As much as I'd like to, I'm trying to feature as many circles as I can, while also pruning aggressively for "quality" control, I.E. tracks that I've probably listened to thousands of times, and tracks that I wouldn't really mind listening to a thousand times more. See my comments on E2#021 for context. For what it's worth, I do think Witches Pillow is overall one of HACW's better albums, despite it not being featured anywhere on RUclips (makes sense, I think that was right around when ZUN was doing his Trojan Green Asteroid takedowns, and people got spooked into not uploading), but if I were to upload entire/significant chunks of albums all at once: 1. The same artists would be featured over and over 2. This channel would get cluttered with hundreds, if not thousands, of poorly labeled and badly documented uploads - I think that was the case with E3#022 in particular, which was uploaded previously to RUclips but had no traction because the entire album was uploaded 3. I don't think it'd be fair to the original artists unless I got permission from them 4. I'd probably get copyright-struck to oblivion by the particularly trigger-happy ones Anyways, I do have plans to eventually loop around, but only after I've exhausted as many existing artists + albums as I can, or if I'm feeling particularly lazy in terms of uploading. As of writing, I think I have 23 unique circles on here (with only Foxtail-Grass, Forest306, IZMIZM, and Pizuya's Cell having multiple uploads). Hopefully I can get at least a dozen more on here before any copyright issues/I get tired and go on hiatus again.

Thanks for the suggestion; the adblocker blocker is pretty rare ("Ad blockers violate RUclips's Terms of Service" and it refuses to play the video), but I'll try it out the next time I see it. And not ZZZ unfortunately - Refracted Railways (I.E. the masochism boss rush mode) on Limbus Company released that day, and I stayed up all night finishing it :'>

Thanks for the compliment. Wasn't sure how accurate the first part of that comment was, since there are a lot of other youtube channels that have good stuff on them - kkcwkoh, ChaosAngel, inferuy0 to name a few - but after closer inspection, they're all inactive. The only other channel that I can think of with curated good stuff that uploads from time to time that comes to mind is SkuddeOuo, though he's been uploading less frequently lately. Regarding content that comes from this channel, a lot of the upload ideas were taken and filtered from channels that no longer exist - sometimes it's the circle name sometimes the actual track uploaded. Among them are the channels infernape1, Naturalistick2, some guy named Ray (forgot his actual username), SpiritofTouhou/SpiritOfKensei, KakashiMr, and Angel Mutsumi, in rough order of hardest to easiest to find. Some of these channels were downed over 10 years ago, closer to 15, so my memory's a bit hazy at best on what they uploaded. I do remember things from time to time though, and try to jump on those opportunities when I can. As for the source files, nearly all of it come from the >700 GB lossy TH music torrent on nyaa.si, though there are a handful that I've had to dig up myself on the internet. I've also made it a goal to rummage around through the contents of the torrent from time to time just in case I can find something good, but it's a real chore. There are multiple circles that only have one or two good tracks per hundred, and there probably over 100k files in there at this point, so I try to give each track maybe a few seconds of listening, possibly more if one sounds decent.

No idea, but for what it's worth, viewership percentage of this video is at an average of 152%, with an average of 100% viewership until the 1:55 mark. I also still use this channel frequently on my main account too, so you're not alone either. Thanks for commenting by the way; I haven't been uploading anything in the past few years because I've noticed with my adblock turned off that RUclips has been monetizing my videos, which was a hard line in the sand for me when I started this channel. I hate services like Spotify that force people to play their game or lose money (sometimes to other people) more than anything else, and it felt like running a RUclips channel where I just pirate music was contributing to that. After some recent events, though, I think I might start uploading again soon; stay tuned I guess.

Late, but it's not mine. I wish I could make something like this too, but I'm just a reuploader. Album was made by Dark PHOENiX, a (now seemingly-defunct) circle/music group. The arrangers for this album were "Yu-" and "Shion Himekawa" (who are the usual arrangers for Dark PHOENiX).

Late, but the music is not mine and I don't have the authority to say yes. I'm just a reuploader that uploads music that was previously taken down by RUclips, either directly or indirectly (but mostly the latter). I'm not making any profit from this channel, and I don't think I'm hurting the original creators by uploading these tracks, so I'd say my moral compass is intact. This upload did not obtain permission from the original creator (Forest306), and I acknowledge that my channel can be taken down on a whim (not that it's likely to be, my favorite music arrangers/people whose stuff I upload are mostly inactive/retired nowadays).

I'm not too sure myself. I've been thinking a lot about this issue for the past week, and with the remote funeral finally over today, I think I was mostly feeling down on behalf of the ones who had lost (my immediately family), rather than the one who was lost (grandparent). That's probably not how it should be--usually, a funeral is for a family to share grief, not to export it to someone else to experience proxy-grief, and clearly they weren't ready for the loss. It feels like I'm probably in the wrong here, and doubly so since I'm taking 2 weeks of (paid) bereavement leave from work, despite not actually needing it for grieving. Kind of reminds me--we had a family turtle at some point (when I was a kid) that some family friends picked up off the road, and one day it ran (crawled?) off without us noticing when we let it out of its enclosure. I wasn't its primary caretaker and mostly only watched it when I passed by it and had nothing else better to do, but I was feeling down for the next month or two after it disappeared. Meanwhile, here I am bad(neutral?)-mouthing a relative that I lived with for years when I was younger, right after their passing. Admittedly, my capacity to deal with loss changed a lot over the years, but long story short, it seems strange that I'd grieve the disappearance of a turtle that just lumbered around all day in its tank without a care in the world, as opposed to someone who actually appreciated and mostly-remembered my existence, despite not being properly equipped to express it fully. Definitely felt somewhat out of place in the meeting, grief-wise, though at least my respects were paid. I'm also mentally justifying my mini-vacation by telling myself that I'd gladly trade a month's worth of days off if all of this didn't happen, so I guess the guilt's slightly alleviated on that front too. ~~~ To answer the question off whether or not preparation for loss excuses lack of grief, I feel like I'm mentally overprepared for loss, given that the virus is everywhere and that I often get nightmares about family members no longer being there (There was one in particular where I remember squatting in front of one of my parent's graves and slowly telling them about how my day went--that one kinda stung), so by that logic grieving would be optional in all cases. I suppose it is. The part (that makes me a bit disappointed at myself and that I think is somewhat immoral) is that I distinctly remember reading the word "lost consciousness" in the header of the text message I received, assuming the worst case scenario while looking at who it was, and being immediately relieved that it wasn't anyone else in my family. While it's probably fine to favor certain family members over others, I feel like normally people wouldn't think of any positive thoughts at all in that sort of situation. ...Maybe this is just like one of those trolley problem memes, but the lack of hesitation over my thoughts seemed a bit concerning to me. ~~~ Anyways, as usual, thanks for listening/reading. Feels slightly strange that I'm posting rants to random people on the internet now that I think of it, but it's nice to get some external perspective.
