I just rented a nearly brand new Vado on vacation and it is a great bike, but a little too powerful for me. I own a Vado SL and it is exactly what I wanted--a bike I could ride 95% of the time with no power assist and just a bit when I am facing a challenging hill. The Vado seemed about 4 times more powerful. Even in the ECO mode I could ride up some pretty long duanting hills. In the SPORT mode, I would exert almost no effort in hills I would never try on my SL without the full power mode and even then I would be sweating.
@@djo9277 Internal Gear Hub. Belt drive. “Automatic transmission”. Weather proof. Little maintenance, every 2 years. Ultra long durability. (10,000+ miles/month). Something I need as I travel vast distances in remote regions. Specialized Turbo Vado IGH 5.0 is the #1 Topgun in the segment.
Trek Verve is a much better bike. You don’t need shocks with the large tires, just adds even more weight to a very heavy bike. The handle bars aren’t adjustable so you can’t bring them forward or back for comfort! The Trek Verve is completely adjustable with one screw. So many misleading videos on e-bikes. Do your homework and test ride several brands before making this expensive purchase.
My sister has a Como and I have a Turbo Vado SL , they are both excellent and a blast to ride
I would have to agree on quality. Just phenomenal. I have the Tero X 5.0. And we are just about to take delivery of a Como 3.0 for my wife

Internal gear hub-a belt drive not a chain, less maintenance and quieter and less shift worry
Is it true ! Best

Oui c’est vrai !! ces vélos sont vraiment excellents. Les vitesses automatiques c’est un gros progrès pour le vélo électrique.
