    is the metal can cured or is it raw with nothing done to it? asking because all i see is that they need to be coated and cured in order for sublimated ink to set? Sorry just starting out. Have many questions and this one is the first one.

    Why put it in warm water? I’m confused on that step? I’ve never seen that before and I’ve watched lots of videos on the subject

      Because you need to make sure to avoid a large temperature difference that can lead to tiny cracks in the surface

    I have an igloo logan tumbler it's stainless steel, does it need a coating for sublimation?

    • @printequipment
      @printequipment  3 года назад +1

      For sublimation, you need a material that is made of or coated with polyester.
      With the help of our Subli Prep lacquers, it is also possible to coat your own articles and thus create the prerequisite for sublimation.
      You can find the right lacquer in our shop: www.printequipment.de/en
      Or if you want to, just contact us at info@printequipment.de or +49 7223 2815 400

      Hello, we suggest it, as it absolutley stops the sublimation process and therefore will give better results.

      I'm also wanting to know the same. I thought that you would need to spray glaze on it before it could take the sublimation.
