I have been to 9 Home Free concerts and when Tim hits those bass notes your chair and your whole body vibrates. The first time you experience it you are shocked. I try to take some one new to Home Free with me to watch their shocked faces and them getting hooked on Home Free's music. Love these guys.
Love Tim’s lows and Adam killed it! He also does harmonica in Work’in for a Liv’in. Austin can also do a harmonica and the new guy Adam Bastien also does a harmonica. So much fun. Thank you Yuri!
Chance's glasses are for blue light. He is subject to migraines. Austin helped on the live with the "nomonica", and yes, Adam Rupp did that in MoCS. In the lives, they tend to let Tim go nuts. Great reaction.
Adam actually has a video where he shows you how he does the nomonica, as he calls it. He taught Austin and now I think Bastien how to play the nomonica.
Saw 2 concerts when they did this song. Austin joined in with Rupp to do the " Nomonica ." It was fantastic. The concert I saw in September with the new member Bastien was just as good. Love those HomeFree boys. 💙🥰💙
I ❤️❤️❤️ when the guys all get a chance to shine--and a complete bonus when Adam goes off like that!! (The fact he isn't playing an actual harmonica is SO much clearer here than on the Man of Constant Sorrow video ❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️) #HomeFree
Thanks Yuri for the great review! Heard Rupp in an interview from earlier this year speak of making the harmonica sound by raising the soft palate to thin out the sound and then "pinging the sound" to the nose...then using the shape of his hands to alter the sound. So...yea, I think it is the head voice...at least in some altered/distorted way. He demonstrated it spontaneously...sounded so real! And yea, as others have said...Tim says he has the greatest range. In "Sold" he is down at the bottom A on the scale using throat bass. He is amazing.😊
Although I love all their videos, my favourites are always the live ones. Their energy, the audience's enthusiasm, the lower lows & higher highs all make them terrific. Adam also does "no-monica" in "Working for a Living". BTW, Tim's right hand goes down when he's going low, Austin pulls his elbows down when he's going high!
I agree about the live performances. They always give "extra" in the live performances. You will not ever see what all they can do unless you see them live.😊
It's amazing how they fill the whole universe with music. Rupp often is the one responsible for the highest notes. The best of the live videos of this song is in Canton, OH, 8/30/2023, posted by Shanrocks. Best in audio and video -- shot close up.
I had actually forwarded that Shanrocks video to Yuri separately to show him the bass trading as you can see it so much easier there. I did not use that video in my request though because there was some audience singing at the chorus and I try to give him videos without that if I can (harder to do than you might think as everyone likes to sing along with them...me included!).😊 But, I love your comment about them filling the whole universe with music...so true!😊 - Melissa
What a fun live video of Home Free doing this Garth Brooks' song. They all sounded great. Love Tim's lows & Adam is in a league by himself. He always blows me away with his awesome sounds.
Somewhere there is a clip where Adam explains how he uses his throat to make the nomonica sounds. If you watch Listen to the Music all those high notes in the background are coming from Adam
Love your HF reactions i follow 7 reactors one of them is Pappy D and in his reaction to this he said he has never heard an Acapella song where the only only one getting a solo is the beatboxer Adam´s the GOAT much love and respect from Denmark
This is a wild party when they perform this live. Just saw them perform it last week. Still sounds great! When I saw them last year they had just performed at sea level in California the night before. We live at 6,000 feet. After the first verse Tim was hanging on his knees struggling to breathe and laugh at the same time. 🎶🥰
Since this one isn't in the Official Videos list, I keep forgetting it. The energy in this one is sky high! It's one of HF's best! Garth has a thing against RUclips, so HF had to post it on Facebook.
Anyone saying the "a good set of headphones are better than speakers" has never had a good set of speakers. How is this still being said? It's total bs.
Tim said Adam Rupp has the biggest range of all of them. Thanks for the Home Free reactions
Did you realize that the verses are done in a single breath? That’s why Tim and Austin do the fist bump-they made it through!
Working for a living is also heavy with the nomonica!

Rupp's nomonica is indeed in Man of Constant Sorrow, but also in Working for a Living
Also folsom prison blues. The first nominica was actually tim in in white Christmas in the studio
Also in So Long Dixie.

These guys are simply the best ! #HOMEFREE
Chance does the bass when Tim sings, then trades back when Tim finishes singing.

WOW, indeed!!! 💜💜💜 I'm a long time Home Fry - great reaction, thank you!!
This is another killer video. These boys are amazing.❤❤❤

💙🥰💙
The concerts I attended Austin joined in as well.
Garth is in icon in his genre and it's amazing to hear and see his song in this awesome cover, done by other icons. 🌟

For more Rupp no-monica fabulosity, check out their cover of Huey Lewis' "Working for a Living." Also very fun!

One of Home Free's best songs/videos. Thanks for posting, Yuri!

One of my top 5 HF covers.
I’m very excited that you really liked this one. I could see it in your eyes. Thank you for sharing this with us. ❤. #HOMEFREE. For life.

Adam Bastien now does this with Tim and he's awesome! He also does the nomonica with Ruppster.

The live video is likely from a fan in the audience. Great reaction.
I saw them do this live this September, and Adam B did Austin’s part. It was awesome!!
If you like the harmonica you may want to check out “Workin for a Living”. Amber lay is Austin’s wife.

Forget being "Mitch-slapped" by Pentatonix, Home Free has had you "Ruined by Rupp"
👍🤣
The video is available on iTunes. 😊
