He is considered one of the greatest classical composers of all time. Miyako, who composes a lot of Lovebites’ music, is a professional-level concert pianist, and was originally going to make classical music her career. When she was 18, she picked up a guitar, and is now (quite obviously) an elite-level guitarist. I think it’s *because* she studied classical piano for 15 of her first 18 years that Miyako is so good on the guitar. Watch her little finger when she’s shredding, it’s positioned much differently to Midori’s. Revolutionary Etude was written as a left hand exercise I understand. So she has built up such ambidextrous skills that she obviously found it less difficult than someone learning guitar from scratch, no prior musical experience. You’re going to love her even more when I tell you that she then taught herself to play guitar from a book. No lessons. At least that’s what I’ve been told elsewhere great reaction to the best band in existence.
The choir in the end is backing track but I'm sure that the crowd is singing along. The piano sweeps in the song is also backing track. Lovebites use backing tracks whenever it needs. I don't mind it. It makes the sound on the concerts much better..... I do admire Haruna on the drums and her playing to the, I assume, click track in this speed.....

Just an amazing band. Totally in love with them. They have not put out a bad song. Winds of Transylvania is a favorite of mine as well. Guitar solo in that song is fantastic. But yeah Miyako is a classic trained pianist. Such talent. Anyway this whole band is just perfect.
10:47 the point you bring up here is what I consider LOVEBITES 'secret weapon' in making their Metal more 'comfortable' for those who are not Metal oriented, by letting Asami's vocals take a more 'melodic-ballad' pace, soaring over the top of the frantic guitars & relentless dbl-kick work of Haruna. I call their 'rhythm' a moving-platform that allows the soloists to build upon it. If the drums & guitars are replaced with simple chord changes at the same tempo, it could be a ballad. Numerous songs have this feature, Shadowmaker for 1. It 'softens' the 'jumping-on-a-fast-moving-train' experience. Rising is another ruclips.net/video/6nci8KtXJPk/видео.html , and has the most encouraging, uplifting lyrics in Metal, imo. From the same show as Swan Song. What they do in one show is impressive in stamina, especially Haruna! I just love Midori's guitar-work accompanying the choral segment near the end. She is so fluid moving through techniques!

That Etude is a piece of music a lot of piano teachers give to their students to increase the strength & dexterity of the left hand. Now when you take that left hand and place it on a guitar fretboard, combined with the musical genius that is Miyako, you get what we have here. Midori, on the other hand, spent quite some time studying classical guitar. That's where her skills & musical mind comes from. That Roland piano is actually a digital electronic piano. Apparently she had a bit of trouble getting used to the weight & feel of the keys. Quite different to the usual acoustic piano.
Chopin's song that Miyako(guitar / keyboard) played as an intro is "Etude OP10, No12", which is generally called "Revolutionary Etude". In 1831, a rebellion by some officers and civilians against the Polish government under the control of the Russian Empire failed due to direct Russian intervention. Chopin is informed of this news during his journey. He lost his place to return. When Russian troops invaded Warsaw, Chopin's agents announced "Etude OP10, No12" in Paris. People called it a "revolutionary etude" because the agents exaggerated and promoted the song. Miyako composed "Swan Song" with reference to this "Revolutionary Etude" and Dvorak's "From the New World". Former ballerina Asami (vocal) wrote a poem with the image of "Swan Lake" on the basis of the historical background of "Revolutionary Etude". "Swan Song" is a requiem dedicated to the warriors who fought to regain their hometown, and is a masterpiece that only LOVEBITES can produce. By the way, Asami seems to produce a high tone without having to look up. She seems to have become a habit because she always sang upwards when she was in the high notes.

Lovebites are an awesome band! I would love to see you react to another of the hottest all female rock/metal Japanese bands called Nemophila. Suggestions for a first time reaction to them would be Revive, Raitei, or Dissension. They also have a new single called Adabaya coming out next week on 6/22. Thanks again for a great reaction!!
There is a lot of contradiction over Asami's style of singing, many supposed vocal coaches say what you are claiming and then there are many others who say that she looks so relaxed and makes it look so easy, with no forcing or problems with her style of singing. All I know is that she is amazing and hope she never changes her style of singing it is all perfectly fitted. Yes, Miho did not leave Lovebites to join another band, she is enjoying her freedom away from music but every now and then she joins her friends and jams out on the local scene. This is one of the reasons why the other members call her "The Gloden Touch" everything she composes is golden and a true masterpiece soon to be a classic

I would suggest "Edge of the World " for more Miako's piano and featuring Asami 's vocals .. "Hammer of Wrath" is awesome. or anything else, there are no Bad tracks

