after going through depression which is the worst phase of my life, i come to know the importance of mental health. MH is a serious issue which no can take it for granted. i sincerely appreciate dr shivin sir for this great initiative. thank you so much
High time to address this issue. I myself suffer from anxiety disorder since 2020 and I have been on benzos. Mental health issue can be very debilitating . This year i could not clear upsc mains and this has further aggravated my health. Kudos to you for this great initiative. And godspeed for your interview 🙂
I don't know how to thank you for this. You are like an angel😊. Anxiety disorders are common but our society don't consider it as an ailment. They think it is normal. I am suffering from anxiety disorder ( symptoms- insomnia, increased heart beat, weakness in limbs warming sensation in back blockage in chest) but everyone is saying it is normal.
I'm happy that I subscribed to your channel! Once you get into IAS officially, you'll see many people following you after validation only! But I know you'd definitely clear this exam!
When one has graduated from college and preparing for upsc then low phases are common bcos while in college one feels connected to conventional education system.. later one feels unachieved
Thank you Dr Shivin. You are Godsent. I'll pray that you get your desired service & posting this year. Even if you don't, you are an awesome human being. 🙏🙏
Its something i am waiting for... my mental state is Affecting my memmory..and im unable to use my hardwork efficiently . It will be of great help. .good luck ..🙏
i wish you post this on the upsc channel itself..i have lost more than year to depression ..my mental health affected my physical health long term stress levels caused pcod and thyroid and gut issues now i realized everything is connected in my body and i have to take care of everything
Got a chance to meet him today, such a humble and down to earth personality he is.. and also thanks for taking up issues like mental health, this is much needed .. More power to you 😇
Thank you for this I know how it's feels to be in depression and anxiety attacks & suffocation Feeling of running out of time Waiting for next video You are a gem of a person ❤️
Great intiative. Only person suffer with this can raise such issues. I hope everyone including me and you Dr. Shivin will always have strong mindset to cure such problem permanently. Also thanks for replying my mail before. We will shine one day. More power to you 🙏🤞💪💥✨
Sameeee. Every 2 months before the prelims in the evening and night i used to be so nervous and so anxious. I have been waking up early in the morning at 5 since my childhood but i don't know this time around 1-2 months before prelims i swear i found it so difficult to get up in the morning and sit alone and study. I was so scared to be alone. I don't know what it is but looking back it was so scary that i don't wish to live it again
I typed a big comment on his telegram channel how important the mental health is . This option was rejected by so many aspirants but it was what an aspiranta needs and i didn't thought he would have responded this quick. Thanking you isn't enough. He isn't doing for money, he is really doing a service to youth of india, before he got into service.. I can see you had a very potential to transfer our country youth is very next level.
Mere pass words nahi hai tumhe acknowledge karne karne k liye.... Just showing respect by bowing down my head Shivam....thank you.... Mujme kabhi itni himmat nahi thi ki me esa koi channel laa saku or duniya ko aware kar saku....aap toh service join karne se pehle hi service provide karne lage brother.... God blss you 🙏
Hi sir last 3 days im not doing any thing or i just don't wanna do anything, my love life is hampering on career specially not able focus on study, plz help guide do sth, its humble request 🙏
As you have already agreed you come from privileged background and you found resources at an arm length it is certain that it’s our inner self as taught in psychology which is responsible bahar se kitna bhi kuch bhi available ho inner happiness strength is very much required and is a necessity especially in this journey where you find yourself alone when you need someone to understand your daily struggles and deadlines of syllabus also it is mandatory I mean the well being of a person to sustain the life in a productive way.

Sir i lives in a joint family. Always there is someone talking Or shouting Or arguing and now days i am getting irritated and aggressive very easily. And wanna stay calm but at that very moment I became very aggressive. Can you give me some advice
I just quit my UPSC journey yesterday. I failed prelims twice, and I stuck by for this long too cause I told myself if i just work harder I will eventually clear it. But since past 2 months I realized I wake up everyday and my first feeling when I realize I was sleeping and now life has restarted is a sinking feeling and my heart beginning to race. I just couldnt take it. I have become so scared of this exam and its process. Somedays when Im dreaming and I begin to dream about upsc, I get wide awake instantly. It started happening so much and so often that i felt like im going to get a heartattack. Now i have quit, though i feel slightly relieved but still very depressed. I have been applying for jobs since 20 days but havent heard back from anyone. My parents are so disappointed that I am choosing "an easy way out" but i think I just dont have the emotional capacity to do this, and no confidence that I can do anything at all. I will keep applying for jobs and try to get out of my cycling of overthinking and try to meditate or some shit so my heart rate becomes normal. I realized recently that I have developed anxiety- something I didnt even believe in a few years ago. Its the worst feeling in the world cause i cannot even begin to feel an ounce of optimism about anything in my life. I started this prep straight out of college and now im going to be 25 soon, and I am unemployed, fucking depressed and a huge loser. Add to that everyone in my family is either a PCS officer or an army officer, i want to die in shame and not talk to anyone. I worked as a freelance writer for 4 years in college, but now even going back to a measly writers job feels so depressing- moreover, no one has replied to my applications. Things I enjoyed, i now view them from my parents' lens- so the things I took pride in- like my creativity that existed at some point- I feel like they wont get me anywhere. Dont ever start this journey if you are willing to make this a do or die thing i guess. I regret coming home and listening to my parents about this. I will never be the person I was before I started this. It is the worst feeling in the world. Being terrified of this exam, the fact that every failure takes away 2 years of your life, and then being terrified of whats going to happen now that this is over. fml.
Hi Oorjita. Please try to overcome your fear by meditating, taking a break or talking with yours closest people with whom you can speak your heart out. I know its a very difficult phase but get the courage to stand again. Just give this attempt as your last attempt and don't get bothered about the results. Focus on today, take small steps and ultimately focus on the process not on the results. Give this attempt as your best shot so that there is no regret in future. All the best and keep shining⭐✨

Why 😔don't you speak in hindi? This could have helped us forwarding your precious views to our parents. There was and will be a communication gap between the sons and fathers of India. Your videos can fulfill those gaps. But the low literacy rate of most of our parents is a hindrance. You must understand that it is not us but the parents, who are directly or indirectly needs to be convinced about the mental health aspects. Their understanding of our condition brings calmess upon our faces. () Plz make some videos in pure hindi language also because most of our parents are not fluent with foreign language, and it is they who needs to be taught
