The new Neato XV-11 Vacuum Cleaner includes revolutionary robotics intelligence that assures that this domestic robot cleans the entire floor, carefully avoiding furniture, walls and other objects. The Neato XV-11 is designed to meticulously clean floors on a daily basis; ensuring owners enjoy neater, healthier homes and more free time for themselves. Using its laser-based Room Positioning System (RPS) Technology, the new robot vacuum cleaner has a 360-degree view of a room, allowing it to map the most efficient cleaning path by analyzing walls, furniture, doorways and other obstacles up to four meters away.
Thanks a lot! Over the years of exploitation, one of the screws holding the brush motor had loose. And it caused a loud noise while cleaning as it being attracting/repelling by the working brush motor's stator. This instruction was really useful to disassemble, fix it and assemble everything back.
i love my neato! it is like the maid has been there with nice straight lines everywhere, and i have to give kudos to the folks at the robot shop, when my neato had reoccurring rps errors the folks had a new bot to me with in the week and also provided me with the postage to send my old unit back for repairs (after they already replaced mine!) the customer service is awesome. i love my neato, she brings me joy! i recommend neato for anyone who is looking for a vac bot.
This is Neato !
In this case, we would suggest that you ask an exchange under warranty from the store where it was purchased from. If the product was purchased with RobotShop, please contact us via our support center.
I believe that the two screens below the drive wheel are not located in the same location as in your video for my V12 version of the Neato. I cannot get the top cover off because I believe the same two screws in your video are located in a different location on my V12 version. I cannot get at the two screws because there is large enough piece of plastic covering/right above the screws with a very small space in between. Any thoughts or help would be appricated. Thanks
I bought Neato Signature Pro recently, it works well on the 1st cleaning , then we moved it to another place to do the cleaning which is also well. We scheduled it to do the cleaning 2 days later but this time Neato does not work, it cant leave the base and keep telling "clear my path" , after we pressed Ok button Neato tends to climb up the wall and lost all sensing, runs not smoothly too. We called the customer service and did what they said , reset, put it in a closed room but cant help
We have not seem many button issues with the Neato as of yet. usually when robots do not turn on, it is related to a charging issue or an issue with the LCD.
@Exploited89 In theory, if you do not break the seals near the Neato wheels, your warranty should be fine. Although, taking any screws out is usually not recommended. We suggest cleaning the robot with a small compressor or a can of compressed air.
Hi, do you know if removing the motor's plastic cover to clean inside voids the warranty?
@Exploited89 Which motor are you referring to? To get access to pretty much any of the motors would require you to disassemble the robot to some degree. Since this would most likely void the warranty, if you ever need to take advantage of your warranty with the manufacturer we do not recommend it.
when will neato make a lawn mowing bot? i am also in search of a hardwood floor scrubber too! neato has a customer for life!
We have seen very few button issues on the Neato. If it is not turning on, this may be caused by a charging or battery issue. There could also be an issue with the LCD board. Is your robot still under warranty?
@RobotShopTV I mean the vacuum motor, removing the panel (0:50) voids the warranty? It's just a couple of screws...
So will you sell just the laser unit on top ?
Would there be a reason to upgrade xv-11 to xv-21 buy just buying a brush and filter ? Does xv-21 has a better board, nav system, sucker ?
The XV-11 can certainly be upgraded to an XV-21 by installing a pet brush and pet filter. The robot itself is exactly the same with the same motors and sensors.
RobotShopTV I noticed that xv-11 has a hard time getting on rugs, instead it just goes around the rug, Where is it possible, to find parts from one of the roller ? i have a little piece that hooks the spring to the roller broke off. Where is it possible to find one ?
Nikita Lunev We sell Neato parts at the following link: www.robotshop.com/en/neato-replacement-parts.html When you mention roller, do you mean the brush or the wheel? The Neato works best on hard floors and low pile carpet. It is not made to clean high pile rugs.
thank you very much robotshop, but i lose purchasing document ,how i download update software ? you have xv signature pro update send me plz, thanks
+usman azhar Neato Robotics has permanently removed the software updates from their website recently. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
hi bro, my neato clean only corner not clean center my room tell me please ,what problem what i do??
+usman azhar The problem can be caused by the RPS or the battery. Batteries can last between 1 to 2 years. We suggest you to update your robot, using the Neato Tool Updater. You can follow the instructions on our blog : www.robotshop.com/blog/en/updating-neato-15089
HI - Our neato has dirt bin sensor issues. The toggle sensor does not recognize the bin when it is replaced. You have to forcefully press down on the black rubber sensor tip to get the unit to start. Anyone know what is this part number and if it is it easily replaced? Thx.
It is not a difficult part to change, it requires some basic manual skills to open the robot and close it after. The part is the Dust Bin Sensor which unfortunately we do not have on our web store. It can be found through a search in google. You can try be opening the robot and cleaning the sensor before replacing it.
Most definitley dust on the contact. Spray the button with contact cleaner
@vince086 We think it would be a very popular product and will carry it if and when it is available. The manufacturer has not indicated any interest in selling it on its own, nor set a date of availability. We are trying to find comparable products to add to our catalogue.
Anyone know about button issues?
