@Ricky Varney i see yr point. but: just using a hi-pitched reverse echo loop/drone to improvise over isn`t for sure enough to be a `copy` of bill frisell. mr.bro and mr.frisell are both pretty well distinguishable and highly unique. maybe listen to each of them again more carefully. i guess mr.frisell is at least twice as old as mr.bro. for me, frisell's playing has a completely different athmo than bro's. bill plays much more 'jazzy' than jakob. one is danish, the other american. and i recognise each of them in a few seconds. no danger of confusion:-). not even when both use partly similar or the same fx pedals, but millions of others use them as well. cheeerz!
Gorgeous and enthralling.
Love you, Jakob. This is so beautiful I'm in tears.
So beautiful!
Genious.
Anybody have a setlist of this show?
32:00. 💛
I love Jakob's music, but he started to copying Bill Frisell's music to much. Inspired by is one thing, but I want to hear him.
i would say, he makes his Won, althoug he is inspired by Bill. It isn't a copy. There is no root in American music.
