SO TRUE thinking about 1.x as one huge open beta is a perfect way of describing the company and our experience I'm genuinely so so excited for Rinascita. Kuro has been cooking in the kitchen for so long, I'm sure that it's going to blow us all away
@@TheLawlessRoguei really hope they continue experimenting like that in ALL of the game, its pretty fun to get new things especially character mechanics
@@s0_real there is a game that kinda does that?? It's called Guardian Tales and basically every character has multiple skins, especially the MC (though the MC is also special in the way that they can use most weapon types, like they aren't just locked to a sword and a shield they can actually just wield a gun, the only thing they can't use is magic based weapons and I find that extremely neat because canonically they do suck at magic lmao)
When it first came out I was not having a good time (lagging af, random crashes etc) I quit and was convinced no one would remember it in a month. But I said to myself that if by some miracle it came out on ps5 I would try it a second time. Of course I’m a man of my word and will try it out next year.
i simply do not believe a single person who likes these kind of games will stop to play wuwa, after shorekeeper quest. its just too good man. im 100% certain you WILL become a huge fan as soon as they make it stable on ps5
@@WastedTalent83tbh I feel like scorekeepers quest, along side the threnodian invasion, was just good, not great, the quest I felt really hooked me is the mt. firmament quest which actually gave some depth to the rover beyond just mysterious waifu collector. Granted I found it difficult for myself to even stay engaged with the story until that point due to how much of a slog acts 1 to 5 are. I genuinely hope kuro somehow reworks those quests like zzz is doing in 1.4 to help the new player experience, because the only thing that kept me going is the combat which I realized isn’t something that the every new player can appreciate without seeing the depth of combat in another game like genshin.
I genuinely want this game and its developers to keep winning. It’s a breath of fresh air and is so so fun to play. Plus the fact that they actually pay attention to feedback is so underrated. I really hope this community keeps growing too.
I would loved to play this game, it is beautiful, but the combat experience is killing me. I absolutely not love boss fights in any game, and especially when they are on timer. This game puts so much stress on the timed arena fighting I don't even know if I can keep playing it. I really don't understand players who keep shouting abut challenging content, they seem like from another universe beings.
@@atomsk9000You said a whole lot of nothing lol, just get better at the game. A moderate level of skill is required in wuwa, you can't just spam buttons.
I mean, I would say the specific style of gameplay this promotes might just not be for you. Those of us from the Monster Hunter, Dark Souls, and Devil May Cry world's absolute love the boss fights. It's the euphoric feeling of overcoming an enemy much stronger than yourself. If you don't find it fulfilling, but exclusively stressful, then you probably don't fall into the target audience.
There aren't any bad limited units in this game, but I don't think they're going to add more male characters, which kinda sucks. It's probably one male character for every four or more female characters.😔
limited 5 stars are confirmed to have story quests so dw all characters (carlotta, roccia, brant, phoebe, zani and more limited rinascita characters will have story quests and the main story quest ofc) clacharo is a standard 5 star and idk what happened to him um ig he became a calculator for life
Next what we need are new tower with unlimited floor tower like in nikke where each floor getting harder and harder but harde in boss mechanic difficulty not harder with hp inflation. This will test hardcore player limit.
it will be "harder" with hp sponge if they ever tried to make it, we already have that and it's hp sponge in mid tower. tof had that, boss are difficult, actually punishing and you need to have perfect rotation (even with A6) but they still have hp sponge which ultimately the reason why gacha game exist, creating artificial difficulties to incentifying pulling the characters. wuwa doesn't have 1000 boss with different difficulty line up
@@prohanta9360no they don’t need to make it hp sponge, they could rework the hologram bosses and integrate it into a tower mode where the lower tower have low lv hologram bosses and higher level have higher level bosses, the highest level will have multiple bosses at once. and keep in mind we haven’t gotten a world boss hologram yet. imagine what they can do with dreamless hologram. and if you haven’t played PGR yet you have no idea what they can do to the bosses to make it harder and it’s not just more hp or bs one shot mechanics.
