farm in the Overworld when you can just go to a tacet field and farm both the echo exp and tacet discords there. They have recently relieved this by increasing the rewards so you get more echos finished, but still the issue means that framing isn't rewarding much at all. This further exasperated by the fact that Exiles and Fractidus enemy types drop NOTHING of real value. Sure They drop upgrade materials but that is stuff you were already getting just doing the mats. I think if either fraction dropped echo exp, or morph-able echoes their would be an actual incentive to fight and farm in the overworld cause now every enemy drops something worthwhile instead of just tacet discords. I think if they just let enemies (specifically Fracitdus) drop green echo exps it would really smooth out the process of farming echos but I think that will NEVER happen, so it is what it is. I think adding more end game modes is a must, perhaps adding something like a leader board to either the holograms or TOA or something to help people wanna grind the game would really help out with player retention. Kuro has shown that they want the game to be the best game it can be; so I ain't worried about the games future. Some people in the comments suggested a tower of babel sort of mode, AMAZING suggestion a MUST add feature imo. Great late game content. However, resetting holograms is a really good start. Otherwise, hard to say what else they can add. Personally I think a raid style events could be added having a boss or tacet discord that requires multiple people to fight and requires intense strategy and teamwork sounds awesome and with new coop event shows kuro is willing to experiment so something like that isn't out of the question. Them slowing down on 5 stars is also nice and helping add to the 4 star pool also shows Kuro listening to the feedback people were having with the increase in 5 star pulls. Kuro's biggest advantage is that they seem dedicated to making certain the game is in the best state in can be. So the future looks great I hope it keeps succeeding. The next patch looks amazing with everything they have shown as well as the leaks. TLDR; game good, hope it keeps improving despite some lackluster content at end game.
I ended up getting burnt on wuwa due to overworld echo farming which led me to stop playing for a patch. Now I’m back and just farming echoes by stamina only and it’s a much more fun game. Glad I didn’t drop it permanently because there’s a lot of good content coming out. Tied for my number 2 gacha right now.
My only complaint is that the elements dont do anything at all other than make enemies resistant. Team building rn is a joke and even after we get more supports it wouldnt matter at all cuz elements don't do anything. Just slap the best support on the best dps
Not about being biased but so far, WuWa is the game where I enjoy spending my free time to. There's this satisfaction when killing mobs in the open world coz why not? Characters got flashy and stylistic skills. Never got bored I got all limited banners except Zhezhi coz I'm saving for SK(f2p btw).
depth of illusive realm has me playing it for fun when im bored. just put on an audiobook, select xiangli yao or chang li and go in there to see what happens. 10/10
@kuri_sg I remember Kurotards yelling all over the internet that this game would be better than Genshit? Then why are you now justifying it by saying ‘it's the same in genshit’?
Would love to hear peoples honest opinion of the combat. I personally don't vibe with it, I've played a lot of live action combat games but this kind just doesn't hit for me, especially on mobile. I've tried controller and keyboard too, but frankly its just all over too fast and very spammy and repetitive, the new characters haven't improved much yet either. that said i still like the game and am hoping it improves somehow
for me i'm having more fun on pc , and i really like the combat especially the quick swap teams , i would say that some characters for me aren't that fun but i like the combat overall , hope some other commenters give you their honest opinion on it too !