I have zero authority on this but I read via a couple of industry sources that Miho left the band due to pregnancy and her desire to try fulltime momhood, at least for a while. One article alleges that she was five months pregnant at Lovebites' final concert so I assume she's already deep into her new family life.
Midori can play 7 string guitars and Miyako too, before having her signature with Dean Miyako played 6 7 and even 8 string guitars, I don't know if she and Midori use them anymore, I never got to see the band's concerts that already I watched, I'll take this hook that you were curious about 7 string guitars, it would be interesting for you to check the following bands that I will say now, Nemophila with its two lead guitarists who use 7 string guitars, Unlucky Morpheus another speed metal band with the vocalist female and a violinist prodigy in the band, the vocalist is technically the best in japan currently in the metal genre and her two guitarists use 7 string guitars and are also very talented, and lastly a band that I have already recommended to you called Dir En Grey, their two guitarists also use 7 string guitars and they are one of the best duos in japan, sorry for the long text, be well and greetings!
Fun fact : that Roland Piano is actually not accoustic but electronic and Miyako said she never really was comfortable with it because its just not the same feeling than a "real" piano. Yeah, i mean we can see how crappy she played on it, right ? 😂
would love for you to check out twenty one pilots mtv unplugged performance, they did some cool versions of their songs by layering lots of harmonies, using live looping and sampling the crowd at one point.

That Etude is a piece of music a lot of piano teachers give to their students to increase the strength & dexterity of the left hand. Now when you take that left hand and place it on a guitar fretboard, combined with the musical genius that is Miyako, you get what we have here.
Midori, on the other hand, spent quite some time studying classical guitar. That's where her skills & musical mind comes from.
That Roland piano is actually a digital electronic piano. Apparently she had a bit of trouble getting used to the weight & feel of the keys. Quite different to the usual acoustic piano.

Chopin's song that Miyako(guitar / keyboard) played as an intro is "Etude OP10, No12", which is generally called "Revolutionary Etude".
In 1831, a rebellion by some officers and civilians against the Polish government under the control of the Russian Empire failed due to direct Russian intervention. Chopin is informed of this news during his journey. He lost his place to return.
When Russian troops invaded Warsaw, Chopin's agents announced "Etude OP10, No12" in Paris. People called it a "revolutionary etude" because the agents exaggerated and promoted the song.
Miyako composed "Swan Song" with reference to this "Revolutionary Etude" and Dvorak's "From the New World".
Former ballerina Asami (vocal) wrote a poem with the image of "Swan Lake" on the basis of the historical background of "Revolutionary Etude".
"Swan Song" is a requiem dedicated to the warriors who fought to regain their hometown, and is a masterpiece that only LOVEBITES can produce.
By the way, Asami seems to produce a high tone without having to look up. She seems to have become a habit because she always sang upwards when she was in the high notes.

It is Saki, a member of Nemophila and Mary's Blood, who plays the seven-string guitar, and plays in an amazing way.
Lovebites are an awesome band! I would love to see you react to another of the hottest all female rock/metal Japanese bands called Nemophila. Suggestions for a first time reaction to them would be Revive, Raitei, or Dissension. They also have a new single called Adabaya coming out next week on 6/22. Thanks again for a great reaction!!
There is a lot of contradiction over Asami's style of singing, many supposed vocal coaches say what you are claiming and then there are many others who say that she looks so relaxed and makes it look so easy, with no forcing or problems with her style of singing. All I know is that she is amazing and hope she never changes her style of singing it is all perfectly fitted. Yes, Miho did not leave Lovebites to join another band, she is enjoying her freedom away from music but every now and then she joins her friends and jams out on the local scene. This is one of the reasons why the other members call her "The Gloden Touch" everything she composes is golden and a true masterpiece soon to be a classic

I have zero authority on this but I read via a couple of industry sources that Miho left the band due to pregnancy and her desire to try fulltime momhood, at least for a while. One article alleges that she was five months pregnant at Lovebites' final concert so I assume she's already deep into her new family life.
The wagakki band Machiya has recently used a 7-string guitar.

Midori can play 7 string guitars and Miyako too, before having her signature with Dean Miyako played 6 7 and even 8 string guitars, I don't know if she and Midori use them anymore, I never got to see the band's concerts that already I watched, I'll take this hook that you were curious about 7 string guitars, it would be interesting for you to check the following bands that I will say now, Nemophila with its two lead guitarists who use 7 string guitars, Unlucky Morpheus another speed metal band with the vocalist female and a violinist prodigy in the band, the vocalist is technically the best in japan currently in the metal genre and her two guitarists use 7 string guitars and are also very talented, and lastly a band that I have already recommended to you called Dir En Grey, their two guitarists also use 7 string guitars and they are one of the best duos in japan, sorry for the long text, be well and greetings!

Fun fact : that Roland Piano is actually not accoustic but electronic and Miyako said she never really was comfortable with it because its just not the same feeling than a "real" piano.