@@tae_lna yeah but currently what they're doing is exactly what other gacha game doing "make them boss hp sponge", it's literally in game. they can this and they can that, sure, but at least they could already implement it since beginning but the blueprint they use now is "let's make the boss with hp sponge". but let's see what they gonna do, the update cycle is 2nd slowest of gacha game i've ever played, maybe they have time to rework entire gamemode
@@prohanta9360 not really? the only one i can think of is toa but that is piss easy if your rotation is good, people can solo all tower with danjin, aalto. meanwhile casual might struggle not because the boss hp is high. but because the boss attack will interrupt your rotation and you will lose damage or even die. Not to mention their rotation might not be optimized and they can get more damage from there. that's literally not what hp sponge mean, that's just the game is actually a bit challenging.
@@deathstrokekills9038 iphone has it since 2021-22 or something, they promised mobile controller support last 2020 yet implemented it only on one phone brand.
They do... They actually hear our complaints. They just don't care. it's their game, they make it the way they want to make it.. It's probably their motto.
Why would I make a criticism in such a good vibe appreciation video!? Let's keep things positive... If you ask me what's the best game mode in WuWa? Depths of Illusive Realm. Why?? One answer, DOPAMINE RUSH. Those buffs and perks made my Calcharo into Calculator spewing numbersssssss!!!!!
today i did it like 10 times, with different characters lol. Its absurd how up numbers goes i was laughing like an idiot, my yinlin hit 2m damage against the last boss ahhahaha its was such a lol to play... if only other game could understand this simple fact... just put VERY HARD stuff for hardcore players, but also fun and "easy" for people who like to just have fun like the Illusive realm
hoping he will appear soon (which means new federation will be introduced earlier on) but good grief, as a fellow calcharo (and gehsu lin) simp, i am surviving off of the most bare, minimum crumbs
My fear is that fans become too militant to the point that whenever there's honest constructive critizism they see it as an attack. There are many things to fix in the game, let's not render the company immune to criticism by excessive fanbboyism.
@@matheusdavid1247 Exactly, more words doesn't mean better writing. There's a skip option but good writing should make skipping unnecessary for main quests at least.
I'm a mobile player too, and honestly, I haven't had any issues from the get-go. I think it really varies from one device to another. 🙃 Thank goodness I haven't faced any problems with the launch! 😎 And I can tell that Wuthering Waves is the best gacha game there is right now ✌️
If you played in the first week, you would have been treated to a few crashes and lots of patches, but by the end of week 1, all that was cleaned up. :) Kuro gets it done!
Glad you had no issues. I can’t run it without lowest quality settings, and even then it crashes every 15 minutes. I still play bc it’s fun, but other games run MUCH better than this for me
@@spartacurt I could still run it on low quality, but when I increase the quality it became laggy lol but I could run zzz perfectly on max quality in mobile (idk why but it's like that). And the lag is unbearable, and the cherry on top. It's the reconnection that made it so frustrating to play on high graphics
Wuwa is so good with their community, it is actually intimidating and scary for me, cause It's not something we see ever from others like it. For them to be such a marketing mystery, and also listen to players feedback. I think even the most skeptic (myself example) can feel excited for 2025.
My hope is that the 2.0 story will not be rush and will be fun to do. My expectation are really low because of hsr but still, wuwa did a good delivery with 1.3 and 1.4. At least I know with the leak that musics have improve a lot, now it's a waiting game :)
biggest changes for me is the double rewards claim and they make enemy lineup less frustrating for daily farming. otherwise i would have quit the game.
We definitely have two sides of china here, kuro being the good side with tons of generosity and communication. Then we have hoyo(mostly genshin because hsr is pretty good) stingy af and will milk everything until they can no longer do so. 😂 I can sense the genshin bots marching
I have times where i kinda just logg in, do dailys and ship off to play something else. But i NEVER had a single time, to where i returned, that i wasn't absolutely hyped. My favourite change is the illusive realm. It was the best mode already and now its even more crazy
From a Day 1 player who seriously loves WuWa ... PS5 port when? :D Please, Kuro! I want to see this big beautiful world on a big screen! :) Keep up the good work!