I think it really depends on the type of character that you are playing. I've been trying to use Xiangli Yao, and while his damage output is impressive, I feel like I'm just spamming most of the time. Chixia ended up being my main because I feel like I'm actually having to make choices and manage her forte while playing as her and she feels really fun as a result. Similarly, I got Jiyan and thought I'd replace Yangyang on my starting team with him, only to realise that Yangyang is more fun to play. Spectro Rover has a built-in timing mechanic that punishes you for spamming, as does Sanhua, so those are some other options. It obviously comes down to personal preference at the end, but the characters themselves have a lot of diversity in playstyles, so if you're enjoying the game but not enjoying the combat I'd recommend trying out different characters. Also, don't be afraid to use 4-stars. They're a lot of fun. If you've already got a few built teams for ToA, there's no reason to max out all the other characters, so you can put partial investment into everyone and make them work. Or be like me and not care about ToA and just build all characters without maxing anybody. (My main, Chixia, is my most built character, and she's only level 80 with mostly unleveled talents; she just has my best echoes so far and my free 5-star weapon from that selector box.)
I felt like playing Jiyan was a bit spammy but since I got Zhezhi that's eased a bit. I'm maining her instead of using her as a sub dps and it's extremely fun to swoosh around the battle field with her skill all the time. Can still feel spammy at times when I'm getting her forte up but generally found her gameplay super fun and refreshing. Tbh I just really like the combat in general though. One night after playing wayyy too much genshin I was suddenly so sick of the endless elemental reaction spamming, no skills needed, incredibly braindead, that I was desperate to get on Wuwa and do some dodging and parrying and actually use some skill lol. Feels so crazy good when you preform a successful dodge or dodge counter, and the graphics and sfx complete it. Probably my favorite part of the combat tbh. So yeah in short, I totally get how it can feel spammy at times but I still really enjoy it.
Forgot to mention I play on PC lol, although combat was still fun on my potato phone, I didn't actually get good at it until playing on PC. Now that I have some skill I can appreciate winning a battle by using that skill instead of it just being a spammy DPS/gear check where you cheese everything. (Apologies for rambling)
They arent releasing enough male characters and its going to be what ends up making a lot of players leave tbh. The fact we arent getting a new male until at least 5-6 months is beyond ridiculous....
@@Azrub I know what you mean 😂 I’m not expecting this game to be on the level of like Elden Ring or something. But I’d still like it to be decent by Gacha game standards
Used to play PGR like a year ago, decided on a whim to give this one a try. So far it's quite fun. I don't feel pressured to grind anything or even do dailies. I just log in and play around the world, do some missions and kill a boss or two. Took a look at the store, got myself the battle pass since I think it's good value, but other than that I dont really see anything worth a purchase, maybe that monthly vip or whatever they call it, subscription? Maybe I'll try to get this Shorekeeper. People keep spamming how great she is, and apparently an even bigger character will come out next patch. I think I will stick with the game for at least a few months. Happy to see KURO took what they learnt with PGR and polished the gameplay. As fun as 3 ping system was it got a tad annoying. And hey, now I can just get pets for free pokemon style, instead of a separate banner. The only, potential, downside is I guess the 50/50 on the new character banner. Anyway, my current goal is to get strong enough to have some dragon pets. And maybe get that green hair dragon dude in my rooster. Oh and most importantly, I heard our MC Rover is a strong unit, madlads actually gave us a based character for free. Haven't witnessed this much generosity since PGR or Limbus.
The BattlePass weekly quests need to be fine tuned. Like they need to replace using 10 consumables quest. Everyone has Verina at this point and she’s just better at healing than items.
I like wuwa but if I had a critque it's that we don't have an easily visible main story thread to follow. The story pieces so far have been pretty self contained and while Genshin's 'search for your twin' makes less sense as time goes by, it did give us an easy roadmap to stare down in anticipation of and we even knew the order. Meanwhile in WuWa all I know is that blackshores is next. After that though... dunno :o
1.1 had strong story line, 1.0 was awful was always curious if we got beta story instead, instead everyone loving us, they hated us or didn't trust us, would of been more interesting. It was slog get through, other issue that open world is kind of bland not interesting to really explore, even 1.1 area was kind of "meh" its nice you don't freeze to death like mountains in genshin, but still. I think game will keep making money, but it will go down in time. I pretty much lost interest went back to PGR, just for tighter game play and combat, it is more difficult, but far more satisfying for me because game forces you adapt and learn, i don't feel same in Wuwa only if its those challenging fights, certain open world bosses are a joke, so easy to cheese
