Birkin and Kelly are both annoying to open and close. Lady Dior...is SO beautiful to look at, and SO annoying to get in and out of! If I need a degree in engineering to figure out open/close, I probably don't want it.

It's funny because they changed the zipper opening because people found it annoying. Replaced with flap closure , which is equally as annoying. 😂
The Lady Dior bag isn't wide enough. If the handles aren't perfectly balanced it just falls over and it looks embarrassing.
Totally agree with you about the Chanel classic flap. I only want single flap bags and ones that are easy to get into. Great video! ❤

No I get that. That's my issue with the mini alexa. Just too many steps to open and close. Two straps the turn lock. I guess I just want a bag I can just get in and out of.
In 2017, i remember everyone in london was carrying a Loro piana L19, bought it in 2019 before the crazy price increase, best bag btw, it was also always available in loro piana outlets, now its very hard to get and they stopped selling it in outlets

Ohhh yes, that Extra Pocket bag 😂😭 aka 'new mini kelly' was just awful in every way!!....The mini Jodie is very annoying when it comes to the zipper, it's very stiff, but thats my only complaint about it, i'm hoping that the larger ones aren't as bad - Great video Jess!! 😄🤍 xx
Hi ---- It's the postman's lock on that mini alexa that drives me bananas. It's so difficult to close when you're wearing it crossbody. If you go to push it closed it just keeps sinking in on itself. I even got an insert that only helped a little bit. I need to use both hands to fasten it shut. And it's not the kind of bag that you can just leave open. And the buckle straps are magnetic. But the magnets on mine are so strong that I have to pry them open. So it's the two straps you have to pull open, it's the turn lock! Just has a lot going on. I get the most compliments on that bag because the color I think. (Lawn green) But good grief, is it fussy!!!!!

Interesting video! I used to buy even luxury bags only for practicality/functionality… now I’ll make some concessions if I truly love the bag! (Kelly, etc!) I once heard that the definition of true luxury is that you have someone else carrying your other bags, etc, so you really don’t have to worry about the fussiness of the bag or needing a shoulder strap, etc 🤣

Love my BV Teen Jodie, the zipper is smooth as butter and easy to use! I also love the Alma BB and don’t have issues with it 🤔 Great video!
I love my Alma BB. It took me years to buy one and now I wonder why I took so long. I generally wear it top handle but the few times I have worn it cross body it’s been great. So nope this one is not annoying at all. Many of the Dior bags are just a pain to use so as much as I love the way they look I can’t buy them. Argh the mini Jody, yeah looks great but would drive me nuts.
Now that I know the Chanel classic flap is annoying to use, I definitely don’t won’t a new one now because I am a practical kind of person. But I must admit, they are very beautiful to look at. Yes, small bags are cute, but definitely annoying to use due to space.

I just leave it halfway open. I never have it fully zipped. I don't have any issues with it. But I don't find that I wear it with the extra strap. As Jess said, it doesn't sit right. Adore it as a top handle
I have the black Alma BB in Epi and I think that it holds a lot and is easy peasy to use:)

Nano/Micro/Mini/Small…..I always have to get out my measuring tape. One reason is a gave to carry reading glasses. In the US, on average, individuals require reading glasses by their early forties. Reading glasses and a soft case will measure 6 to 7 inches long. I know that these do not work in many nano/micro bags.
My most annoying is my mini capucines. Yes I love it but that flap is so annoying. I have the BV mini Jodie and agree opening is a 2nd job. But I keep mine open and nothing falls out. Also when I wear mine, I know I’m not going to be opening and closing it a lot. If that’s going to happen it’ll take something else
Good idea for the heart bag to wear it as an accessory and have another bag for functionality

The mini Kelly is definitely annoying, but like you said, the Kelly retourne is much easier to manage. I prefer it to sellier. What I don’t like about the Alma and the Bolide for dealing with both, it’s the zipper that goes between the handles. It makes it more difficult to open in my opinion. I learned that this shape and kind of bags really annoy me. To me the CF is not really annoying. I find it easy to use personally. Agree with the mini bags, for having the extra mini coco handle, it’s pretty much just decorative at that point.🤣 Birkin to me it’s an other bag that I find easy to use but I never close it and don’t even see the point to close this bag actually.

No plans to buy just yet. More so in the research and saving phase
tough one!!! bolide is good because of the shoulder strap! garden party is very light and easy to open! garden party 30 is my fav size and bolide 25 is my fav bolide size!
@@Jessiestyle I love the bolide because of the zipper and its my #1 option. I emailed Hermes last night and they responded by saying bolides do come up on the website but go super fast. I have to admit, you inspired me because I never heard of these bags before I saw your channel. I love the classic-ness of them and the quality of the leather.

Mulberry closure annoying
I find opening and closing the Alma BB annoying. It’s a two hand job and I prefer a bag that I can open and close with one hand. Also the way the long strap pulls the bag to sit weird I don’t like. The classic flap on the other hand I don’t find annoying but being able to cross body it would be a great option.

Those buckles on the Mulberry Alexa are not magnetic. You have to actually unbuckle them like a belt.

@@Jessiestyleno that’s not true. You twist the turn lock, and then lift the two straps which are magnetic. You do not have to unbuckle them like belt straps!!!
It's the turn lock that's the pain. You need to use both hands to get it shut. Someone suggested an insert, But even with that it's just fussy. It's just not an easy bag.
@@dva5610 The magnets are so strong at least on mine. I have to pry them open.
@@_Tracy_Byou do NOT need to use both handles? You just place the hole over the flap and turn the lock? It can be done with one hand. Perhaps 2 is needed if you have coordination issues or a disability?
The alma bb is too stiff for me and I don't love how the crossbody strap hooks on opposite sides of the handles.. the neo is better for me because it's a bit softer❤

All Alma’s are annoying to me… the two zippers are fidgety and you need both hands to mess with it. Cute but not easy to use.