@@bromegaman5962 yesss~ i really would like to play this on consoles. I had no problem playing the game on an ipad, it was very uncomfortable without controller support.
Oh definitely, I've been trying to get my Cammelia (or however her name is spelled sorry) her signature weapon but I came back to the game after like 5 months of not playing with only a week left on the banner so I have absolutely nothing lmaoo, it sucks because I just threw energy regen at her cuz I don't have anything else that's good
No I prefer what they did right now c'mon weapon banner is 100% and u still ask broken 4s weapon? U think this dev didn't eat? They need income don't compared it to that predatory hoyo weapon gacha, b5 is 5050 in star rail so to make it still playable they make a quite enough 4s weapons
I feel bad for Luna Spoiler : Alpha has lose her ascendent power also nowhere to be found whether live or dies , lamia turn into a huge sea monster I assume and Roland died due to his loyalty to Luna ( simp till the end) and Luna she become blind and couldn't control her ascendent power ( when skk tried to touch her ,our suit warn us about high punishing virus detected ) with hope waiting for alpha to return while accompany by lamia I
I honestly hope they go that route. They tell suffering, death, and despair so well in PGR. It's not too edgy and cringe and it doesn't try to take itself too seriously. It's believable like reading a good book or watching a good movie. Like man, Aeon Reforged is feeding my love for political intrigue in writing. And the way they told what happened pre-Punishing is such a gripping moment. Also, I hate how they make you feel attached to NPCs like tall guy or that cool-looking construct in Cradle's Parade (shorthalt?).
I hope WUWA will the collab with NIER automata too like PGR~ I would totally pay for the skins & characters Nier skins on Stellar Blade was absolute chef kiss~
At this point they might as well just make it so you unlock every character by just completing their companion quest/main quest, then the game will be perfect.
@@cocopops1950 You still do pulls on limited characters? Also it not being a gacha would be a good thing because the gacha model is garbage and predatory.
@@SoilKilonovabut ngl I wanna support Wuwa Devs so I want the gacha aspect to stay And it also gives a dopamine rush while summoning cuz otherwise what's the fun of pulling gacha if u have every character already
The biggest thing that I would like to see is some backstory for some of the original characters we got also a way to recycle unwanted five-star echoes into materials for echoes that you wish to level up
If there are two things I would criticize them over, it's the lack of male characters and the harem storyline. I can tell this game is starting to switch its focus toward certain male audience and that's why my interest in the game is slowly dying down. Jiyan and Xiangli Yao had some of the BEST storylines and side quests I've every played.
They should probably stop that "falling for rover" plot whenever there's a new 5 star character cuz it's repetitive and pls perhaps a good 4 star weapons hehe.
@Mary-p9b7u literally every character to Rover is immediately like "omg my beloved ily fr" some are simply more subtle about it, but it very much is still there, ESPECIALLY if you listen to their voice lines

See I really like this video because it specifically list's the things that makes THIS game good. Unlike other RUclipsrs (saintonas) who keeps praising the game while always comparing it to Genshin. Like can't you call your favorite game a good game without comparing it to other games? Let Wuthering Waves stand on its own feet it is a good game and you don't have to compare it to other games to know or tell yourself that it's good.
@@Havczz Banning anybody from his chat that doesn't glaze the game enough for his liking will hollow out his community pretty damn fast too as will the screaming and raging over other CC's coverage of the the game he's devolving into fast.
Hoyoverse won't listen because they don't have to, but who will listen is every game coming after Wuwa. If a game doesn't meet the standards, the Gacha mob will compare them to Wuwa and then leave. Kuro has set the standard high, so other developers better be nice or they'll get nowhere fast.