If you noticed from the beginning of 1.1 there's two old man and one of them mentioned about "Rinas" place which is "Rinascita" and it mentioned about having an extraordinary echo so expect it to be the next place
Current state of wuwa if you’ve played for more than a couple of weeks is…absolutely nothing to do but farm echoes lol. Once you beat the holo 6 there is zero challenging content left in the game, so it’s all just echo farming and stomping everything. Even illusive realms last floor with all memes enabled is a cakewalk. I considered playing with underleveled under built characters to artificially increase difficulty and realized how ridiculously pathetic that is lol.
@@24zer0nd no lol, I haven’t maxed every single characters traces and levels, there’s been absolutely zero need to do so. Why on earth would I level and farm for a bunch of the trash four star chars when I’ve already completed every bit of content in the game lmao.
I've barely touched my Wuwa ever since finishing the event, it's just boring after that with nothing to do, thank God I have Elden Ring and HSR to cure my boredom. Hoping that the next patch won't dissapoint.
even i just do TOA like 22 doritos and thats mostly due to some astrites and resources u can buy through toa currency.. but yeah most of it is just dps check.. i love the fact that every 4 star we have has huge potential to be main dps.. and i also do the same.. instead of farming for few lvl90 characters with giga damage teams.. im just building most of my characters to lvl80 and have fun playing varity of team comps and gameplay experience.. it makes it more fun.. my only issue with that is building a character even to lvl 80 is expensive af.. and its a mental struggle abt if i should invest same amount of waveplates to perfect any elemental echo set rerolls.. cuz man rerolling echos isn't a joke.. theres also free weapons.. all free 4star weapons are downright garbage.. and even the bp weapons are like ehh.. base attack in this game plays huge role unlike any other game.. and having tiney af base attack on standard weapons hurt a lot.. now i know every single type of 5 star weapon obtaining is very easy in this game.. but till u get that perticular weapon.. investing on whatever 4 star u have feels wastage of too many resources.. i really hope they add event weapons and such...
i agree with the tower part. i barely even try in that mode and just do it once and not look at it again just for the rewards. im kinda tired of gamemodes like that and much prefer the other game modes in wuwa
As of right now WuWa still feels like an incomplete game. Hologram and Illusive Realm is fun but the game still needs further development for it to complete. Let me get an example . The Co-op. Many WuWa players are HARDCORE but we do not have anything to showcase our skills and help each other to progress the game. PGR had Leaderboards at the very least but WuWa only had limited events and world visits. Also, public lobbies would be a great addition after they release skins so I flex large wallet to strangers. And now, The Combat. It was perfect until I replayed Ninja Gaiden, God of War, and watched someone play Metal Gear:Rising, which made me realize that the game is missing finisher QTEs. Where did the crowless finisher go? Makes me wonder if they will implement QTE finishers for future characters
I love Illusive Realm, this game mode is not famous enough. It makes other gacha games look poor like third world country. Not mentioning it exposes how stingy and predatory other companies are. Illusive Realm is waaay more valuable than copies of characters in games like Jenshin, which cost tons of money. Here you are getting so many new abilities for characters to play them differently, so many buffs, including even resonance sequences. Developed echoes are fun too. Still you can get help from other characters, but you can focus on one. They simply nailed it, seriously.
Marion try not to glaze challenge 😂 Imagine claiming a single game mode where you get buffs to your characters is better than having those buffs in every mode like with character copy buffs lol.
@@Kota-sk8sl Those 'buffs' - cons, are not even close to those from Illusive Realm. Plus Jenshin doesn't even have real repeatable content. What are you even on, LMAO 😂
@@MarionFR did I ever say Genshin had repeatable content? Did I even mention Genshin? Lolol. As always you have Genshin brainrot so bad you bring it up on your own and then immediately forget. No, no matter how amazing the buffs in depths are, they will never be as good as permanent buffs that work everywhere. It’s a joke mode to make skill issue players feel strong, nothing else.

