Fire Trucks, Helicopters, and Air Tankers Respond to a Large Wildland Fire in San Mateo County

On Tuesday, June 21st, 2022, San Mateo County Firefighters Responded to Several Calls of a brushfire burning at Edgewood Park in Redwood City. Firefighters arrived and found multiple large fires in the same hillside, which prompted a mass response from CalFire and other agencies around San Mateo County! As of 10:35pm on Tuesday, June 21st, the fire was reported to be approximately 25 acres and containment is unknown at this time. Enjoy the Video!

Nice job on getting all the different assets, especially the "air" assets! That was a rare catch @5:30 with the " hawk" doing a segmented drop followed by that air -tanker @5:40 or so!!👍🇺🇸🇺🇸

Thanks! Yeah, seeing the MD80 making their drop practically right in front of me was nice to see. It was also my first time seeing one of the brand new CalFire "Firehawks", so that was nice to see!