I wasn't as enthused by the Shorekeeper story (character is really nice, though), but the Camellya update was across the board great. Story was good, character is OP, and the QoL updates were amazing.
just started out 2 weeks ago, broke my back while climbing about 4 weeks ago and i finished the biggest project in my education (80+ hours on a school project) about 2 days after I started WuWa. i have so incredibly much time because i finished the project, have nothing to work on, cant go to school for more than 3 hours and not allowed to do anything intensive. I have reached rank 37 and i would be data bank 19 if there wasnt a cap of 18 before reaching rank 20. my thoughts until now: i can keep playing the game and it just looks and feels amazing, there are some quite challenging things i cannot do yet but i don't mind. the exploring is nice, killing all the enemies you see is actually rewarding. I LOVEEE the 'resin' (not sure what its called) system that you can like overflow it for 480. the combat feels amazing, the cynematics are great, the exploration is nice. i do see a lot of similarities with genshin tho like a lot lot but that only makes it easier for me to understand. i love the echoes system that echoes are more than just like an object for stats but also you can choose which echo is your main thing to use before like switching out (at least that's how i've been using it until now lol) so yea my experience has been great so far, i think i completed the main quest until now also in this time i managed to get 3 5* characters without using the 5* selector. one thing i dont like is the split up standard weapon banner and standard character banner bc in genshin i just do a 10 pull on standard whenever i have 10 but now i have to think about what to spend it on lol.
To be honest the only thing I hate is that they changed the original storyline. I've been grieving over it as it was wayyyy better than what we got. Overall, its okay but the gameplay is fun af.
coming from 2.0, i feel like they are testing out the mc skin with some little, permanent cosmetics like the new Carnevale mask that we can equip on our rover and just leave on after. not to mention the cool weapon skins we get to get the whole "lore-accurate" combat (xly's weapon being only his robotic arm or shorekeeper being her magic/abilities instead of the spinny thing). overall, 2.0 really feels like kuro came to the ring to fight for their spot in the market and they're WINNING so far
I've been playing this game for 3 days now as the time I'm commenting and it's so fun. The combat mechanics and the animations feels good. I'm not a Genshin player or anything but this game is good i hope the devs doesn't rush or mess the game up
If I'm starting the game in January when it comes to ps5 will I get all the free stuff given to previous players before? Or was that just for a limited time?
Is the game just launching on playstation? If that is not the case, you will miss out on a few free gifts like the free 5* electric male character. However, you will still get a crazy amount of resources. Basically, when you start a new account, you always get enough resources to pull the featured character and the according signature weapon.
Honestly my only issue with Wuwa is not specific to it. I do not have the time for the farming, the game is Peak Gacha gaming game play is actually just amazing.
Wuwa has come a long way and it’s a decently fun game even for a casual player but yeah I think the main thing that puts me off engaging with the fandom and community is the tons of glazing for things that are still a work in progress and the fact that so many wuwa players can’t just be happy and have to always shit talk hoyo games. Like, do you actually like the game that much if you have to constantly affirm to yourself that its competitors are so ass
@@kairos-049 @kairos-049 The community for this game is complete ass and just kind of going in circles with the same talking points and fanbase warring for the past 3-4 months yeah.
I do have to complain it’s not low/new player friendly. Idk if it’s just my potato phone & laptop, but it taking longer for me to progress to level 90. & many events need u to be lv90 to be able to win astrites & lvl items. So I can’t get stronger without those items, then I cant win astrites to get characters. I’m barely at 54, & need to hit 60 to finally be able to max my characters. But all the event prizes lost to get to this point is sadly a lot.
what makes wuwa better is not just the graphic or gameplay, but it having a great dev who listen to its player base is really a great point in keeping wuwa alive.....