The Chinese city we are in now is beautiful I loved it but we need to go to another country we need countries like Mondstadt, Fontaine and Sumeru I want cultures of countries other than China The game needs a continuation of the story. I feel that the upcoming updates 1.3, update 1.4, 1.5, and 1.6 1.7 1.8 are all just filler. I have been wishing when we will get out of these updates and go to Other regions 😭
Ok. Listen. The game is good. I’ve got maybe just one thing to complain and that is there is just nothing fun to do other than playing illusory realm over and over with different characters, once you finished exploring everywhere and did all the quests. I like how they are making the tower defense event coop but it’s not something I’ll play over and over again. The only thing I’m looking forward to is the new versions I want 1.3 black shores 1.4 camellya and 2.0 new nation like now lol
I quit playing after getting Changli and her weapon. The game isn't bad, it just bored me and I got annoyed with the mechanics after Jinhsi's release. I find airborne characters tedious to play. I had so much fun playing Jiyan and Yinlin, but I hated Jinhsi and Changli's kit. While visually beautiful, I couldn't have fun with it. I told myself that there will be newer units to come who aren't airborne based, but the thought of grinding from 0 astrites to whatever amount all over again just kills me. I think I got bored because I've played Genshin for so long that when I play WUWA, I feel like I'm playing the same game, just with different mechanics and graphics. I want something different. No more dailies. No more looking at Genshin and using them as a blueprint for things. etc. I'll see how much has changed after a year for this game. I might return, but likely not. By the time a year comes, there will already be new gacha games that could potentially be better to play.
@@nifLefty I did come back momentarily to get him, but I'm not really much of a male character go'er and it's not just about the characters. It's everything else in the game that makes me feel bored and tired.
I actually agree with you (I love the game and am sticking with it, but agree with your point on how it could improve). Basically, the game takes what should be an ARPG experience and forces it into a traditional gacha experience and they seem to clash. This above all is the reason I think the game is losing players (more than losing revenue they are actually losing players). It's attracting people with one thing and then giving them, or forcing them into another. It needs to abandon the idea of being a "typical gacha" especially a Hoyo-style gacha and focus on what's awesome about the game. It doesn't mean turning into an all-day grindfest, like people assume every time someone suggests more gameplay focus, but simply if you're going to have people log in every day for 5-15 minutes, make those 5-15 minutes EXACTLY what drew them to the game. None of the other fluff necessary. For example, you log in do a run of Illusive Realm and can get everything you need done during that run and log out. All dailies, all stamina used, etc. No tedious menu clicking and bouncing around the map. That's not what drew people to the game and it clashes.
@@XCCCUnknown that's a whole essay right there, but I understand your point, thou this version 1.2 they fixed the camera issue and It doesn't feels annoying as before when playing chang and jin. Though it still depends on your preference I respect your opinion.
Even tho it's in a more positive state, the grind is still awful, 4-star weapons really sucks and crafting one takes waaayyyy too long to do for little reward that it's just better to pull 4-star weapons. Also, the Echo XP they give in the events are nowhere near enough for the amount of investment required to tackle end-game. Those are my biggest issues right now with the game
I had to change my perspective on echoes. It feels intended as the absolute end-game. Once you've finish a set, you're done with that archetype/element for good. Especially since the BiS sub-stats are universal (Crit Rate, Crit DMG, ATK %, Flat ATK & Energy Regen). The few tuners the events give and their poor recycle rate limits the amount of Sub-Stat rolls I can do, but at least doesn't pressure me into echo farming. Just doing the 15 boss echoes per week + 3 echoes everyday for the BP gets me through just fine.
@@Zer0Perplexity u say it man only try hard will roll better sub stat for those echo as for me a casual getting crit n crit damage for echo is enuff watever % is
i'm pretty sure i didn't do that i just talked about the numbers and that it's not really that low compared to what a gacha game cost monthly on average you don't need a phd in finance to know some basic things
Game's boring, story is horrible, characters are poorly written and thrown about voice acting is MOSTLY still bad. "But hey the combat is good" meh, I cant be bothered that part's subjective if you enjoy it good for you. Every video I see for this game is just some cc telling me how the devs are "Generous" and every patch is just them fixing the mess of a game, not adding substantial or even interesting content. Is almost like you're tryna convince me or sell me the game cuz from what ive playing (pretty much everything) this sounds like pep talk for the Delusional community this game has.
