RTX 4080, 4K resolution, quality DLSS preset and ultra settings. Around 20 FPS.
Times has changed, but Underground 2 still wants to melt down your PC lol
In this video I went with 1440p resolution, balanced DLSS preset and high settings.
This must be why certain games don't use such violent raytracing, otherwise the fps would be like this nfsu2 game, it needs a lot of optimization. This is because there are no reflections in the car, I think it would have to run in 1080p with dlss performance 🤣
The reflexion of the arrow is so comical for some reason. Like, is there really a big blue arrow over the car?

Well yeah rendered inside the game world itself. Pretty funny indeed.
iirc the big blue arrow is the representation of GPS navigation.. been about 2 decades since i last played the game but i'm pretty sure about that.
20YO game sounds better than new Forza Motorsport 😂
It sounds better than GT7, New Need for Speeds and Horizons aswell, this game is one of the best ever made.

I really Think EA is losing a good chunk of money by not re-releasing these on Origin/EAaccess... Doesn't need to be a remake or anything... just the Old NFS games, at most a simple upscale or 60fps, but even that we can get with mods, so its all good... its just, if you want these games now, you HAVE to go the pirate way, or find a still working CD...and most pc's don't even have CD drives anymore

The issue is that the light sources turn on late, because of draw distance, i don't think you can fix this.

what's up with headlights and taillights? seems to be not working. and reflections on cars....
Actually it looks worse than OG NFSU2. RTX is good, but remixes should be done with higher poly models and better textures, not adding ray tracing. It's not even that cool.

It dosent look good
It always looks better on youtube, but I can´t find any preset. The depth of the car interiour is like solid fog, the green car colours are very blue while nailing the body reflection, but carbon looks bad, sky is too bright...