Tbh i think the main reason wuwa is a wake up call is simple because the main gacha game was always the same. Genshin. It would always be the better gacha game but ofc players got bored and every new gacha game that came out would be titled genshin killer. Hoyoverse as a company is actually pretty chill believe it or not, same with genshin but unlike hoyoverse devs, genshin devs don't listen to their people, and make terrible mistakes. Imo the most fun ive ever had in a gacha game was genshin it was so surreal and i started playing genshin right before natlan, the game was so sureal and fun and natlan just made it even more fun, but the fun ended when i reached ar 45 and beat the current main story after that it got dry the only fun was grinding for primos for characters and artifacts, while learning every goddamn reaction and rotation to beat the abyss and imaginaruim theater. The main reason why i fell inlove with genshin was probably bc of its story telling and rich lore when i played wuwa for the first time it was fun the mechanics were fairly easy, but another thing that wuwa does better than genshin is endgame idc abt graphics or combat style bc their pretty much the same in graphics but genshin has a different style. The most important thing for a game is its endgame and ive enjoyed wuwas endgame a lot more than genshins.
Kuro Games know how to treat players, especially in PGR they announced they will sync the CN server and Global server in terms of the patch updates so that global players won't wait the what CN patch will have and DMC will collab also in PGR.
My only problem with wuwa so far is lack of content I barely managed to get 60 pulls after getting Shorekeeper just to lose 50/50 and get furry boy instead of Camellya and now I have no quests or events to get pulls for Camellya again since I finished all of the quests
I've loved it from day one! I’ve been a Genshin Impact player for nearly four years, and now I play WuWa daily as well. Both are great games, but I have to say WuWa really did its homework. They’ve improved so many aspects, just a little bit better in every direction. The fighting feels cooler, the movement is smoother, the storytelling is stronger, and the artwork is simply stunning. Overall, for me, Genshin has met its match in WuWa.
wuthering waves is doing everything we wanted in genshin and more. all QOL improvements and everything that we have been asking genshin for all this time but they never delivered and now wuwa is doing it and players will make the switch sooner or later.
I come back to wuthering waves just now after quiting on 1.2 because the game isn't running smoothly on my gaming device and I have hoyo games so I focus on them more especially Genshin Impact which is on peak right now but when I saw Carlotta and Phoebe drip marketing I give it a try and it is now better compare to before I am also playing at maximize graphics because I enjoyed it a lot when I can saw the details and colors more.
Genshin is on peak?! Lmao, it's at an all time low, just look it up, natlan is a huge flop, and I say that as someone that only really plays genshin for now
There's one problem if they fix the optimization on all Mobile devices the game is gonna blow more cuz most phones users stopped playing the game cuz of lagging and the others are suffering there's no difference between flagship and mid phones many of them are the same and I am hoping they are gonna fix it in 2.0 + Do Xiangli Yao tutorial if it's possible i love your content Bro "sorry about my English it's not my first language"
While I agree that WuWa is kind of a shocker to many Gacha developers, I think from the perspective of the Gacha devs, the failure of WuWa in terms of profit and success is other regions is unsurprising. The first thing is that you mention that the devs are always listening to players. In actuallity, Devs listening to players is not new, but what selection of players they listen to. You have to understand, HYV isn't going to listen to those especially in the EN community, because the EN community is a community that do not spend in games, meaning that your presence in the game is effectively meaningless to them. Kuro decided to listen to even those who don't spend money, which definitely pleases those who don't, but then often times, such suggestions will only lead to solutions that allow those who don't already spend to continue not spending. This just generally leads to the downfall of a company, because they won't earn from those who are willing to spend a bit more. Of course, they won't earn a lot from them to begin with, but it's not something to scoff over. The second, and actually the main thing, is that Kuro is treating WuWa as a game, not as a gacha game. Approaches towards normal live service games versus gacha games are very different, and because Kuro decided to take the normal game approach, they would not succeed as a gacha game. In actuality, it is very confusing as to why they decided to release WuWa as a gacha game. The most likely possibility is that they want to mimic the success of Genshin. They want to earn as much, but because how they treated their game, it is impossible for them to replicate Genshin's success. The reason why the EN community like WuWa so much, is because it's so much closer to the games they normal play like the Soul games or other AAA games. But if you look at the very nijigen CN and JP community, their success is very, very low, even compared to Genshin who has dropped off significantly. They are not treating WuWa as a gacha game, their biggest downfall. And also, to circle back to the first point, one of the best devs in the gacha space is HSR's dev. What they do different from other gacha devs is that instead of only just listening to players, they are actually playing the games themselves. This means that they understand the problems of their game at heart, and change it even before anyone makes any suggestions about it. It's a proactive approach to solving problems, unlike Kuro which is reactive. HSR devs are (kinda) the first to do it so blatantly, but no one talks about it this way. Finally, while I think WuWa is a great game, I believe it's dumb they decided to promote themselves as a open world gacha game, aiming to steal market from Genshin, when Genshin is already down in the dumps. WuWa did successfully steal the Genshin market in the western world, but that doesn't mean anything when the western world aint earning them much money to begin with. Ironically, I believe that if Kuro resold WuWa as a normal game with either some micro transactions, they would be able to earn more money.
