My 2016 1.5Ecoboost SE had Standard Mirror Turn Signals, Puddle Lamps & All 4 Auto Up & Down Windows. 2017 they added features but took some away. I now have a 2018 Platinum Trim with the 2.0Ecocboost. I Love these cars & I used to be a Honda Fan Boy lol

I really like the new facelift. I'd want an "S" 2.5 though, after seeing how hard my grandfather's EcoBoost Escape is to get the oil filter off I'd never have one.

Great video. I just love this car. The only thing that I dislike is the dial shifter. Its definitely a shift from my '14 fusion. Also does anyone else think the dial is likely to become faulty after a while and get recalled??? I set up a experiment where i had a robot turn a dial until it stopped working and it was after 3,000 turns. The quality of my dial was fairly descent. Now i have no idea of the quality of the Ford dial used in the Fusion but just something to think about.
Gamer XxSniperXx You'll get used to the dial shifter. I had a '12 Fusion and got my '17 Fusion in December. I hated the dial shifter, but I got used to it now. I would sometimes put it in the wrong gear 😂 and I hated it because I didn't have a place to rest my hand. However, like I said, you'll get used to it!

@@chrisper3148 I still have it 5yrs later…just changed the battery last year and replacing o2 sensors. I’ve updated reverse and license plates lights to LED. Next I’ll be updating the side mirror lights to LED.

Bought the focus SEL 2017 and it's perfect except that it's missing the keyless entry and remote start lol but I'm definitely gonna get it equipped in a couple weeks.
really wanted a 2020 ford fusion SEL, but might end up getting a 2017 SE. from my understanding they are all the same, and ford doesn’t make these anymore which is a bummer. thank you for the video!

I have one in black. I love it.
My grandma has a 2016 Fusion se ruby red technology package. Bought leased with 120miles on the odometer and was at the dealership for 4 months supposively before my grandparents bought it. Has 42,000 miles now and my grandma only has 2-3 payments left on it before she has to return it back to ford. Lease is up April of 2019. My grandma can either buy it out or she can trade it in and get something newer with more options. I think she said she wanted an SUV like maybe a Ford Edge, or an escape. I’m thinking maybe she should get the 2019 Ford Fusion se and get one with the Ecoboost engine, and the appearance package with the factory spoiler and of course the fog lights and the rear sensing system and the sync 3 touchscreen and LED signature lighting and sunroof. Maybe even the blacked out rims. Or an SEL.

Excellent review as always & a solid car.
I hope the small engines with a turbo work out ok.It dont seem they will last as long as a normal size non turbo engine. Got a 2016 focus with the manual its ok have had 43mpg highway. Had a 2003 model and it was a good one . Seems there are some good fords out there now but not a fan of the ecoboost engine or the powershift transmission.

Well the air bags don't work in these cars or the one my sister had didn't.

Yes I do believe it was the SE with technology package. To answer your second question, all the trims have bluetooth integration. Hope this helps. Contact me if you have any more questions.

i never understood why the fusion didn’t come standard with passive entry like mustangs and others do. why have a key fob and push start if you still have to get the key fob out to unlock the car?
I own this vehicle. No need to take out the keyfob to unlock. All you do is touch the door handle and it unlocks no matter where the keyfob is on your body.
AIR MARSHALL on some trims it doesn’t have passive entry, i had a brand new one for a rental last year and i had to use the fob to get in each time. only some package includes the passive entry🤷🏻♂️
@@john-davidgray680 not sure, but drives me up a wall. I just use the num pad on the driver side at this point to unlock it as its still quicker than me digging in my pocket

I wonder the Infotainment in the SE ecoboost is the same as titanium??
sync 3 is pretty standard throughout the trims except for apps that may be installed
I don't like the shifter, it feels/looks like if could easily change with the slightest bump. It's better when you have to push in a button and then pull a lever
After having it for a few months there is not really a time where you might bump it tbh. I still dont like it as I prefer a manual transmission but alas this is was the only car worth buying used on the lot at the time :/
