The first time I listened to this, I quit after a minute. I thought there was nothing really special that could be done with this piece. I listened again just now, and I was mistaken. The arrangement is quite remarkable and thoroughly rewarding.

😮 I'm awestruck. I've been a keyboardist since I was 8 and have learned that song but never played it that well. (and I taught basic keyboard at 16 for Ludwig/Aeolian. It was my job to find the talented ones and send them on to the more experienced teachers.) I have a T-Shirt and have been toying with the idea of buying some of your arrangements, you just convinced me.

George was in the zone on Abbey Road with this and "Something". I love that waltz time switch up for the bridge (like 6/8 and then cut time for two notes and then back to 4/4?) and of course the poignant ending.
When a person can walk outside on a sunny day, and this is the tune that pops into their head, a composer has done their job well.
