For anyone watching, he’s geocaches often have goodies, unless it’s a first to find bonus, it’s not there for you to just take. It is generally proper etiquette to leave something of equal or greater value behind for others to find. If you do take something without giving more, please only take one thing and pay it forward to another cache. I’ve seen people empty out caches before leaving behind nothing but a logbook and it’s rather sad. (The only real exception being travel bugs. PLEASE DO take travel bugs and drop them in another cache)

You definitely need to try doing geocaching in Moscow or st Petersburg, it’s so much fun, and the policemen will do everything to help you find the caches

SOME of them get SUPER creative and tiny. theres two that my mom and step dad. got stuck on. one the hint was simply BDI. mom been looking and looking and one the drive home one night it clicked. she practically shouted to turn around. and go to this one place BDI is BIG DAMN INDIAN. we had a local shop that had a BIG DAMN INDIAN statue... guess where it was.. another was hidden in a cut out puck lock on the outside of a exterior door. it was behind a electric store and a hill side. better the hill and the concrete the gps was wonky it clicked when.... why is there a PAD LOCK on a fire escape?? it was just a magnet..... sneaky sob.
