Professional construction company: walls, insulation, wiring, it will take us about two weeks if we have 5 guys working on it full time. Jeff: took me bout day and a quarter. Oh and i also got me a turkey.... Legend!
Just got done watching the catfish box vid. Got a day off and catching up since I don’t have a TV on some RUclips. That house looks like the new one they built on the ranch up here. Sheds snow really good up here
You really got a lot done in two days! Framing, wiring, insulated complete inside of cabin! Glad you got a nice turkey out of the trip. Love you guy’s, be safe, stay healthy, & God Bless everyone.
Hail Storm or a Woodpecker would make it sound like Gatling gun was outside LOL Looking great Jeff , IDK about there here if you install your own power poles it cuts down on a major price for putting in power not paying for truck crews and auger machinery .
"Gotta have a box fan." My wife and I have to have a box fan running in order to sleep. Once, on a visit to my sister, I got out of bed at 3AM just to go to Walmart to pick up a fan because the house was way too quiet to sleep.
Hi Jeff ☺ great job mate, progress is good, and a turkey to boot, life's good, don't know where you get all your energy from, maybe it's eating game that does it,lol. Stay safe guys, best wishe's to all, Stuart uk.
Nice work, no snow going to stay on that roof. Place a piece of plywood on top of the generator and on the side to throw the sound of the muffler away from the cabin.
Looking good Jeff 👍 9" beard 👌 decent bird bro, Cyall setting cat boxes 😀 Looking forward to noodle time,,, be nice to your elbows this year bro lol if you can :)
Been watching you awhile. Cool build me and my wife have a small cabin at the back of our property nothing like yours but we enjoy it keep up the good work. Jeff in OHIO
Jeff I like your layout I like your plan I've been thinking for the last 5 years on some kind of a A-Frame but then seeing what you've done here it's real close to an A-frame and I like it I'm thinking about putting one of them at my lake property
Holy cow, Jeff, you are rocking. I need some help here in Maine with my cabin if you have some time LOL. Are you getting slaughtered by crazy lumber prices down there like we up are here? I could buy a 2'by4" about a year ago for less than $3 and now they are $8 + or - right now. We are thinking of buying a portable sawmill so we can afford to finish my cabin and then build one for my brother. Looking great buddy. God Bless and Good Hunting Maine North Woods Hunter (Shane)
I hate insulation also… a little trick I do, is to keep some painters tape(the blue stuff)on hand. When I’m done insulating, anywhere I think I might have gotten it on me I’ll take the tape and apply it, then peel it off… it will help to remove all of the fibers from the insulation that are on your skin, and is pretty good at getting the ones that have started”dig in”. I do this when I use a rotary tool on metals too! It cuts the itch WAY down later on so you don’t have to sit at home scratching like a crackhead!
Hey Jeff I needed this peak into what y'all got going on to take a break from what I got going on. You scratched an inch for me in my head, kinda like gettin someone else to scratch on your back, that has needed to be scratch for a bit now. I dig the father sharing progress with his interests and fatherly way you share it vibe you got going on with your channel. Keep it up brother, it makes my back not so itchy lol. Preciate y'all 😆
I would have put a windowed entrance door on the upstairs so I could walk out onto the front porch roof! It is a nice vantage point to look down out over the area, maybe sit up there with a cold drink and plink a few varmints now and then? I have a question. Doesn't it sweat behind the tin when it's cold? Could it drip condensation on the backside of the insulation?
I gotta have a box fan too. It's like American Express, I don't leave home without it. I even request a fan when cruising with carnival and they actually have em. Cabin looks good. Congratulations on the turkey. I got one here in southwest Georgia last week that had an 11 and a quarter inch beard. Preciate ya'll. Keep em coming.
Looking great Jeff. Can’t wait to see when it’s finished. There’s never enough time in a day to get done what you want to get done. Good luck turkey hunting and be safe.
Luckily not as cold as it used to be up here in Kansas, depending on where you’re at. Springs we have the storms, and then heat like hell in the summer. Last three weeks we’ve had heat indexes in the 102°-106° range. And of course the almost ever present wind. Would love to know what part of Kansas you are building. We have a big reservoir here in Butler County with lots of flatheads, and the Blue cars they put in are starting to get pretty good size.
Won't be long and y'all will be able to sit in rocking chairs on the front porch and swap hunting stories. The place is comin along great Mr Jeff. Is solar/wind power not an option? Preciate y'all sharing this build.
I was surprised when you would stop talking and then I would see that you got a lot done without putting your camera on high speed. Great job as usual Jeff.
Super job I enjoy watching your progress and explain what is going to happen. Really looking forward to the completed cabin, it's going to be comfortable and plenty of room
“Hey, I really preciate y’all”, now that’s being sincere. Thanks Jeff we appreciate your videos and inspiring creations. 😉🤙🏼
"Able to leap tall buildings in a single bound, faster than a speeding bullet". Jeff makes Superman look slow when he has a project to finish.
We need our American children watching Jeff’s videos in our schools. School of kickin’ A at life!
I struggle building sandwiches. You're something else, man!
'preciate ya'll!
This guy has forgotten more than most would need for an SAT exam. Smart boy there with a BAM! kitten. You go Man!
Looking good Jeff. Glad y'all harvested some birds.
Jeff is awesome! Appreciate you sir! Watching your videos gives me motivation👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

It’s looking really really good, coming together nicely👍
2 bathrooms😳thats proper fancy Sir
Love your work
I like it when you say “anyways”
...or say "fixin' to" or "directly"? We talk that way too here in Kentucky.
Great stuff Jeff. Looks bloody good 🍺🍺
The Turkeys. Flew. To Arkansas....💜💜💜💜

🤣🤣🤣
@@DadGummitMan Wow, I love utter silence. I used to live in the city and never had a good night sleep. Now in the country it's quiet as can be!
Hearing the rainfall on the tin would knock me right out to sleep.
I’m mighty fond of opening the windows and listening to the night creatures... when weather permits!
Same. In fact, I've done the same thing on trips to the beach when I forgot my fan. Now I have about three that I've re-boxed until I need one.
You the man, bud. Your skills are greatly appreciated by another craftsman.
I would bet Jeff has a hard time finding employees that can keep up with him. lol
Outstanding 👍💯✌🇺🇸
sweet, home sweet home
Jeff and Hannah. Thank the stars yer all safe.

Good job Jeff. You the man.
Hi Jeff, your doing well with that build buddy you aren't afraid of a bit of hard work. Fair play sir. 👍
Nice little cabin !! Without vaper barrier ,or double bubble between your metal and fiberglass insulation ,it will mold. Been there done that.
Looks good Jeff good job always do a good job
I love your building projects
That's definitely a unique structure...so tall and roomy. A build of a lifetime
Going to be a good Kansas deer season. Safe travels.
Jeff, I'd run a generator. It may cost you a small fortune to get that power line ran up in there.
Awesome 👍👍👍
great job, coming from northeast alabama i can honestly say ''appreciate yall''
