Lol it’s weird, when I Interviewed Eric, he said that he was actually the one who did the decals for both the TVC fives and TBS fives, so I’m not sure what happened

I think they lack of black on the pauldron bothers me more than the decal. Either way, I'd still be happy picking up Fives. Great review!

But tbh what was really weird for me was always with the arcs, that for the phase 1.5 troopers they forgot to add those extra pouches to the belt, when they were already doing a new belt+ skipping out the additional boot armor and just painting it on is really frustrating

Another great, honest review, Nate. I’m not as familiar with their uniform colors as you, so the inaccuracies don’t bother me like you. That being said, I totally agree that the inaccuracies are head scratchers. Like, they don’t make sense. Very easy fixes on Hasbros part, so does it come down to laziness? But like you, it’s great to finally have the team complete

Yeah it was one of those blink and you miss it preorders. Kinda stupid but I think Walmart just said screw it and put the listing up. Hopefully he comes into stock like Jesse did. Thanks for watching Marc! -Nate
The only improvement for the ARC Trooper mold is a left handed blaster holding hand.
Also bicep swivel and free floating knee pads like the up coming Appo and Phase 2 clone.
All the clones need removable helmets with painted heads like these guys.

Yeah it’s a real head scratcher. It just seems like it’s cost cutting this time around which is sad because this figure is already almost 100% reuse. But yes it’s still worth it to me to get the boys all together. Thanks for watching Stephen! -Nate

I just got mine. He's the only arc trooper I've got. the inaccurate paint bugs me but at least they didn't use the wrong helmet like with Jesse. I got a bunch of 501st troopers from Ollie's and he looks great with them.

I'm not super familiar with The Clone Wars series, I've watched most of the series but that was years ago. Fives does look pretty good and he should have a black paldren, yes. I'm hopeful that I'll be able to get Fives eventually, I've got Jesse but I've never gotten Echo and he is way too expensive, hoping for a rerelease but not counting on it.

Thanks Tom! I’m honestly surprised Echo has not been rereleased yet. I think Fives will be easy to get eventually, Jesse has been sitting in stock on Walmarts website for a while so I think that’s a good sign! -Nate
it seems with black series we can get near perfect figures like malgus and then the clones for some reason are sooo inconsistent with accuracy its almost like a separate company makes the clone. you'd think somewhere down the line someone would point out the inaccuracies and I think it stands out like a soar thumb with fives.
It’s frustrating for sure. It almost seems like they just don’t care about the clones that much. Almost all of them have one issue or another and it’s getting kinda ridiculous at this point. Thanks for watching Skywalker!! -Nate
I FINNIALLY GOT MY FIVES the other time i said so i accidentally asked my mom to order a jesse so now i have one jesse out and one in package still in my new display case i got one or two weeks ago i love him he just as beautiful as i last saw big bro no homo but he looks so good

As always, fantastic honest review. Yes those are problem points. Hard not to wonder are details missed because of cost, or missed because of lazyness.... But I will be happy to have shelf. My personal Fives got delayed so fingers crossed there. Anyways great job Nate.

Great review! Just got my Fives last week, if I have any issue with it is really the fit of the helmet isn’t as good as the Black Series Echo and Fives’ helmet feels softer. Still a great figure nonetheless

I was initially happy that Fives was a reality and it sure looks great with the rest of the boys. After comparing both the TVC and TBS, the inconsistencies keep me away from purchasing it at all. I do wish he did have more weapon accessories which is always a plus for posing. But that helmet, when it was done more accurate on a smaller, less expensive product, is a major disappointment.

Placed an order for this and Tech (mercenary) last night after being out of stock constantly. I checked an hour after placed order and both figures went out of stock again. Tech has been shipped but Fives hasn’t. I’m just afraid they’ll cancel Fives like they did to my Jesse order. It sucks that Walmart sellers are buying these figures and reselling them on the Walmart App for $50 knowing the demand.

I would like to get into TVC or Black series. The only problem is I don’t really know how to buy clone troopers as they are never in stock at any store I go to.
It’s unfortunate but most clones are exclusive figures that you have to preorder. Some are Walmart and others are Target. I’d recommend joining our discord and getting connected with the community! We’ve got alerts when figures like these go up. Thanks for watching Shawn! -Nate
My only reasoning for Jesse having chipped paint is the armour saw more battle in The Clone Wars.

Mine hasn't processed yet but hopefully soon. Despite the inaccuracies across the board for these 501rst Arch Troopers they look so bad ass on the shelf!
I would like to see what Veiltoys could do with these Arch troopers...i hate saying this but i feel at this point they would be better or at least be fully accurate to the source!

We KNOW you can do better, so DO BETTER! As an American 🇺🇸, I take pride when you guys get it right and sometimes outdo the imports, but cringe and SMH when you make silly errors like this as if they're not finished. Level up TBS, especially since prices have gone up, yet it seems like quality is hit & miss.