Thats on you. Everything what you say is subjective, saying WuWa story is horrible is your opinion? Does most people here will agree? Obviously not. The Voice actor is good in some case, i will say the combat Voice is good, mostly meh in dialogue especially for EN. Games boring? Well if you watch and doing nothing and ofc its gonna be boring, this is not only happen in this game problem, its every gacha games problem especially if you are Endgame. If you think this game boring, play single player that is the best thing. Combat? I mean this game is tags as combat (Maybe a little Hardcore) games and not novel games, complain combat here is bad, hard or something else is your problem, most gacha games are behind "paywall" or expensive team to clear many content. Rather than giving another move or annoying thing, most games just "Sponge HP Max Pro limited edition" to their content so its a little "harder" and done about it.
"Substantial and interesting content"? Bro that Illusive Realm is always updated every patch, its updated content. Honestly what is see this is your problem. I cant think of anything good in your argument or opinion at all. We have new map 1.1 called Mt. Firmanent, 1.2 new event where we hangout and doing some festival and new companion quest. If you think this is boring, uninterested content, its better if you get off from gacha games and just enjoy single player game rather commenting bad on this game, criticize is good but you are not criticizing at all, you are something else.
@@TheChoosenOne_CarlW Story isn't subject fam, a shit Story is a shit story especially in the way its told, you are free to enjoy it but fact remains...it's shit. Read my comment carefully and take the time to understand it before you type you emotions out...look I don't mean to offend you but this is what I mean...you the type of people that aren't acknowledging the massive flaws here the perfect example of the Delusion I speak of.
I like WuWa since the combat is great and I think the game has a ton of potential, but endgame like tower is still just awful, the story and voice acting is still terrible, and minor bugs/polish and mediocre exploration hold it back still. I really enjoyed the coop event too so I hope they lean in that direction going forward. Overall I think the game is on the right track - I just hope they continue to improve.
Great feedback. The good thing about story and VA is that they are notoriously awful in most of the best action games (Ninja Gaiden, Devil May Cry, Bayonetta). Combat and design can carry if they lean into it. The coop event revealed how good a city defense mode and special dungeons would be solo/coop. They need to implement more meaningful gameplay (combat and navigation focused) into the actual open world. Special weekly monster bounties for extra and elite upgrade materials etc. That would probably fix the "mediocre exploration" if the world was more alive with things to do that focus on what's best about the game.
Tho I agree with most of these, I gotta say that exploration is by far the best one I've tried on gacha games just by how easy it is to move while being satisfying at the same time
Disagree on the story part. 1.1 and 1.2 stories were great (By Gacha game standards). Lots of people probably skipped them though, so I don’t blame em for thinking it’s still buns.
to be honest im bored, elusive is boring, i only play it to get enough items i need, recent story also boring for me both zhezhi and xiaoling, but im overall bored with any other gacha games also including genshin and zzz
WuWa biggest issue mainly 2, optimization in phone and story rework which eat up resources and workforces that can be used for many other things and they are the caused of the rest "smaller" issues. they should resolved those big issue as fast as possible and once done make a banger patch then pump the marketing hard. also while I know it hard and prolly cost a lot to do, I do still wish KURO fixing 1.0 main story. decrease the unnecesary yapping, remove or even rewrite part that generally players find bad and stupid for better new player experiences to make them stay. I believe doing this will better for WuWa in long run on attracting players than keeping 1.0 story as it is
I wasnt expecting this level of glazing. To be honest, i was one of the biggest wuwa optimist you could find since launch but it is a fact that wuwa has gotten pretty stale. There is nothing to do. I 30/30 the tower every other week and then what. "Holograms carry te game" is not a good argument because they are a 1 time thing. Either people who cared about them already cleared them or people who couldnt care less will not be touching them in the future anyway. Another boring factor is that every patch takes too long to end (45 days), we have already reduced to single 5 star per patch, recent story patches have been filler not that there are many in total anyway, and the character release choices have been questionable at best. They fumbled the bag. Its just as John Kuro said i guess, they will barely manage to stay alive with this but nothing more. I am not even comparing to its competitors yet, cuz when we do compare the improvements of zzz over wuwa, it becomes even more obvious that wuwa is lacking NEW things. I know 1.3 is expected to be the 'big' improvement unlike the flop that is 1.2, but lets see.
i feel more people are playing this game on PC then on Mobile, you can see how badly game did last month in China with only 5M, that's great for lots of games, but something like this should in same range as Mihoyo games, its not good, to bad they don't track PC sales as well. I personally dropped the game go back to PGR, PGR combat just far more satisfying then this game, personally i find this open world to be bland, especially when Genshin dropped Natlan what a beautiful area to explore omg.

