Hi, I loved this tutorial! It's very clear, very understandable, and I love that you filmed this in a forest! It was so relaxing to hear the birds chirping in the background :)
Jayda you are my go-to for patterns for gifts. This is actually going to be a Christmas gift for my best friend this year. She loves the fairy aesthetic and enjoys when I make her homemade gifts. Thank you for always having something whimsical to make ❤
Just made this for a friend's birthday after I realized there was no way I was going to finish my original project in time, but I still wanted her to have something to open today. The headband worked up quickly and was a great tutorial - and she loved it! Now she gets two presents (and I might just have to make one for myself...)!
Jayda InStitches ...thank you for explaining in a way that I can easily follow...im late in life finding my love of crocheting...im 49...now I found something to do that I love...thank you...thank you!!!
I love it. You're such a likable person, and I love how you explain what you are doing. Your tutorials are very easy to follow for a beginner like me. I love your dress. That's stunning. Thank you for all you do. Love from Laura in England. Xxx
Just made this and it turned out really cute. I personally dont wear things like this, but I think my 11 year old niece might like it. Thanks for the tutorial
I've made similar chain strands that needed to connect with chain still hanging on each side. Instead of tying them together, I prefer to slip stitch them together where the ends need to connect, then continue my second hanging strand if I'm using the chain as a headband. So, just a bit of a tip for everyone. This is super cute! Really well made tutorial. I appreciate that. :)
Eden D Neat tip Eden! In order to use your tip, one would have to make sure they keep trying the headband on around their head for sizing (leaving a little tail at the first end) before they decide where to slip stitch back into the chain. It definitely takes out an extra step :)
Once you learn what a single chain measures as according to gauge of thread/yarn and hook, you don't have to keep measuring as much. Takes practice, but eventually you get used to different measurements. I've measured so many different heads of friends and family. Lol Now, I just look at people and make a guestimate. ;)
Also, thanks for responding and not being offended. I've had people get really upset with me for sharing things that I've learned and found to be easier. I don't do it to be rude, just to try to help out a little.
Hi Mary, What a cute idea! We have another daisy you might want to try out too, since you're redecorating! You can find it here: ruclips.net/video/333pOdYqu5o/видео.html
Jayda InStitches yes I have made several of them and I'm making some for accents to attach to the wall above my closet and my door. It's kinda going to be like a field of daisies but with purple walls lol. As you can tell I LOVE daisies and both of your videos were sort of my inspiration for my new room redesign
I ADORE this headband!!!! I'm making one for me and my baby girl!! and BTW I love the pretty little stars u put on . You're so pretty! love the dress too. Are you sure you're not my sister in another life? lol
did you ever crochet a wider headband like about 1 and half inch wide or so? Tried different ones but just do not work up right and you things look so easy and going to try somw of them especially the socks and maybe sweater, thanks for all you do just wish patterns were in written form also cause I would like to take it with me to work on but videos are so great and love them to so I see where my mistake may be
Linda Denton Hi again Linda :) Be sure to check out the Videos listing on my RUclips Channel homepage for my complete library of tutorials. I've done 2 other headband tutorials thus far, one with ties and one that goes all the way around your head (with or without ears!) and better suited to cooler weather :)
Hi Chris, fabric glue might be a better option, especially if you want to wash it down the road. But sewing in a case like this is always the best choice 😁
@@JaydaInStitches OK I did sew the flowers on to the vine...easier than I thought. I made the vine with a deep purple instead of green for an 11 yr old neighbor's birthday present...came out good. 💕
HI Anabelle, what a pretty idea for a matched pair! We just did a barefoot sandals tutorial :) You can find it here: ruclips.net/video/aJaFzgVHWVM/видео.html
Would this pattern work well if i use red heart super saver yarn? I used all my yarn allowance for this month *giggle* so i cnt get the colors i need in cotton
Hi Briana! You can certainly make this project using acrylic, but you might find it a bit on the scratchy side (especially if you're wearing it in your hair for very long!). But there's a neat little trick you can try - after you make your headband, you can give it a gentle rinse in the sink (using cool water) with some hair conditioner. That should soften the fibers :)
There are dozens of people who do crochet tutorials but you make them so fun! You're so bubbly and upbeat.
Thank you :)!
You have the most graceful crochet I have ever seen. It's kind of mesmerizing.
Hi Bell, thank you so much 😊
My granddaughter is 4 and will love this once I crochet it, she loves long flowey dresses so this will suit her. Great tutorial as always!!!!

Eden D the best part about making and sharing crafting skills is the conversations it opens up with other people! :)
I agree! I appreciate you! :)

I just redid my room and I'm using a daisy motif so I'm gonna make this as decoration for my shelf and window😊

Hi Nikki, I used Bernet Handicrafter cotton, 4 ply, worsted weight. Its about a size 4 on the yarn chart :)
