Good lighting on Tanker 2, you don't often see those army trucks with great lighting. Awesome catches!

scene 1 I love those crazy red flashing headlights on the truck, later Tanker 2 has some real interesting lights, looks almost like rectangular rotary LEDs. Great video!!

That 5-ton T2 is sick. We had the older 2 1/2-ton "deuce-and-half" milsurps back when I did this in the eighties, also re-purposed as tankers.

They make great forestries and tankers for sure!

I got one of our deuce-and-a-halfs stuck once at a wildfire, tires slicked up in black Florida muck. Was never more than a couple of inches deep, but slicker than cat crap on linoleum.
A front-end loader from the construction company that started the fire got us out. Definitely need to have real tires on them; ours had streets at the time.

@@911ERV Yessir, I've seen it in the fire station and stood next to it. I wanna say it's around 8-10 feet tall, sadly they retired it from service this year, it will still be used however until their new forestry unit is fitted for duty
Also, did you know they nicknamed it Mad Max?
