You haven’t missed out on anything with never hearing this song before with Led Zeplen. John just smashed it and made it brilliant.
This is we’re John warmed his voice up. The back up singers warmed there’s up too. And the band members could limber up there muscles as well. And all the sound technicians could get the sounds right.

Way to blow the cobwebs out of your voice before you start a concert. If he could do this as a warm up/sound check...he knew he would have no trouble hitting all the regular set list with ease. Such a shame he never performed it in concert. But luckily it did make it onto an album. If you want to expand your Rock from John ...try His cover of ACDC It's a Long way to the Top or all our Sons and Daughters.

Thank goodness for RUclips. It has opened up to the world John’s phenomenal talent. John could have been huge worldwide but chose to stay in Australia to give him and his family a normal life. Hopefully, seeing all these reactions to him will help him heal after his cancer surgery last year. You talked about the battle going on between John and his band. When he and Tom Jones did their concert it was an amazing display of talent. It was like three concerts in one - Tom and his band, then John and his band and then the two on stage together. It felt (to me anyway) that Tom and John tried to outdo each other, in a “best friends” kind of way. They had so much respect for each other. Charlie, if you want more rock and roll I hope you get a chance to react to John singing AC/DC’s hit song “It’s a Long Way to the Top” with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. Once again, a great performance. 😘💕🇦🇺.

Anyway it's just awesome. Listen to the studio recording first, watch out for copyright issues, you will probably have to make regular interrupts or splash Copyright all over the small screen or something. If you want to ease yourself into rock, may I suggest 2 songs. Don’t know if you are familiar with Pearl Jam??? They are my favourite band, formed in Seattle during the grunge era.
First suggestion is Pearl Jam - Black Unplugged. This is a stripped down acoustic version so you can hear the lyrics clearly.
    ruclips.net/video/wILpz80zVog/видео.htmlsi=TgQqkc-gEIthfl-Z
Second suggestion is by Pearl Jam lead singer Eddie Vedder - Invincible
    ruclips.net/video/dTZK8bwrBJk/видео.htmlsi=uwR4AHVCTHAs4JEu
Invincible is my equivalent to your Thunder in your Heart!! It is the song I have chosen to be played at the end of my funeral. I don’t understand why people choose hate instead of love. Why can’t we all just get along and appreciate the differences in each other, as that’s what makes us unique. Kindness is free. And that’s the message I want to leave when I exit this life and journey on to the next.
Thanks for the trip down memory lane today 🙂
    Cheers, Donna