While we can hope that other companies learn from Wuwa’s growth, I’ve kinda given up on genshin. The star rail and zzz teams still seem to listen to players feedback but genshin is just becoming,,, the waifu harem game with potentially cool lore delivered horribly (most of the time, sometimes they get it right). Genshin is comfortable in its mediocrity because it hasn’t threatened the game’s profitability yet. It’s given up on its own flavor with Natlan purely for the sake of giving us bigger spectacles to spend money on.
I will actually play the game when it comes on ps5, since my pc sucks and my phone is the only way i can play the game, i will just wait. Hopefully i can transfer my account.
The one thing I am hoping for is they pull a PGR and when older characters get too power crept they go back to them and address it by reworking them here and there
I started playing WuWa on day 1 and was extremely laging to the point where it was almost unplayable (problems with dodging and stuff like that). I got Yinlin and left after that. I came back when they released Camellya patch because I couldn't stand missing her banner. Turns out that i missed free electro 5 star that would be sopporter by Yinlin but the game turns out to be well optimized now and I play it everyday with my S2 Camellya and her signature weapon.
I played 5 hours of genshin yearsss ago and I quit the game cuz of the gambling system. fast forward I played Wuthering waves and quit for exactly same reason. But I loved wuthering waves combat and story and exploration with fancy movement. So I came back and now... I am here to stay with v2. Massive massive improvements have been made and even though I am F2P player I have never felt like I was behind or needed to buy 5 star characters to complete any content. I am glade that even in v2 the new characters are not too strong and v1 characters are still relevent.
ok so tbh only bad thing in wuwa rn is the leakers AND THATS NOT EVEN KUROS FAULT the entire 2.0 patch has been leaked but its a good and bad thing good is the fact we know the characters kits making it so that u can decide early on who are u getting (im pulling for carlotta just look at her ult animation and u will too) bad thing is well the ENTIRE update is leaked birds sounds landmarks everything
I'm think of starting this game... But I'd like to know what all I have missed out on. I know these games tend to do the whole "you miss this story event, too bad, you'll never get a chance to see it again" and stuff like that. Can anyone here inform me of stuff I should know in advance? I saw a lot of people talking about it recently and I've been depressed about having missed 3 years of Genshin Impact content after quitting in late 2021. So much FOMO. I figure perhaps starting a different game might be a better option, but I'm on the fence.
Do they tho? hoyo games treat players like shit, design specifically to waste your time -> massive revenue kuro treats players with respect -> low revenue why do they have to learn when the community itself is telling them which is better? they have no incentive to change their ways unless players actually do something about it lol
I hope they add more varied body models too. I want a Tacet Discord hybrid playable character. Like Calcharo or Camellya but like 90% overclocked with monster features like Dante, Vergil, or Nero's Demon mode.
Wuthering Waves is such a beautiful game and has many quality of life features to make playing it easier. I don’t know if this is really happening or not but why does it oftentimes feel like it isn’t attracting that many players and is slowly losing players? It is just the feeling I get from time to time.