@@Flowers4Fischl 💀 not everything is ult focus dear. It's for you to find out how, because I can't say 88K damage with no ult is low for S0.
@@Flowers4Fischl
That's a you problem cause my Jiyan and Yao can clear overworld enemies without using their ults just because of their powerful skills (sol level 7).

The current state of wuwa: just waiting every second towards 1.4 camellya drop
The wait is causing me physical pain 😭
female players keep crying
Also, if Kuro moves forward with the Co-Op feature and make it permanent, I'd like them to incorporate more character cosmetics then. I'd like to see how other players express themselves in how they dress up their characters. For example, wouldn't it be cool to see a Jinhsi wearing a black jumpsuit and her hair down like Calcharcoal? Or a Changli in a teddy lingerie or swimsuit like in Tower of Fantasy, but that would be coomer talk Point is, let players show off what they got!
I love the game so far but its really lacking repeatable Endgame content. We only have TOA
We need resetting Holograms, do it like the Stylish Mode with a mix of Babel Tower from PGR
that would be sick !
L shit take.

Kuro has always been like that, lol. It's literally their trademark.
Weekly challenges would be great, or weekly recurring challenges would be a good addition, esp during weekends since more people have more time on weekends. It will also help if there are coop missions every week.

I feel like all this filler content we are getting now should have built up the story to the Trenidian battle. Apart from Jihnsi's patch the rest felt misplaced. It felt like doing thesame grind with different characters.
I LOVE ILLUSIVE REALM so much!!!!
It's great that Kuro is really trying to improve avery aspect of the game. But WuWa have a lack of content in every patch. Hope they make more of them
I say the major problem for wuthering waves is the leak but looks likes they also start to notice it now
My only Depths of Illusive Realm nitpick is that I want to be that powerful when fighting bosses in the overworld but can't because it's exclusive to that place (and I am f2p ) lol Damn if I don't feel like a god playing DoIR; all those fantastic buffs!
I am seriously IN LOVE with this guy's outro. Please help me make one for myself brother😭❤️
I think the drop in revenue was partly because we found out about shorekeeper before Zhezhi came out.

Lol I'm still stuck with building characters and dude's having fun with hologram he already finished

Everyone has Verina at this point and she’s just better at healing than items.
true but dont forget about all the other consumable, I think they are just trying to get you to remeber to use that stuff
If you noticed from the beginning of 1.1 there's two old man and one of them mentioned about "Rinas" place which is "Rinascita" and it mentioned about having an extraordinary echo so expect it to be the next place

