Hey man - new sub here. Trying to understand what my niche will be. Torn between two topics - golf and personal development. Been scared to post videos, but my wife gave the edict that we will post three to five video this month (her channel is about reviews). So I will take all the help I can get! All the best with the new channel!
The best advice is to just start and gain experience on the field essentially. Just start posting and learning how the analytics work. I just started this channel, posted like 3 videos, and now one video in particular is starting to grow rapidly in an upward trend. I haven’t checked this channel in about a month and it’s just been growing. However my first channel took me 4 years to get into this type of growth. It just take a lot of time honestly and making a ton of mistakes along the way. I used to watch tons of “how to grow on RUclips” videos and still the best experience was my own from just getting in there and trying new things.
Bougie Kenny, same dilemna here. Except for the golf part. Me on the outside looking in, you can combine both as many golf instructors have done with their students in building their students’ mindsets. I’ve read a few golf/personal development books so it could work. Now if you wanna keep ‘em separate - it should be easy until you start pulling from personal experiences, then they’ll overlap - but so what. I’ve done content but it’s still on my phone. Lol! It’s always easier to give advice on the outside right? 😅 Well, if you haven’t started yet Brotha, hopefully this helps. 🤞🏾
Thank you so much I deeply appreciate how open you are with challenges/info and suggestions. I've tried RUclips in the past but after a few lemons life had for me I packed it all up. I've decided that 2024 is "the year of doing" and so a few days ago I created a channel with a logo and bio. I'm almost done with my script for an intro and pushing to release the video on the 1st Jan to kick start the new year.
Keep it UP man. Look it took me 4 years to get my channel to 5k subscribers right? Last month I was at 5k subscribers and this month my channel “Arturo Reacts” has jumped up to 40k subscribers 🤩 once the algorithm finds your place and your people it only goes up from there but you gotta keep at it and pumping out content and evolving your content over time.
Also RUclips shorts are a cheat code. My shorts have been getting millions of views this month and it is INSANE to me how fast everything started to pick up all of a sudden. Go check my channel out and see the results and notice I have like 400+ videos uploaded 😂 it’s a long game and you may hit burn out from time to time like I did but trust me… just keep pushing and one day it’s going to take off. Just keep fueling the engine till it’s ready

Yo. Do you know if you make money when paying for ads to show your videos? Because I have paid to show some of my videos on my channel (of course..), and those hours do not count towards the 4000 hours (and 1000 subs) that I need to start making money. So I am guessing it might apply also to making money when you pay for ads (hope you know what I mean... I suck at explaining things sometimes). Subbed to your channel. :)
I’ve never had any experience with paying for ads so I’m not really sure man. Sorry I can’t help you out more with that