Im a mihoyo player and there are just the few things that stop me from downloading ww. Too many gachas (want to try smth different) Slashers are bad choice for the mobile gaming (rip fingers and reaction your device lets you to perform) And the story. I'm pro at this and i'm slowly getting done with mihoyo level of stories and reusing their own tropes. And they are experienced at storytelling as hell. Plus every game of this segment steals from the other mobile games/ gachas character and location designs and stories. They rarely are trying anything new. Most of the game locations in the whole industry are outdated concepts, it doesn't amuse anymore on the idea level. So it's just normal to give the unexperienced player the lava dungeon, for example. But it all will stop being interesting bc of traveling from game to game. Add inevitable anime tropes and you get the reason people will leave gachas in future.
You know what annoys me in the 1.4 update..? They added the feature to change team while in tower, but STILL CANT cyange equipment after you're doing one level
@arkabarma3286 you can change equipment on the tower menu IF you havent done any battle But, lets say, you failed a level and wanted to change tactic, we now have the option to change the team. Hut the equipments cannot be changed and you have to exit the tower first and then come back again
@@nawu2024Nah, this problem already fixed. I just finished my TOA today, and there's no problem with the switch weapon between Verina and SK without leave the tower.

I genuinely hope kuro somehow reworks those quests like zzz is doing in 1.4 to help the new player experience, because the only thing that kept me going is the combat which I realized isn’t something that the every new player can appreciate without seeing the depth of combat in another game like genshin.

That sounds awesome.
Not to mention their rotation might not be optimized and they can get more damage from there. that's literally not what hp sponge mean, that's just the game is actually a bit challenging.

just started out 2 weeks ago, broke my back while climbing about 4 weeks ago and i finished the biggest project in my education (80+ hours on a school project) about 2 days after I started WuWa. i have so incredibly much time because i finished the project, have nothing to work on, cant go to school for more than 3 hours and not allowed to do anything intensive.
I have reached rank 37 and i would be data bank 19 if there wasnt a cap of 18 before reaching rank 20. my thoughts until now:
i can keep playing the game and it just looks and feels amazing, there are some quite challenging things i cannot do yet but i don't mind. the exploring is nice, killing all the enemies you see is actually rewarding. I LOVEEE the 'resin' (not sure what its called) system that you can like overflow it for 480.
the combat feels amazing, the cynematics are great, the exploration is nice. i do see a lot of similarities with genshin tho like a lot lot but that only makes it easier for me to understand. i love the echoes system that echoes are more than just like an object for stats but also you can choose which echo is your main thing to use before like switching out (at least that's how i've been using it until now lol)
so yea my experience has been great so far, i think i completed the main quest until now
also in this time i managed to get 3 5* characters without using the 5* selector.
one thing i dont like is the split up standard weapon banner and standard character banner bc in genshin i just do a 10 pull on standard whenever i have 10 but now i have to think about what to spend it on lol.
To be honest the only thing I hate is that they changed the original storyline. I've been grieving over it as it was wayyyy better than what we got. Overall, its okay but the gameplay is fun af.
Wait really wuwa too? You got me really curious gonna look it up
My nitpick though is when you listen _too much_ that the original vision was lost, which led to 1.0 feeling like a limbo launch.
coming from 2.0, i feel like they are testing out the mc skin with some little, permanent cosmetics like the new Carnevale mask that we can equip on our rover and just leave on after. not to mention the cool weapon skins we get to get the whole "lore-accurate" combat (xly's weapon being only his robotic arm or shorekeeper being her magic/abilities instead of the spinny thing). overall, 2.0 really feels like kuro came to the ring to fight for their spot in the market and they're WINNING so far
I've been playing this game for 3 days now as the time I'm commenting and it's so fun. The combat mechanics and the animations feels good.
I'm not a Genshin player or anything but this game is good i hope the devs doesn't rush or mess the game up

If that is not the case, you will miss out on a few free gifts like the free 5* electric male character.
However, you will still get a crazy amount of resources.
Basically, when you start a new account, you always get enough resources to pull the featured character and the according signature weapon.

