Despite the inaccurate helmet, Jesse is a great figure, and with that incredible likeness, the helmet will be under his arm anyway! Can’t wait for Fives to complete the Arc Trooper Trio!

I'm not too picky about the helmet and paint chips. I imagine him trying a different bucket with a range finder.
The lack of weathering is Hasbro being cheap, but you could argue that like any good soldier, he cleaned his armour between missions. 🙂
I have an ARC Trooper (Fordo) and even though it doesnt have paint chipping, I used some Vellejo wash paints to add weathering. I also heated and popped the helmet so I could give him a basic paint job on the head.👍
Still a great looking figure.
The first thing I did when taking Jesse out of the package was remove the range finder from the helmet. Then I grabbed a very sharp pair of sewing scissors and cut the fin off!

Jesse is a clone. Yeah, I know he's been a good clone of mine. But lately something's changed that ain't hard to define. Jesse's got himself a Twi'lek and I want to make her mine.

during a field trip at school back when i was a sophomore a few months ago before i became a junoir befofere summer ot was really hot and one of my crosshairs imperial range finder was able to get lose now i can put it on and off your can do that to get rid of the range finder or put it back on whenever or just leave it there

Hello Nate and thank you for sharing your thoughts on the new Commander Jesse figure.
I got mine about two weeks ago and he actually showed up in good condition considering he was boxed and shipped by Wally World. I've seen most of The Clone Wars but it's been a while. I'm not the super die hard fan you gentlemen are so even with the inaccurate helmet, I like Jesse. I just haven't decided if I'm going to display him with or without the helmet.

Getting Fhivvez today and hoping he is inaccurate in some way so I can break the t'internet moaning about his helmet fin is 1.5mm too long at the front and doesn't fully represent his character "expression" in a 10 year old cartoon!!!! 😂😂😂😂 I love "the community!!" ❤❤

Is the Jesse figure going to be available where you live. I'm glad he wasn't so popular that I'd miss out on him. Unfortunately 5's is a very different story, the preorder is sold out and every time I check back he is still unavailable.
I didn't see you in the stream yesterday, I'm guessing you were out with your daughter ? I was wondering if you think Hasbro will rerelease the older figures Nerdzoic was talking about and yesterday's stream went over. I'm hesitant about believing it myself but I'll be happy if they do. I need at least 10-12 of those figures right now but some are so old and need replacement.

Behind on my video commenting here and elsewhere for the last couple of weeks now. Spent a lot of my spare time recently kitbashing Endor figures, ewoks and making up Endor spaceship bridge briefing scene characters out of spare parts of figures. Got a bit obsessed a few days ago... I'm on the fence with the big news of mass re-releases... I watched yesterday's stream a couple of hours later. Pretty much every Sunday evening is now spent in service to, or standing by, daughter's social life.
I'm waiting for mine to get here still. A friend of mine managed to get one for me.

I cut off the fin and popped off the range finder.
I then also added black to the chipped paint on the helmet like the black line is showing through

"Centurions Corner" used an Ali Express Jesse fig and gave this one that helmet with a few paint tweaks.
Ironic that Fives has such a great helmet paint job. You’ll love him when he finally arrives in the US!

I agree the helmet inaccuracies are a bit annoying.
That said the range finder can literally be popped off the helmet in less than a second with no tools and without damaging the figure whatsoever. Can also be easily added back on later if desired again without any tools needed to danger of damaging the figure.
The fin is a different story of course.
However, to me the coolest thing about this particular character is easily the face tattoo and I would have never displayed him with his helmet on regardless, just to show off the face in my display.
So to me it kind of boils down to the same way I feel about the new Vader with the removeable helmet which has the inaccurate reddish eyes from the ANH look. It’s something that they should have been able to get right. No excuse for it really. But I was never going to display that Vader with his helmet on anyway. I want to see that face sculpt and print.
so at the end of the day it’s annoying but not enough to keep me from really wanting the figure on my shelf and enjoying it once it’s there.
The head details are genuinely great! I think in action poses though I'd want the helmet on. Just a really weird choice to not get it right. Helmet off on mine for now! And I agree on the Vader. Should've had the chain though! Thanks for checking out the review, Jhawk. -Justin
I got this from Walmart a couple weeks ago but haven’t gotten around to opening it yet. But after finally catching up on your reviews/videos after a 2-week hiatus on my part I’m stoked to get to this one. Just wish Hasbro had some brains and got the helmet right, but that horse has been beat to death. I’ll display mine helmet off and move on. BTW, FWITW, Walmart once again shipped my figures in a plastic bag with NO padding whatsoever and the boxes arrived crushed and beat all to hell. One box was even ripped apart open on the bottom. The figure was still there though, but man, what a sad state. As for my in-box collection, PFP and Walmart continue to destroy that part of my collection….🤦🏻♂️. Oh well…no big deal anymore. I’m so used to it by now. Love your review as always! Great job!!!! 😁
100% agreed and it sucks that Walmart keeps walmarting. Hasbro really should rethink giving them exclusives, atleast give us a choice in who could potentially destroy our packages. Thanks for watching Marky! -Nate

I think when I get mine I will just remove the range finder and cut the back of the fin. I won't be 100% accurate, but I think will be enough for me

I did that with my vintage collection one, definitely a better look than what it was originally
The figure looks still dope but all the inaccurates really make me sad. I mean it should be pretty easy to just cut of the Fin and remove the ranger but the republic logo is far away from being perfect when you compare it to pictures from season 7.
Also the german text on the back of the box got completely wrong translated. Idk what or who they used for this translation but the Order 66 part got translated so bad that it even doesn't make sense anymore.
"nach der Zerstörung des Ordens 66" really means "after the destruction of the Order 66" and "des Ordens" doesn't mean that it is a military order it says that it is a an Order like Jedi Order. Order is the same word in german and english but in germany the word "Befehl" is more accurate, because it is the right word for military terms. "Eine Order" can also mean something that your grandma gives you when she asks you to go to the grocery store to buy tomatos. It can be used in military terms, too but "Befehl" is more specific.
It pretty much means that an Order called 66 got destroyed like the Jedi Order got destroyed.
The right translation would be: "Doch nach der Ausführung des Befehls 66"
Also the TVC figure got the same inaccurate helmet.
Really interesting bit of info with the translation. Makes me wonder if they're just using Google Translate for it, or something like that. Thanks for checking out the review! -Justin

Just another reason for the fact that Jesse didn't got the love for detail he deserves from hasbro.
Hopefully we will get a new accurate version in the future for the "Clones of the Republic line"

Is amazing review hitting all the positives and negatives. That's a fantastic 501st display. Maybe one day they will fix those knee pads.... Though that is not something i'm willing to hold my breath on.

Uhm not coming from Walmart for sone of us. Honestly the Ali Express custom scratches enough of the itch. Walmart is still very much very unreliable for exclusives. Even if ordered it means very little. Both Target and Walmart are spotty at best. It will bum me out having to hunt Joe stuff but I’m okay to just skip the Hasbro Black Series stuff or find in store eventually. Or not. Not banking on finding it.

The painted chip bits don't bother me at all. Think about it. These guys probably wash and clean their armor after battles. But I doubt they are constantly repainting the lines. So they could look clean while still sporting marks from previous battles.
