R.I.P to these amazing sites that we grew up with. We'll miss you ❤️
Also I checked the last video I posted was in December and we're in May (now beginning of JULY LMAO)? My fault chat 🥺
I want to get into making video essays again so we'll see how far this goes. :3

Because they can't collect data to sell ads on children's content. So... blame privacy laws, I guess.

    Couple reasons:
1: Roblox has completely dominated this space, to the point that there is no chance for competition.
2: parents have become more aware of what’s on the internet, and thus gone to more trusted sources.
3: creeps be creeps my man

Omg I played most the games you mentioned!
I'm 25 and I love playing those games still, but I hate how unsafe it is for kids. I played VRChat and the amount of creeps I had to scream at because I could hear them talking to VERY OBVIOUS kids. I also got groomed as a kid on the websites and I still fail to find the best way to make sure kids understand internet safety well. Because I remember that back then I thought I had it figured out too 😔.

I’m so sorry to hear that 😰 I also too hope our generation can at least try to make it better space for the youth and teach the Dos and Don’ts about being on the internet

i think something worth noting is that us 2000s kids who played these games are now mostly adults. back then, we didn't have adults invading these sites because they didn't grow up playing hundreds of free online flash games like we did, so they had no reason to meddle in spaces that weren't meant for them. nostalgia is a pretty big reason why the adults now are still sticking around kids games

It's 2024 if grown people can enjoy Bluey then we are allow to love my little pony.

I enjoy Bluey too. It’s just some people from the MLP community I mentioned that tend to go overboard when they make certain content that might traumatize a 10 year old is what I’m trying to say. But I agree, you can be a grown up and still enjoy these shows.

@@kirijaztv I was a Brony. I Joined the Brony fandom in 2011 when I was 20 years old. It was the best thing to happen in my early adult life.
Was there NSFW Content? Yes I partake in that myself but I tried to label my stuff so underage people wouldn't find it. but at the same time it wasn't my responsibility to keep the kids off the dark side. It was the parents responsibility.

I recommend running your audio through a de-esser as your mic seems to pick up S's quite harshly. Love the video

Weird to include a section about the 4chan jar incident tbh. I'm not a staunch defender of that website by ANY means, but it is 100% an adult space. Aside from social taboo, I don't really see what the problem is in general with grown men watching the show.
It is devastating though that we don't have ANY well regulated online spaces for kids (particularly during 2020)

    • @kirijaztv
      @kirijaztv  29 дней назад +2

I hear you and there isn’t a problem for adults to watch that show especially during this time. However the point was made since the media was mainly catered to children so seeing that incident situation happened was heartbreaking and distasteful. And also yes, I agree on your last statement as well.
