@@hugolyall677Vampire Steve theory, right? With him being revealed as Kas and Vecna's henchman It's similar to Billy and what everyone thought Eddie would be, Kas but honestly don't think they're going that route anymore. I think Steve will not be Kas and not be a Vampire despite being bitten by bats and then drinking the bat's blood by biting it then living to survive. It is a good theory and would be full circles going back to what Robin says about rabies but with what we know now I doubt it I think Kas will be Noah Schnapp's Will. Will will be Vecna's Kas and then at the end turn on him. This makes sm more sense and stays true to the plot. Have evil Will but then he turns good at the end And with what we know so far, no Eddie will not return as a vampire as Kas but he could be in flashbacks or Vecna use forms of Eddie to taunt Dustin like he did with hallucinations of Billy taunting Max
Everyone thinks its either Steve or Jonathan because of their love triangle with Nancy, but I think it's gonna be Nancy because of it. And also because Mike is the only one of the kids who hadn't a big loss jet. Dustin lost Eddie, Lucas (probably) lost Max, she lost Billy, Eleven lost her mom, Hopper and papa and has been through a lot in her life, so did Will, who is Vecnas main victim. Mike lost El, but we knew she was alive all the time, doesn't really count.
I have this vision that the kids could call Dimension X "Camatotz" and that's where they think Max is and Dustin be like "Camatotz, a place that's a wrinkle in time ruled by the Mind Flayer and his 5 star general, the dark wizard, Vecna" and I can also see in the last episode Dustin going we did it, now it's only the rightside up that remains and Steve go "Seriously? The rightside up?" and then Dustin goes "What? You know, opposite of Upside down?" then Steve finishes it off by saying "Eh, well we've heard stranger things than that" Honestly? This works, you can't tell me otherwise. Also, love you RelayTS you've been so consistent. Maybe we get our first look into Season 5 with Netflix's "Next On Netflix" trailers between December and Early February but honestly? I think it'll be Super Bowl which is also early February so they'll just do the "next on Netflix" that way and they should be done with filming completely by February and they been doing post production at the same time as filming to work fast. By the way, can we talk about how grateful we are that they decided to work on post production at the same time? We complain about how long it's taking but imagine they decided to not do post production work at the same time. OMG, we'd literally be talking about a 2026 release maybe 2027 release if anything. Praise God honestly that it's 2025 and that they been working as hard and as fast as they can while doing VFX at the same time with all production work. People complain now but I can't even imagine if they decided to start post production after filming. Post production lasts 6 months to a year. It might still be where it was like Season 4 and they were still working on VFX even the week of release. I think they'll have adequate time though if it's released on November 6th 2025 or at least for the final volume releasing by then, I honestly think things should be tidied up and perfect by then maybe volume 1 still have VFX being worked on
I've noticed this problem with stranger things not killing off main characters since season 3. Back in 2019 everybody thought I was crazy and now it seems like everyone's agreeing with me.
This is the one thing I have a hard time agreeing with. While Bob, Billy, and Brenner aren’t main characters in the sense of being part of the main group of kids/teens, their actors names appear in the main credits on their respective seasons. Meaning they technically are main characters as they are not relegated to having their names appear in the closing credits. So while I agree with you to an extent (which is why I am so against all of the main characters surviving season 5) that they don’t kill the main “main characters” they aren’t only killing lesser characters.
These are all reasons for why I think he WONT die. We all know the Duffer brothers always try and go for the most unexpected twists and turns possible, but to kill off Steve would just be way too obvious of a death. Literally everybody is talking about how Steve is gonna die, and the Duffer brothers do have ears. They're listening to what we're saying. Take that 'Protect Steve' billboard for example that went up before season 4 launched. They know we're all scared for Steve's life, so killing him off is too much of a no-brainer. Of course it is 100% possible that Steve could in fact die, but I just think that would be too predictable for the Duffer bros.
It'll be Jonathan Byers instead of Steve Harrington. It'll seem like it's Steve just to get people like "OMG, is this it?!" and then boom, the shock and plot twist happens at least to new fans of the show that oh no it's actually Jonathan Jonathan actually makes a lot more sense than Steve for the story. Steve is just for the most emotional death and to kill the fan favorite and get the most tears. But Jonathan actually makes sense for the story not only is it within Nancy's storyline but also Will's storyline. Who else knows Will's secret besides Jonathan and is there for Will? Who does Vecna like to target the most? The most vulnerable people. Who has he always targeted and will target? Will. Who is Season 5 going to end with and about? Will. Who is close with Will? Jonathan But yeah, Jonathan dying protecting Nancy and for his little brother Will but Steve almost dying is bound to happen. But Steve could very well die or at least not die but get stuck in the upside down. And what I mean by that is, I do see a scenario where it ends like Season 1 finale "The Upside Down" but this time Will is the one to stop Vecna and looks at Mike (his crush he confessed his love to) and says "Goodbye, Mike" then disappears into the Upside Down with all the monsters since he's connected and in order for them to all go, Will HAS to go too and Steve actually jump in cause he really does feel like he is not only the babysitter but he owes Jonathan for saving Nancy and his life (cause Jonathan sacrificed himself and ask Steve to watch over Will for him if he didn't make it and take care of Nancy & Steve and Jonathan genuinely bonded over this and Steve swore to him and Steve ends up stuck in the Upside Down with Will or at least disappears. And right before Steve jumps in with Will, he looks at Dustin and says "Look after the rest of the kids for me, alright Henderson?" and Steve jumps in and disappears with Will seemingly gone forever But I do feel like this is a cliffhanger and not a true franchise ending and leaves open for a possible movie which honestly, I like this ending the more and more I think about it. Doing it like this with a possiblility of a future movie
I think it will be Jonathan, I can see Vecna going after him because he knows Will has a close relationship with his brother. If they were going to kill Steve off it would have made more sense to do it in season four. I can see Murray being the other death.
