The thing that bugs me is Boone is an awful manager and everyone knows it, but this team is so good it can carry him on its back. This stupid easy trip to the World Series (I mean, the Guardians???) is gonna make Cashman think he’s good enough for an extension, which is just gonna hurt the Yankees chances for success in the longterm. Surely there was anyone else in that bullpen that could have come in

He placed it right on the edge of the zone too, it wasn't like he gave him a meatball down the middle. Let’s not forget Boone put in a dude that’s never closed, to close out game one of World Series. Against one of the best lineups assembled….smooth like mayo at 90 degrees

Feel bad for the pitcher , but I mean Freddy is my favorite player in the whole world. I love him. He’s amazing. I hate that he plays for the Dodgers, but when he got traded, we had to live

I hope we get 6 more games this season.

Thank you for noticing that, most comments here are “Boone sucks” or “Cortez is coming off an injury” instead of ya know “pitch was middle in and then went 400 feet”
