I’ve been having a lot of issues with GPT Pilot. It needs some maturity. It can handle basic stuff but if you throw anything of complexity at it, it runs into versioning issues and deprecated code issues and all kinds of problems. It went into a crazy install/uninstall loop using JS to create a simple blog app using nodejs on both my 2022 MacBook Pro and a custom built gaming desktop running Fedora.
I was able to get it to work with local models. I got it working with vs code and with pycharm using LM studio. the trick is to use your actual GPT open AI API but you dont use their models you swap it with your local model name and aslong as you have your env filled out properly it fires up. it might be a little easier to do it in vs code. I only have a 360 12 gb but im able to run sakura-solar-instruct.Q5_K_M.gguf no problems. seems to work pretty good so far.

Are we living in metaverse now? No? Zuckerberg even changed meta direction as it was failure. Now we have generative ai run, hope it won’t be as bad as metaverse but yea xD love ppl who go into every trend media provides and hype it like it is only truth

How to connect local model? I try change endpoint to my model local endpoint. Non working
I had issues using my own OPENAI key. I found the .env file that needed to be updated was in /gpt-pilot/pilot/.env