theres also free weapons.. all free 4star weapons are downright garbage.. and even the bp weapons are like ehh.. base attack in this game plays huge role unlike any other game.. and having tiney af base attack on standard weapons hurt a lot.. now i know every single type of 5 star weapon obtaining is very easy in this game.. but till u get that perticular weapon.. investing on whatever 4 star u have feels wastage of too many resources.. i really hope they add event weapons and such...
Yeah man those 4* weapon suck can only lvl those to 70 high just waste of mat unless it was full ascension
No controller option for tablets is a complete bummer. I end up not playing anymore
i agree with the tower part. i barely even try in that mode and just do it once and not look at it again just for the rewards. im kinda tired of gamemodes like that and much prefer the other game modes in wuwa
As of right now WuWa still feels like an incomplete game. Hologram and Illusive Realm is fun but the game still needs further development for it to complete. Let me get an example
.
Marion try not to glaze challenge 😂
Imagine claiming a single game mode where you get buffs to your characters is better than having those buffs in every mode like with character copy buffs lol.
@@Kota-sk8sl Ah, you are right, you didn't mention, you weren't even trying to make sense, my bad 😂 Thank you for bumping up my comment and supporting the message 💓
@@MarionFR you forget that games other wuwa and Genshin exist a lot lol
I hope illusive realm have mechanic of getting lost since it looks like a backroom.
According to leakers (take with a grain of salt) we will be getting 2.0 directly after 1.4 so you don't need to wait that long.
Ok.
You HAVE to start now if you come back. You get a free Xiangli Yao which is exactly what you want, a ground type unit and he's actually really good
@@nifLefty I did come back momentarily to get him, but I'm not really much of a male character go'er and it's not just about the characters.
Wow, what a civil discussion, Genshin could n___r
@@XCCCUnknown that's a whole essay right there, but I understand your point, thou this version 1.2 they fixed the camera issue and It doesn't feels annoying as before when playing chang and jin. Though it still depends on your preference I respect your opinion.
My problem as f2p thay dont give us much astrite HSR gives more jades and pulls per patch
I thought this game was more generous.
Thats because with hsr you lack exploration are you doing your exploration if you are it should add up to wuwa giving more pulls
Go play turn based games
It's because HSR isn't really open world so that's why they give much.
I really want more co-op content
فيديوهاتك ديما بتخلي زول متشوق❤
Even tho it's in a more positive state, the grind is still awful, 4-star weapons really sucks and crafting one takes waaayyyy too long to do for little reward that it's just better to pull 4-star weapons.
Also, the Echo XP they give in the events are nowhere near enough for the amount of investment required to tackle end-game.
Those are my biggest issues right now with the game
i think the echo xp is the biggest problem , forgot to mention that in the vid lol

So far the game is ok.
It's always funny trying to see gacha CCs act like they have a phd in finance, when talking about the revenue chart
i'm pretty sure i didn't do that i just talked about the numbers and that it's not really that low compared to what a gacha game cost monthly on average
you don't need a phd in finance to know some basic things
Hologram co-op when?
the new SU is THE BEST I've ever seen
I have played all the games mentioned within first 5 seconds of the video except ZZZ

Did I say all voice acting in the game was bad? Read my comment carefully and take the time to understand it before you type you emotions out...look I don't mean to offend you but this is what I mean...you the type of people that aren't acknowledging the massive flaws here the perfect example of the Delusion I speak of.
Best end game ❤
Chill with your thumbnails bro 💀
??? Its not even that bad?
thats yinlin for ya lol
Wuwa can be casual as it is atlest for me i play casual it not force me to do any annyoing stuff
@@dislikebutton8979 💯
@@Panda-yw4us he's probably talking about the "sightseeing" aspect of world exploring not the process of how to go from point A to point B

It’s good, but Genshin is great.
😊
That's what Wuwa need, just to be good and to satisfy it's fanbase, they don't need to compete with the larger games, they just need to be themselves.
Well, the end game is stale quickly cz it is a mobile game nonetheless.

@@cherozkiahyusof4902good for you, I still get annoyed by the camera works in mobile during boss fight
Mobile is better because touchscreen is more fun and convenient. Keyboard and mouse feels outdated and ugly
I believe doing this will better for WuWa in long run on attracting players than keeping 1.0 story as it is
The combat souls like nd I beat the game just waiting for expansions
I need more male characters pls kuro
Meh
Go to Wuthering Height next time
I wasnt expecting this level of glazing.
I know 1.3 is expected to be the 'big' improvement unlike the flop that is 1.2, but lets see.
no TOA just need lvl 90 lol and max out talent
exactly , a stat check
thats not that hard to achieve bro..just sayin

i feel more people are playing this game on PC then on Mobile, you can see how badly game did last month in China with only 5M, that's great for lots of games, but something like this should in same range as Mihoyo games, its not good, to bad they don't track PC sales as well. I personally dropped the game go back to PGR, PGR combat just far more satisfying then this game, personally i find this open world to be bland, especially when Genshin dropped Natlan what a beautiful area to explore omg.
