(TL note: "Doll that you sleep with" is the actual translation - I don't think anyone would sleep with a porcelain doll, hence "stuffed doll", but I'm all ears if anyone has any better suggestion)
Hobby Atelier Carrot Wine, now known as CarrotWine apparently, has been around for a while, and makes a variety of music (though mostly gravitating towards orchestral music and chiptune music, from what I could recall). They're a bit synth-heavy though - I remember enjoying their works back when I liked orchestral music, but nowadays I can't really unhear the synths that they use.
Out of all of their albums, it seems that they're best-known for their 東方発表会　第一部　ピアノとアンサンブル album. That one really blew up back in the day (heck, if you search up "carrot wine", "how to spend winter" shows up as one of the top results). It seems that they're not particularly well-known for much else aside from a handful of orchestral uploads though - that, or RUclips's taken down all of the other uploads of HACW's discography while I wasn't looking.
For what it's worth, I was originally going to upload a track from that album, but then I remembered this one guy that uploaded the album a while back and attached a "help me get to xxx subscribers" on each video, and I shuddered.
Picked this track out from another album, though I think this is the only bossa nova arrangement that HACW made, so it's not indicative of their usual work.
(There were 6 seconds or so of silence that I cut out near the end for improved listenability)

I look away for one second and suddenly it's already been nearly a month since I uploaded. Popping in before my time between uploads escalates to over a month.
That being said, this upload was supposed to be out nearly a week ago, but it got held up from a lack of a good title as usual. The track would make for good elevator music, but "Elevator" does not make for a reasonable title, especially so when the presumed use context would be sleep-related. Ended up going for the actual genre classification this time.
...I really need a better system for this.
Still aiming for roughly an upload every two (to three?) weeks, though I seem to be running into issues of artist variety. There are tons of great circles/artists that haven't been featured on this channel yet, but lately I've been finding that my ability to tolerate listening to louder genres (orchestral/rock/electronic) has been going down, and out of the tracks that are loopable, I've been getting a lot pickier with them.
Even this track almost didn't make the cut because of the flute, but thankfully it didn't play any particularly high-pitched notes. I think a little over two octaves up is probably my maximum tolerance before my ears start bleeding, so this one was just barely ok.

I enjoyed reading your thoughts in the descriptions of your newer uploads, it made me think about my own relation to Touhou. I don't think I'm quite burnt out of it yet despite all these years, but I think it's time for me to look for new things. I'm speaking as someone who picked up drawing because of Touhou, for Touhou. Wanting to capture the passion of the artists I read and listen to and people like you who enjoy them. Maybe drawing almost nothing but Touhou for 4 years straight wasn't the best way to go about it, but it was fun. I just really, really want to draw something else for now.
I hope you continue to keep a special feeling for this series, despite your indifference towards the newer stuff.

As much as I'd like to, I'm trying to feature as many circles as I can, while also pruning aggressively for "quality" control, I.E. tracks that I've probably listened to thousands of times, and tracks that I wouldn't really mind listening to a thousand times more. See my comments on E2#021 for context.
For what it's worth, I do think Witches Pillow is overall one of HACW's better albums, despite it not being featured anywhere on RUclips (makes sense, I think that was right around when ZUN was doing his Trojan Green Asteroid takedowns, and people got spooked into not uploading), but if I were to upload entire/significant chunks of albums all at once:
1. The same artists would be featured over and over
2. This channel would get cluttered with hundreds, if not thousands, of poorly labeled and badly documented uploads - I think that was the case with E3#022 in particular, which was uploaded previously to RUclips but had no traction because the entire album was uploaded
3. I don't think it'd be fair to the original artists unless I got permission from them
4. I'd probably get copyright-struck to oblivion by the particularly trigger-happy ones
Anyways, I do have plans to eventually loop around, but only after I've exhausted as many existing artists + albums as I can, or if I'm feeling particularly lazy in terms of uploading. As of writing, I think I have 23 unique circles on here (with only Foxtail-Grass, Forest306, IZMIZM, and Pizuya's Cell having multiple uploads). Hopefully I can get at least a dozen more on here before any copyright issues/I get tired and go on hiatus again.
