It was another beautiful day this morning. There was more straw in the box, but the gorillas did not come close today because it is hot in this place. More importantly, one of the second ground doors was open. It must have been the first time since last year.
The gorillas like this place, so they were in and out frequently.
The second ground is for Gentaro and Kintaro.
Also, Gentaro has a little injury on his right shoulder.

Father MOMOTARO ♂(2000/7/3)
He is hesitant in new situations and is a loner.
His father died before he was born, and he had never spent time with a silverback.
He had already turned into a silverback by the time he was 10 years old.
He is struggling with unfamiliar child-rearing.
MOMOTARO's father is BIJU.
MOMOTARO's mother is MOMOKO
Mother GENKI ♀ (1986/6/24)
She is 14 years older than Momotaro and has a role to support the whole family mentally.
She has had a tumultuous and eventful life.
She has returned to her birthplace, Kyoto City Zoo.
She had never been blessed with a baby but after meeting Momotaro,
she had two sons.
She is a very maternal female gorilla.
GENKI's father is MAKK.
GENKI's mother is HIROMI.
First son GENTARO, male (2011/12/21)
He was separated from his mother Genki soon after he was born.
Genki's milk production was not very good.
He was raised by his keeper for his first10 months.
Because of this, he is very fond of humans.
His face is so expressive, and everyone enjoys watching him.
Second son KINTARO ♂ (2018/12/19)
He is just very strong-willed and independent.
He has big eyes and long eyebrows.
The way he plays a lot with his brother Gentaro makes everyone smile.
We can't wait to see what kind of gorilla he'll become!

OMG! The last view of Gentaro's back really shows how big he's gotten. Almost time to hook him up with a female mate. Shabani's daughter Annie would be great for him.
He’s still got quite a while to go before that. Male gorillas (Gorilla Gorilla, Lowland gorillas) don’t sexually mature until 15 to 20 years of age.
Momotaro was 10 years old when Gentaro was conceived... think again.
I can totally see history repeating itself. Gentaro bragging to Annie. Then she shows him she isn't a pushover. Just like how Genki did to Momo when they first started living together. That was crazy seeing Momo beat his chest like that. I rarely see him do that.

Momotaro is Momoka’s first child. He has three sisters and one brother Ricki. I love both families.
Momoko is his mom. Momoka is his sister.
Kintaro and his Uncle Ricki look like they could be twins.

Being classified as a silverback is more dependent on physical development versus his age. For example, Momotaro finished maturing at the age of 10. Once his canines finish coming in and his sagittal crest fully develops he’ll be an official silverback. I wouldn’t be surprised if he finishes maturing this year!
GL, I love your videos of this family. Seeing them is like visiting old friends. Each member has a unique personality: Genki the Earth Goddess, the handsome but often taciturn Momotaro, Kintaro the playful clown and Gentaro who is becoming more serious as he grows older, but still likes to play with his little brother. ❤🦍🦍🦍🦍💜🤗

I hope so. Gorillas are very social creatures. I wouldn’t want Gentaro to get lonely or depressed. Him and Kintaro have such a special bond. It would be cool if Kyoto used the second grounds as an enclosure for a bachelor group. Kiyomasa, Rikki, Gentaro, and eventually Kintaro would make a great troop. It would give them a chance to practice socializing with new gorillas before being paired with a female mate and give them sometime to adjust to their developing bodies 😊 I doubt that it’ll happen but it would be cool to see.

Das wäre toll ich wohne wohl in Köln aber ihn in Leipzig zubesuchen wäre schön. Ich liebe die ganze Familie sehr und würde gerne alle von ganz nah sehen ,Japan ist so weit entfern und ich nicht die jüngsten aber schon die Videos zusehen von ihnen verschönert mir den Tag. ❤🦍❤🦍❤🦍❤🦍❤
This is a beautiful gorilla family. I just wish that Genki had some female companionship. All she has are three unruly males and it must get lonely for her. However, Kintaro is still an oversized, needy little infant and that gives Genki some purpose. Poor old girl.
She was moved back to Kyoto because she did not get along with the other females at Ueno, where she endured great stress from competition. I think she's happy as she is now.😊
In her care, the current environment is the best for her.

Genki has gastrointestinal issues, as she has bad teeth, she can't properly chew her food, and plants are full of fiber so there's a lot of gas/bloating involved. There has been no confirmation she's pregnant, she would have to be in estrus first.

Meus dois amores Kintaro e Genki, Kintaro é uma criança gorila, precisa da mãe, ele não vai morar com Gentaro, vai visitar Gentaro, acho estranho, sempre fico pensando no espaço e que Gentaro tem Annie como primeira opção, o que é uma sorte, assisti o vídeo de um alojamento de solteiros e achei os gorilas entediados e tristes, se a Annie está no Japão, por que não? Eu não entendo, vale uma tentativa de aproximar esses casal, com isso abre poryas no futuro para Kintaro que tambem vai precisar de uma ou duas fêmeas, sempre imagino Kintaro com duas fêmeas, essa é a hora do planejamento para Kintaro, se não vao acontecer a mesma situação do Gentaro por falta de planejamento, é muito importante já planejar, mas não Alojamento de solteiros, poucos realmente cumprem a função proposta, outros são depositos de gorilas ou os gorilas estão nesse lugar para alguem ganhar $$$$
Eu acredito que tem muitas pessoas inteligentes que podem pensar em uma solução melhor, estou comentando sobre esse assunto porque me preocupo e amo os gorilas. Amo muito meu lindo príncipe Kintaro e a linda e doce Genki ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

For one thing, most of the gorillas in Japan are related in one way or another. I believe there are only 20 gorillas in Japan. Also, it's not solely the zoo's decision on who goes where. It's probably some organization similar to the Species Survival Plan in the United States.
@@Luciasantos-by9np they have utilized the space though with the climbing equipment. The boys are really in the best shape of all the gorilla's I watch. They are very strong and muscular. No jiggle or flab on them. Lol. They are also very smooth and coordinated moving and swinging on the bars. You have to give them kudos for providing the best way for exercise in their space and computer to stimulate their brain. I think they do pretty good. Some zoos just have ground, nothing to climb. Or play with. You can tell the silverbacks are flabby. No flab on The boys here, solid muscle

私もあまり水分が欲しくないです。気づいたら昼過ぎまで飲んでなかったりします。水道水がいい人とペットボトルの水がいい人がいます。どっちがいいのか分かりません。

水分は取りすぎはダメですが、最低でも実は1日2L摂取。
しかし、ほとんどの方は取れてません。
普段から体内は脱水症状になってるそうです。なんとか身体は生命維持を頑張ってる。代わりに肌荒れ、肥満、怪我や病気になりやすいです。内臓の老化も早いです。
体内の60%以上は水分ですからね。
ゴリラは、普段、植物を生で食べてます。かなり水分を含んでますから、人間とは比較はできません。彼らは30kgのサラダを毎日食べてますからね。