the amount of glazing for the absolute bare minimum is insane
I like the fact that I can go mint picking easier with how you can track mint using maps.
nice music choice
I have high hope for their future combats (I dont watch leaks) after trying out pgr, I hope their story can go deeper and add more endgame content.
My only problem with wuwa so far is lack of content
I barely managed to get 60 pulls after getting Shorekeeper just to lose 50/50 and get furry boy instead of Camellya and now I have no quests or events to get pulls for Camellya again since I finished all of the quests
Imo they should make the main story more consise and make more events or secondary quests that give more rewards
its so smooth now. the devs do listen and act fast
As a PGR player from a long time, I can say that they're giving their best for this game.
wuthering waves is doing everything we wanted in genshin and more. all QOL improvements and everything that we have been asking genshin for all this time but they never delivered and now wuwa is doing it and players will make the switch sooner or later.

Hopefully i can transfer my account.
did they fix optimization?
I am glade that even in v2 the new characters are not too strong and v1 characters are still relevent.
ok so tbh only bad thing in wuwa rn is the leakers AND THATS NOT EVEN KUROS FAULT
the entire 2.0 patch has been leaked but its a good and bad thing good is the fact we know the characters kits making it so that u can decide early on who are u getting (im pulling for carlotta just look at her ult animation and u will too) bad thing is well the ENTIRE update is leaked birds sounds landmarks everything
Why do I feel like I saw this title a million time
Cause virtually all WuWa content has been the same exact talking points for 4 months now basically?
I'm think of starting this game... But I'd like to know what all I have missed out on. I know these games tend to do the whole "you miss this story event, too bad, you'll never get a chance to see it again" and stuff like that. Can anyone here inform me of stuff I should know in advance? I saw a lot of people talking about it recently and I've been depressed about having missed 3 years of Genshin Impact content after quitting in late 2021. So much FOMO. I figure perhaps starting a different game might be a better option, but I'm on the fence.
For a sec I thought Legendary Drops made a video on Wuwa, and I was like WTF?
Aight. You convinced me. I’ll play again
I'm so excited for ray tracing in 2.0 😍 also the art style of 2.0
Do they tho?
hoyo games treat players like shit, design specifically to waste your time -> massive revenue
kuro treats players with respect -> low revenue
why do they have to learn when the community itself is telling them which is better? they have no incentive to change their ways unless players actually do something about it lol
I hope our rover gets his old lord arbiter skin
time to turn on the alarm clock in other games, YOU HEAR ME GI!!!!!!
I just need male characters in many gacha games
I hope they add more varied body models too. I want a Tacet Discord hybrid playable character. Like Calcharo or Camellya but like 90% overclocked with monster features like Dante, Vergil, or Nero's Demon mode.
@hijodelsoldeoriente yes demon mode type shi I also hope for larger models (not necessarily fat) but wide
@hijodelsoldeoriente I feel wuwa could learn from dislyte in terms of character designs
Definitely deserve to be the best mobile game of the year!
it’s not that the devs only need to listen, the way the devs think about their game needs to change
1.3 was absolute cinema for real
Triple A devs and publishers need to see this and realize listening to the fans results in good things
Too many gachas (want to try smth different)
Slashers are bad choice for the mobile gaming (rip fingers and reaction your device lets you to perform)
And the story.
All the rest about Kuro listening for their players is great, I'm just a fatalist, don't take it too serious
You know what annoys me in the 1.4 update..?
They added the feature to change team while in tower, but STILL CANT cyange equipment after you're doing one level
Eh? U sure about that? My chars share weapons but I didnt notice it. But idk I may have just glossed over it(?)
@arkabarma3286 you can change equipment on the tower menu IF you havent done any battle
But, lets say, you failed a level and wanted to change tactic, we now have the option to change the team. Hut the equipments cannot be changed and you have to exit the tower first and then come back again
@@nawu2024Nah, this problem already fixed. I just finished my TOA today, and there's no problem with the switch weapon between Verina and SK without leave the tower.
@@Renurya already? Good then..
It's fixed now.