I honestly think it’ll be either Eleven or Will, maybe even both of them. I mean it technically started with both of them (El having been the one who opened the gate and Will being the one who was captured first) it should end with them.
Honestly, if Steve dies it’s probably going to have the most impact on Dustin probably, I mean Dustin hadn’t really interacted with Steve that much in season 4 and he had spent time with Eddie who was one of his older friends too who had died at the end. Now because we’re going to see the impact that Eddies death has on Dustin in the final season, then if Steve dies too, I feel like Dustin would die too. I mean he had literally admitted to that in season 3. I know everybody says that Will is the most left out but Dustin is definitely the most left out, he never even interacted with anyone besides Steve, Robin and Erica until the last episode in season 3 which clearly shows how alone he feels. So with Dustin and also kind of Will feeling like a third wheel being the only two in the party without a partner and along with Steve (Not Robin because I guarantee she’ll be with Vickie) clearly means that Dustin will die. The setting literally starts a year after Eddies death so if Steve does die in volume 1 then omfg that’ll be too much for him definitely.
I really think Dustin may die because he already lost Eddie and would not be able to deal with the lose of his best friend Steve, if Steve dies yes it would be sad but I think what will happen is Steve comes very close to dying wether it’s by demobats or whatever I think Steve will get close to dying and then Dustin will jump in front of him and sacrifice himself for Steve and then Steve will grow up and name one of his kids Dustin.
I feel like a lot of people are really scared or worried for Steve. I feel like they should maybe enjoy he's still around. What if they've worried for his death for however long for no reason at the end. Maybe the Duffers want him to be a dad one day. I will say though it's strange we never met either of his parents considering how popular Steve is and how long he's been in the show. We just hear Steve dislikes his dad a lot. I still feel they are maybe taking a member from the Wheeler family or the Hopper-Byers family or both. Maybe they will take Steve, Nancy, and Mike. Mike got shot by a toy arrow, probably a bad sign. Steve is very cared about and got bitten up. Nancy is a strong women and good with a gun. She felt like a leader in season 4. Shows seem to like taking female leaders away. Dustin losing both of his older blood brothers. It makes me feel very sad for him. El losing Mike makes me sad for her too. They missed each other so much in season 2.
to be honest if it's Steve it makes sense because his arc seems completed so if they kill him off I would be fine with it would it be a double tragedy after Eddie's death yes but at the same time it is indeed the final season so it wouldn't really matter if he dies he dies I would be okay with it he has to sacrifice himself at some point in the season to keep everyone safe I know people are not gonna like this but it makes sense guys because of that love triangle between Steve Nancy and Jonathan that's been going on for the past four seasons now. it would be sad but a hero always have to do what's best by saving the day it would be sad but him sacrificing himself completes his character arc not necessarily but that's how a story is sometimes. but If he does die I can see it happening two ways here in episode 6 because of that Steve you need to run audio or in the penultimate episode where he dies on the battlefield tragically sacrificing himself being the hero he always was that's how I can see it happening which would be pretty cool in my opinion.
I hope either way steve would sacrifice or at least don't let him see his dream wife to be with somebody else besides him, but I really wish for him to get his happy ending preferably with nancy if not just please keep him allive take Jonathan or even Nancy just gave Steve his happy ending he can be injured and all of that but let him spend some time with his family.
Steve has to make sense. Not to end the love triangle and not to sacrifice to a demogorgon. I think killing steve would be extremely cruel to robin, nancy and especially dustin. And it would be so anti climatic, people are almost wanting him to die to get it out the way. I think he'll live, it's too easy. Id rather an unpredictable, shocking death. Someome that we assume is safe, like Lucas, Dustin, Nancy or Robin ect
Some great justifications for why it would be Steve, but I'm tempted to say that this video could be made about any of the leads with different reasons why.
IT not Steve he get wounded. Nancy will die.... when all 4 go Dustin,Jonathan, Nancy and Steve get in car in tunnel to find the new hideout for Vecna they find him in church...... bip bap boom .... Vecna pissed at Nancy he zaps her they rest are in shock run out with Steve carrying out Nancy take her home. 😢
He is going to die because they are going back to their season one roots and since he was always intended to die in season 1 I think that will be one way the show cashes in on this statement
Same! Eddie, Steve and Dustin are the best characters and they’ve already killed off Eddie. Although I still have high hopes Eddie will be back in some capacity in season five.
If he does die in the final season, I’ll be saying this he may start as a bully, but certainly died as a hero
Or he lives long enough to become the villain

Good stories don’t need main characters to be killed in order to have a satisfying ending they just need an ending that is good and well is an ending
