Enjoyed your chat with Fraser! On the topic of sampling of pipe organs, you have to remember the organ builders too. Some of them feel virtual organs will put them out of job. Oh and by the way. I only recommend pipe organs to be built in churches and other public settings not digital or virtual organs and save them for private use. I guess pipe organ builders will have to adapt because technology and innovation can never be stopped. The recent tech developments affected the lives of musicians and we too have to adapt in order to survive and thrive in the future. Thanks for the entertaining chat again!
Thanks very much for sharing your chat with Fraser - entertaining and illuminating. "The older he gets, the hornier he gets" is an observation that can maybe be applied beyond Fraser's dog. In the organ world, it tends to be the 'grumpier' organists become as they tend to be somewhat more opinionated about their instrument and what sounds it can make and how it should be played than other musicians (especially the 'organ purists'). Luckily for such a niche interest, there is a massive choice to suit all tastes. Mind you, if I was in charge of RUclips, I wouldn't permit anonymous dislikers to casually hit the 'thumbs down': I would want them to be named and then account for their actions! This upload gets a 'thumbs up' from me!

Hey! I know that guy! Nicely edited Mr F - glad it worked “walkabout” style! We should do that more often!

Am I the only person who likes the Erfurt set?? I just change the tuning a bit and the weirdness is gone 😌
No, you're not alone :) Even with the original tuning it's nice (had to get used to it though).
